- Hello today we are going to look at the iRobot Roomba i4+. This is the NEWEST model released from iRobot. The Roomba i4+ is identical to the i3+ but has 20% longer battery life. Everything else is very similar. Is this NEW Robot Vacuum wirth it?

Replaced my 960 with an I3+. I think the navigation is better at night with the floor tracking, it can get up in my shag which the 960 couldn't. It is a lot better returning to the base The only issue sometimes it spends 75% of the time in one room.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I liked the 960 and I think the airflow is better since the Vacuum motor is located inside the dustbin. From what I experienced the i3 does better at tracking where it left off, but if you physically move it, it may loose track where it is at.
Will you be keeping this I really hope so and love the video and I love how you put some of your robots in the room too

Hello so the e4/e5 are less noisy than the 655 since they moved the vacuum motor inside the body of the robot.

@@mariolachance2146 Both do ok with hardwood floors. From what I tested from using the e5 and 694, the 694 did a better job because of the different bristle design. If you don’t mind switching to a different brand look at the Roborock S4. It one of the best cleaners for smooth flooring and you can find them for around $300

I bought the roborock s5 max 3 days ago and i am very happy but today the sale was on and the same price for the s5 (350$) max there is iRobot Roomba i4+ (360$) what would do recomand better
Well if you want to have the ability to connect with a self emptying system than the iRobot a better option. Also the iRobot is better with long pet hair, easier to clean. The Roborock offers more in the App and has better navigation and mapping. Good for more complex floor plans.

Yeah so the reason Yeedi sent me this is they want a head to head video with their Yeedi Vac Station. Yeedi did this with their K650 and Roomba 675

Hello, well the Roborock S7 has more features over the i4+ like smart mapping, Lidar Navigation, vibrating mopping system and additional App features. I can’t vouch for the Roborock self emptying system since it not available yet, but iRobot been making a well designed self emptying system for their models. Probably the best system currently with the dust bin sensor. So if you want a robot that can handle a large mess the Roomba are a better option. If you want more features than get a Roborock.
I'm my experience roombas have bad battery life and cleaning skills and navigation. The dirt sensor is annoying if you don't have a self emptying bin because even if the bin is half full, it will not vacuum until you empty it. Even the original roborock s5 is better in almost every way. I got mine for $150 from Amazon used. Came like new.
@@Arman-sr7wb so if I purchase roborok s7 will be the right decision right? Actually I was thinking only because it has its autobin system as u know no roborok has auto empty bin.
They never clean close to the bin something they need to work on
Yeah, they leave too much space around the bin. I think iRobot too worried about the self emptying system getting knocked around.

Nope Yeedi sent me this Unit, they wanted to provide this model to go head to head with their Yeedi Vac Station. Will have the head to head video soon.
