Hi Brian. I am Thomas from Germany . I like your Videos so much. Thanks for your sharing the details. I am an Owner on a 2023 MY. Your Videos help me to realized my Wrap Projekt. Big gratings.
I had to have my rear camera replaced last week on my Nov 22 built 23 MYP. They replaced it with the new camera and daaaamn, it’s so clear in comparison. I’m getting the repeaters replaced with the new ones next week. So awesome.
I am certainly no paint expert but on all the modern cars I have owned that had body colour plastic pieces the shade never quite matched that of the metal. I see the same on many cars on the road so I don't think it is just a Tesla issue. My current white Nissan Leaf is no exception. Wrapping seems like a great solution keep up the good work 🙂
I love that color of wrap? I want to see video of you getting the car in the garage for the wrap. Plus where is the video of the 911 extraction from the third seat? Do you put ceramic on top of wrap? Duh I just answered my own question. So is this a side business for you? The wrap, install is kinda pricey.
Okay great wrap main question is can we purchase HW4 cam and place it on. My 23 MYP factory date is November im sure I don’t have HW4 neither do I have sensor holes
I was wondering how much wrap material would I need to wrap my Model Y. Is 25ft x 5ft enough or 50ft x 5ft? I just love that purple look. I might get the VVivid+ Ultra Gloss Candy Purple to cover the Multi-coat red. Google says it just need 15 feet
First of all ViVid vinyl sucks. A rule of thumb in how much vinyl to get is buy the full roll. Normally that is 75 feet. You should have some left over but I have has issues with the vinyl or messed up on a panel and had to use more than I thought. You need 60 feet minimum to wrap the Y.
I think Tesla should fund this video for their techs!
How to prep for a vinyl wrap. #1. Email Brian. #2. Bring vehicle to Brian. #3 Pick up wrapped vehicle from Brian.
I like it!
