Fantastic job you did restoring the old heater. It looks much better and it works like a charm too. You also got it a little quieter, because at first when you tried to run it, the fan was a bit noisy. Excellent work as usual.
🤨 - the ceramic insulator plates for the heater element are not usually painted but left bare ~ due to the risk of the paint burning off and they have been designed to not be painted, you forgot a part ~ the impeller shroud, and the neon lamp should be replaced = it is oxidising, a form of failure and won’t be much visible, normally, when new an orange neon bulb is clear with the electrodes visible and you didn’t test the overheat thermostat [self-reseting thermal fuse] by obstructing the impeller and causing the element to glow orange (like what happened at the beginning of this video when you pre-tested it before restoration) and should trip the thermal fuse ~ otherwise it is a fire hazard ⚠️

Wow, this was an amazing restore. Glad to see people cherishing old devices.❤❤
Thank you very much, the heater will be used and will certainly work for a long time to come.

Переключатель разобрать надо было.
Nice. Did you intentionally leave off the fan shroud?
I forgot to install the fan shroud
