Shore Jigging the Rocks || Wollongong

My friend Has and I went to camp in the middle of winter in Shellharbour. Aside from the biting cold it was actually pretty nice but we were both disorganized so we werent exactly comfortable so cut the trip short, this day however was great.
The swell was a bit angrier than we expected so we had to retreat to a cliff, but man did we hook up on a lot of fish!
we finished up mid arvo to go to camp and cook. (2pm)

yeah, I agree, watching the footage back I really should have stayed on the calm side OR found a different ledge. Watching it I realise I made a bad risk based decision

TBH it is like 7.5 out of 10, prepared with salt and pepper it is just a mild fish flavor and hard to really like or dislike. Keep in mind whenever I keep something I bleed + gut + clean it immediately so the quality of my catch is always as good as it can be.

Jig it up! Double the salmon. Top stuff. Rock cods are ok eating but not my favourite

I had it once but it didnt really have a lot of flavour, and you get so little for your effort!
