    We have the same exact Roomba and I will tell you from what I've seen with two cats and one dog they are not tangle free this is not a complaint It's still an amazing robot

    Sucks that you have to pay an additional $45 for a new dustbin if you want to spend $260 for an optional self emptying bin base.

    I bought the exact same model - i3 evo and I don’t have the mapping functionality which was the whole reason I bought the new i3 evo.

    I have the original i3. does my machine have these abilities with the software updates or is the EVO completely different? What exactly is EVO?

      I'm assuming no...check your model number and then check roombas site for comparison.

    Just bought the i3evo+ and also don’t have the smart maps again the whole reason i bought also??? Tried to call and the guy was very unhelpful and rude! Product software is 1.2.31
