I have a great phone that takes amazing quality videos but the minute I turn it to landscape mode front or rear facing all the sudden my eyes look as if they are looking away from the viewers. In vertical mode i'm straight at them. I know people hate the grids and I am trying to appease them by landscape mode and have found no settings that can fix this. Do you have a solution? hey. I use Google Pixel XL I also have the rode videomicro great mic btw. I experienced a hissing noise when connected to my phone but found out that it won't work with my stock camera app. find a camera app where you can select the source for audio recording. all the best

So it looks like you can put the lens right over the front-facing camera enabling you to see your screen and use the lens at the same time, is that correct? Also, the placement of the front-facing camera is slightly different on the iphone 5; do you think it would still work?

I have a situation where I need to record a programmers' meetup. I'll put my phone on the speaker table, face the projector display and have a bit of wide angle to capture the speaker as well. Te speaker will be at the other end of the table, moving just a bit. I think I have a good tripod, but phone microphone is not usable for this. Which one would you recommend? I'm considering BOYA BY M1 from your other video due to long cable length. Also, for the camera length, what kind of length would be suitable for capturing text? Since it's programming, most of the important content is code (text). Thanks a lot for the great videos!

Thanks Sean, I was waiting for this! :) I shoot with my Samsung Galaxy note 4 and I don't use a dedicated tripod, just a regular one with a phone adapter. I find it more stable. My biggest issue is stability when I vlog around the city. I remember you showing us the iOgrapher, do you know something similar for Samsung?
