1. You don't need to stand in the middle of no where to aim better. Use cover. If they are not on the objective and they are not threatening your team with their positioning that enemy is useless to their team. 2. Learn to track cooldowns. Any enemy with an escape ability is annoying, but forcing them to use it when they didn't want to means you could set them up to be finished off by a teammate who still has theirs to chase after them. 3. Make it your job to track at least one ult on the enemy team. The kill cam if you have it active is a great way to get a glimpse at the enemies ult charge. Use this information to know if you should commit to certain positions. Its no fun being in an open space and a Dva bomb flies in and you have no cover nearby. 4. PING! even if you are too shy or can't/ don't want to talk using the ping system to let people know you saw a cheeky flanker or a sniper is great information for the team. Knowing where the enemy is or isn't can give your team a massive advantage in their blind spots. 5. Don't flame your team! We all have those matches where our team feels like they are fumbling. Be positive, Pump them up when you see them make a play that gets you the objective or shuts down an ult. Thank them for pealing that player of you. Good moods make people play better.
I would add to watch the kill count, I’ve got them making diff sounds when the enemy dies and when a teammate dies. If we are down 1-2 right off the start of a fight I pull back and regroup. No need to feed and waist time being staggered. Regroup and fight as a team, also if you are the first one to die repeatedly, that’s a you problem and you have to stop that.
The ones I would add is: 1) When you die there's time before getting to the objective again, think about what what happened in that last play and how you could improve it be it positioning or timing. It might not help in this match(depending on what happened) but it will in future ones. 2) Don't swap characters after 50% ult charge. I see so many swap on the late percentages and then their team is 1 ult down for the big fights. 3) Help your team take control of the high ground. It's why Widow battles are so prevalent in higher ranks. Vantage points bring a lot of pressure. 4) Take a break when you stop having fun; hydrate, text a friend, watch a cat video, or play another game for a bit. Comp climbing is easier when you have a positive mindset.
4:25 Yes! I too play Mystery Heroes very often, as I can get used to everything and learn it easier, it's also quite fun! For example, I just had an amazing Ana game because of it! I would recommend! 😊
👏🏻 If I had my way, Every Overwatch player would watch this video! I'm no pro, but the things he's saying are literally the SAME things I find myself telling people in team chat over and Over during games! 👏🏻
to learn each individual hero and what they did, i played mystery heroes. not only was it fun, but it rewards you for staying alive with an ult that helps your team, and punishes you by resetting your ult back 15%. one-tricks should also play mystery heroes cuz there's 42 HEROES STOP PLAYING ONLY 1 HERO CUZ YOU'RE TOO SCARED TO TOUCH ANYONE ELSE
Well I could add some too. But hey, if you get Zenyetta debuff just hide somewhere a couple of seconds. Also don't expect even godlike healer can heal you if you have Sombra hack and Zenyetta discord on you! You need to hide, otherwise you gonna melt in second by Sombra and/or others with line of sight. Also if you hear "Personne n'échappe à mon regard." don't show your ass if you can for 10seconds!
as someone playing as long as you (and also being gold/plat xD atleast when I still played ranked...) I appreciate you giving these tipps to newer and inexperienced players ^^ and for the last tipp: This is exactly how I got familiar with all heros ingame, I played a shitton of mystery heroes. oh and another tipp for new players (tying into your last tipp) don't become a one trick pony, learn atleast a few different heores in your favourite role (and maybe a few in the other roles too). and I would love to play a few games with you sometime (even if its pretty unlikely that I meet you in a random match xD)
Be humble and show sportsmanship. Flamming your own teammates won't accomplish anything. Someone players maybe new, and would like to have constructive criticism and improve on their skills. Share something of what can be improved and hey, bring out some good tips or suggest a character swap that would be efficient for that players playstyle.

Do not be afraid to swap, especially Tank Role. I'd rather have a tank with 0 kills and 30,000 mitigation if it means we win.
Mindset is probably the most important. You have more chance to win with a good and positive mindset than a bad and negative one.
