@innervisions100 Something tells me it comes from that age old idea that beauty is pain. The clothes we put ourselves in, the things we do yo fit into some of those clothes it gets super dark. I hope as time moves forward we can say we can be beautiful while being comfortable not only in the clothes but with ourselves.
Nobody is forcing you to wear high heels. Christian Louboutin also designs plenty of sneakers and other comfy footwear, heels are a aesthetic choice. He doesn't design shoes to inflict pain due to some "hatred for women" , maybe think that some people genuinely enjoy wearing shoes like this. I enjoy wearing heels, they give me confidence and added height and it straightens my posture. He is a fashion icon, I doubt you feel the same way about female designers who design shoes just like this, not everyone enjoys wearing sneakers.
I have many So Kates and my best advice for them to be comfortable, don’t take them off when you want to take them off. Cuz once they’re off your feet will swell and putting them back on will hurt so much more
I hate how almost all high heels are so pointy, I have wide feet ffs 😭 this means I have to buy a size bigger (and the back of my foot keeps coming out) and the front is just a long empty tip looking like elf shoes

Idk exactly what you mean by this but if we're talking about weight to reduce the pressure on your feet, I am under 100 lbs and I would be dying from the pressure that would be on the balls of my feet
We shouldn't celebrate someone putting themselves in pain for "beauty." Especially when it's completely unnecessary, there are gorgeous heels out there that are relatively comfortable.
He said that because he wasn't able to make really good shoes. This is not quality for me. I will never buy this brand. I spend much money for shoes, but they have to meet my needs. I am the customer and shoes are made for customers, not the other way round.

I actually think the 10cm version is not that bad? You just have to size up and use pads inside and they’re the same as any regular pair of stilletos
