No, its not easy to overlock Midori. She is brilliant. They (almost) always take turn soloing. And they are so different. Both are brilliant. And every time you wonder what each of them will do. And then also wait for the harmonizing part. Its so obvious that they are two. The only one that has a back seta in Lovebites is Miho, and they have changed that now in the new Lovebites with Fami.
Nah, I don't think I have ever overlooked Midori. I always look forward to the heat she's bringing, both in her playing and stage presence!
It's unfair for one band to have two guitarists this good.

The most metal way to introduce the members of the band. One recent song which Midori specifically mentioned that she composed the guitar riff with drop D is "We are the Resurrection" from their latest LP. She wanted the riff to be crunchy and groovy. There is no MV or good quality LIVE video on YT yet, but do check it out since it's an excellent track.
Miho/bass, the founder and person who put this band together before she left for personal reasons will always be loved and missed by the Wolfpack (fanbase) and it is bitter sweet seeing her in the older shows. Fami the new phenom bassist at 21 brought her own style to add to the band (no she is not filling Miho's shoes, she brought her own pair). Since her departure you will notice more shine time for the bassist in the new band or at least it appears that way IMHO. The M&M show in all its glory here, while polar opposites they have taught each other and influenced each other and practice away from the band by themselves chasing perfection. Midori is a world class musician and she has taught Miyako a lot (Miyako is self taught from 18 on) and they have both made each other better. Lest we forget the little Napoleon stage general Asami and the little beast behind that pounding kit Haruna are the equal of the other members. My friend swears that this much talent in one band should be illegal.....LOL
