I just had the Banks ad pop up in my Facebook feed. Naturally, I go to TH-cam to look up installation and reviews. That's how I landed here. I have a 2019 Rebel. All I've done so far is Mopar intake and Borla exhaust. But, with the creation of my own TH-cam channel I have some projects to do. This is one of them. Have you done any kind of tuning at all?

@@venomrebel2020 well, I don't want to go too deep into mods on the Rebel but it would be nice to just get a little more hp. I just need to do some research for the best options for the bucks. I also have a Ducati Panigale with light performance mods but lots of carbon fiber. I'm hoping to get the bulk of my Restomod VW Beetle project moving. All of these are "channel-worthy content" but I'm not trying to drain my 401k. Know what I mean?
@@venomrebel2020my 2019 Ram 1500 Hemi had the hemifever tune using the Diablo i3 tuner. Super well worth the mod. Thing is you don’t need a throttle controller because the tuner has one built in and you can change the sensitivity down to the percent 0%-100% lol. I only came on here for the banks review because my new 2023 Ram 1500 doesn’t have a tuner available for it yet. Once a tuner is available for my year Ram I’m selling my Banks.
It’s really cool when you want pedal response. I leave it stock in the winter, and most of the time honestly. It opens doors though that a stock truck can’t.
I have the Diablo Platum tuner with dash screen and unlocked PCM. It has the option to change the "throttle-response-time", and I have it set to the max. It's awesome, but the pedal is still a bit spongy. Do you know if I can use the Pedal Monster with my Diablo Tuner for a better response?
Just picked up a basic bish 23 Big Horn Sport… 5.7 eTorque… with 3.92’s and anti-spin in the butt. I ordered the Pedal Monster before seeing this. What could go wrong? I’m low key shooting for mid 14’s to be within a second of the Charger R/T I traded for Gary the Stormtrooper.
The phone controls it, yes through Bluetooth. Or you could use an iDash, which monitors vehicle parameters as well as controls the pedal monster. Thanks for watching.
My understanding of a throttle body is that aftermarket parts are modded to be wider to allow more air into the engine. To see full benefits you would also need to tune the ECM since I understand that fuel injectors are controlled here. Adding more air isn’t enough if you don’t also add more fuel? Regardless the pedal would still be held back by the factory settings unless you had a way to tune that also in the ECM. I am intrigued by tuners for this truck, but haven’t felt the need to invest in one. Yet!
@@venomrebel2020 right on! I mean I thought you could install one without needing a Tune. But tune is recommended to get more HP. But I know adding one of did all this as I just seen it from a few peoples videos that’s why I asked why not a Throttle body. But this is a cheaper way to get that responsiveness people want without tuning as well.
@@venomrebel2020 there’s also the Pulsar Edge too. I forgot to mention. Just hooks up to your ECM in the engine bay. Plug and play basically without having to do a tune. Adds HP and Torque. It is recommended if you use the Performance Mode with or without MDS that you run 91 octane though.
@@JayNoQuarterReagan I have seen the Pulsar. Some guys have reported codes with it... not sure how much of that's user error or if it's gotten better. I was looking at Diablosport.
@@venomrebel2020DO NOT get the pulsar. It is pure garbage. Get the Diablo sport tune. I used the i3 tune because I didn’t care to have a separate display mounted to my dash. Really unneeded unless you wanna be fancy. After you get the Diablo i3 tuner buy the hemifever custom tunes and upload it to the tuner then into your Ram. You’ll be super happy you did. Trust me I’m a super OCD skeptical guy. No reliability issues. The throttle controller is nothing compared to an actually tuner.

Thanks! Carven R replaces the stock muffler. Had it welded on though I think they make a bolt on also.

just keep bluetooth on , you can have the app running in the back and just put youtube or spotify and enjoy the setting you left on your pedal monster
