It’s crazy how good xenoblade games are. Out of the original chronicles, X, and 2, xenoblade 2 is by far the worst one imo but I’ve still played through it twice and love it
My jaw literally dropped during that second round chain attack. I've only played 1 and 3 (I saw a whole playthrough of 2 and while it looks alright I don't really have the time, money, or willingness to play 2 all the way through) and I can only dream of getting chain attack damage like that
If you've watched a whole playthrough of 2 and played 1 and 3 you've definitely at least got the time for it. If you want to play it or not is another question
@@ASquared544 I'm just poking fun. Honestly xc2 had me held so easily. I liked that it felt a bit more light hearted for a little bit, and still felt intense when it could. When it came out i barely put it down. These games are so damn good

As much as I love this game. If you don't have the right characters with the right elements your going to suck. Spending a ton of time unlocking new companions and then deleting a ton of them because they really lack the element your looking for sure makes this game suck. That and if you already know how to do large combos but cannot do them do to lack of elements or your not far enough in the story line also sucks. That all being said. I love doing monster combos but haven't been able to do monsters like that due to elemental problems is a bigger! This sure is a fun game when you get leveled up. Sadly, not very user friendly for people that are new to this game. Tough learning curve!
Any element is fine, I've done full bursts with the any elements I wanted to it just takes longer. Also elemental bursts are u optimal, 2 or 3 orbs is enough
I'm not sure of that's needed, but when I bought the dlc, it opens a path in the game. It leads you to a challenge mode. If you can overcome these, you can get nice rewards. Like, Shulk and Fiora as blades ! :)
Finishing a challenge mission in the DLC enables you to use Fiora and Shulk as blades also there is Elma which serves as the super boss in this game.. Once you beat her you can unlock her also.
@@williaml3025 It's possible it isn't canon but after playing Future Connected and Shulk's weapon is called Monado Replica EX or REX, it raises some eyebrows. Well, Shulk's presence is not canon in the first place, but there's a theory that can explain it. In this theory Alvis/Ontos acts for Bionis&Mechonis universe in the same way as Conduit/Gate/Zohar does for Alrest/Earth. As Conduit grants its powers to Aegises, Alvis grants his powers to Meyneth, Zanza and, later, Shulk, who all act as "Aegises". Therefore, all three Monados from Xb1 are just "blade weapons" for its respective users. Shulk "drives" Zanza for entire game before Mechonis Core, but later creates his own Monado.
