I just bought a 2021 GLC 300 but I was told that the Mercedes navigation system is not working as there was a shortage of chips so I have to run navigation through my iphone Apple maps. So... I am confused about "hey Mercedes" functions when it comes to navigation. Can you help???

With the car, I could select my favorite (pre-selected) radio stations from the screen directly in front of me. Is there a way to do this with the 2021 GLA 250 SUV? Other than using Voice Commands, is there a convenient way to choose pre-selected radio stations? I have the same question for phone numbers, which in my previous car I could easily select from the screen directly in front of the driver. Finally, can you tell me if I can use Voice Command to choose a pre-selected radio station (favorite?) without having to know the call numbers, which is what you do in the video. Can I use Voice Command for pre-selected radio station #1, #2, etc, or by using call letters? WBUR, WGBH, etc.?
Hello, presets can be saved and found on the main RADIO screen. There is a favorite list for the contacts in the main phone menu. As far as I have seen there is no way to use voice commands to select a preset number or call by letters. Thanks for commenting!
I’m loving your videos Garrett. We’re back in lockdown i Melbourne, so I’ve got the time. I just took delivery of and E200 coupe and can’t get Hey Mercedes to open the sunroof. I see people say rollerblind here so I tried that too amd it didn’t work. I have 2 questions. 1. Does this work on E class? 2. Is Hey Mercedes calibrated to National terms and accents? In Australia rollerblind isn’t a thing and I’m wondering if I have to speak in UK or US English to make it work because many words are different which might explain why she says she can’t help. Also, can I get an Australian voice like you can do with Siri? I asked her and she “can’t help me with that right now lol.
Glad to hear you are enjoying the videos and congrats on your new E Class! The shade that covers the sunroof will open via voice ONLY if you have the largest sunroof (Panoramic Sunroof). If you have the standard sunroof this feature will not work. In either variation of the E Class the actual sunroof will not open via audible command. When using the command you should say "Open Roller Sun Blind". Unfortunately I have not heard of "Hey Mercedes" having national terms/accents that can be calibrated. Additionally at this point there is no way to change the voice of "Hey Mercedes". Thanks for commenting!

You do not need to go to the navigation screen first to use the satnav. If you are listening to music or the radio just say "Hey Mercedes" " Navigate to ( your destination " and it will start from there
I remember correctly: press the left home key, scroll to nav using the left roller pad and you should see an option for it. You may have to select nav first. Use the middle panel. LMK
My command to either open the sunblind and open the sunroof gets a reply as ‘The option is not available to be activated by voice command’. And it’s a 2020 AMG car model. Is there anything that I am missing out?
@@amg4616 At this point the A-Class models do not have the ability to control the sun blind using voice. We are hoping a future over the air update will allow this functionality. The A45S is awesome! How do you like it so far?

Yes you can! All you have to do it pop the key out of the fob and manually lock the doors with the key and it will stay locked and running while you run in somewhere. I do this all the time!

What exact model is your vehicle? Certain vehicles will not complete this task at the moment. Thanks for the comment!
