Before even watching Im gonna say; *I have the exact same number of names.* Im Swedish. It's normal here to have both your grandfathers' first names (grandma's' if you're female), then your first name, then a middle name, then your last name. All of the names are legally allowed to be used.
I'm Swedish too and I just have three names including my surname. My middle name is my grandma's middle name. My first name is taken from an older relative. I've never heard of anyone else here whose name works the same way as yours.

Can we just pause for a moment to appreciate that his hair and beard "were both long enough to tuck into his belt." That is notable both in the amount of upkeep it requires, and also that it's literally impossible for many people to do unless they're genetically able. About "Wulfric" and "Beowulf":
The old and middle English languages had a strange quirk of language much like modern idioms called "kennings." They basically were a kind of compounded noun that stood in place of another. For example, "whale way" and "sail road" meant "ocean" or "sea." Given this information (and with the help of our class study of the text in 9th grade), [we] determined that "Beowulf" is itself a kenning. If you translate it to modern English, "Beo" means "bee" and "wulf" means... well, wolf. In this scenario, however, a wolf is not just the literal animal but (from what I remember) something that has much enthusiasm and passion. So, a "thing that has much enthusiasm and passion about bees" would either be 1.) an apiarist (which is ludicrous on the face of it) or 2.) a bear (Winnie-the-Pooh, anyone?). That's what I was going to say. It's a Monty Python reference. And there's still a very strong story connection: The Life of Brian is a spoof of the life of Jesus - the originator of the Holy Grail (which was another Monty Python movie), and a python is of course a snake, and snakes figure prominently in the HP story, Slytherin, parselmouth, the basilisk, Nagini, etc. Was there a character named Monty somewhere in the HP books? If not, it's because it would have made it too obvious. And of course, Voldy himself was both very snake-like, and very dragon-like, snakes and dragons being at least somewhat, and not insignificantly, alike.

In summary, yes the British Isles share an etymological root with Bretony, but no British person would call themselves a Breton and no Breton would call themselves British. Culturally the Bretons are closer to the Welsh than the English. Geographically and Nationally the Bretons are French.
