They killed soliders in multiple side quests, also there’s a container in Thurbin Island that requires you to kill every Agnian on the island to get it. Honestly I wanna know their canon kill count cus they definitely said to not kill lmao
0:26 It's actually not playing on easy mode that does this, but rather just Fiona's level being high enough. The effects of your chain orders and hero orders scale with your level, so have it high enough and Fiona's hero order allows you to squeeze out that second additional one.
I believe its a combination of both difficulty and character level. I couldn't get 2 round extensions while playing on hard mode and I haven't seen any say they've gotten 7 rounds on hard difficulty. Haven't tested normal mode.

Hard Mode also reduces all chain attack damage increases to 2/5th of the natural increase when completing an order, with an exception to the starting value which is instead half of what it normally is. I wasn't able to see anything which implies Hard Mode directly reduces Brave Order effects when I was documenting my stuff, but I did notice that brave orders with roughly equal damage sums did overall have much lower damage output on hard compared to easy/normal as a whole, so I'd gander Hard also modifies that-- that or I really wasn't watching my crits.
@@cldpt In chain attacks too, even if she can't give you extra turns, being able to reactivate 3 characters right off the bat on the first turn can set you up for some good TP scores later on.

I actually think you should've done Noah's as the last chain order. It bypassing any defense leads you better then the attack buff, either way through this is incredibly impressive and I'd like to see your build

You might of done more damage if you did the Eunie/Taion Ouroboros order last since the Ouroboros skill that increases damage from number of buffs on party from Eunie affects Ouroboros order as well, not to mention you can transfer a weaker version of the skill to Taion

I really like how Soulhacker has incredible buffs that can be used throughout the chain attack but I do want a hero that focuses on that niche rather than just Soulhacker. Debuff heroes could be interesting as well, especially if they have a way to pause debuff durations similar to Glittering Melody for buffs.
My man here got hit with every possible move AND THE KITCHEN SINK, and still stayed alive long enough to let you rack up 400 mil damage. o7 for that soldier
As long as you select a pair no matter the order, they give you Ouroboros Order for that pair. Example: 1. You select Taion 2. Noah 3. Mio 4. Noah&Mio's Order appears, but you skip it 5. Eunie 6. Taion&Eunie's Order appears Btw you can only do this when Fiona is in party, as any other Heroes won't give you chance to select 2 pairs in one go.

Fiona is the most broken Hero in the game. She does nothing but provide buffs to your party members and gives you extra rounds on your Chain Attack. She's pretty nutty.
@Squire Ashera is fantastic for Chain Attacks but just kinda "good" for everything else. Tanks have never really been balanced well in Xenoblade and can't keep aggro when your Attackers are doing big numbers. Ashera's no exception, though she does slightly better than the rest, I guess.
You could've had even more damage if you picked Noah as the last order since ignoring defense by 100% + noah's and mio's ouroboros order would do more damage. The best Ouroboros order in terms of damage would have been grand design from taion and eunie.
Couldn't you apply the buffs before starting the chain? Much harder might be to apply the Launch before the chain as well, but perhaps might be possible if you had one of your chars at level 1 or something
Yes it would be better to get all those before starting the chain attack. However, I have 15 enemies killing all my party members one at a time over and over again. Realistically its near impossible to get buffs before starting the chain attack
Hm, I wrote off Bleed at first because it's resistable by enemies and only damages once per 2 seconds, on top of there being accessories for giving 50%+ damage buffs on Blaze but I'll have to look at it again and I figured a ton of healers would be involved but I've been using Thaumaturge for a while for a damage buff during chain attacks (I'm guessing Desperate Charge+Battle Pheromone is just a significantly better version of this), as well as Incursor+Cross Impact+Aerial Slash (Taion being based DPS as usual)
Fiona also recharges two Chain Attacks when chosen third on Normal (and likely even Hard). The other number I like raising stupidly high is the TP gauge. Using (abusing?) Segiri, I somehow reached 448%.
Fiona doesn’t recharge enough for 2 extra rounds on hard mode. Haven’t tested normal mode. The reason why is because easy mode has a 1.5 modifier for chain attack build up. This works on Fiona’s chain order and gets her a second round whereas on hard mode it’s actually a 0.75 mod. Using Segiri is fun but unfortunately, going insanely beyond 200% doesn’t increase damage ratio any further than just reaching 200%

There's so many enemies in that area that its not too surprising. Use enough tactics and it wouldn't be tol bad
When you finish the game you can play the New Game+ which keeps your level. In case your not joking, im leaving this information 🤓
You also have the ability to lower your level before even entering new game.
just focus on one enemy at the time, you will build up after 2-3 them died. Plus there's a accessories that make chain attack charge faster.
