Awesome review ! I just bought mine and you are right about the onboard keyboard but I would recommend this as a 2nd device or light duty 1st device. I have a Dell window machine and Lenovo C340 15.6 chromebook bought are amazing but neither travels well. So far this travels well and is less weight for working out of the office or traveling.
100% agree as a second device. I recently took a trip to Texas and it was perfect for the airport and flights. I hate to play the age card, but I definitely still think this is a device meant for older (18+) who will respect and take care of.
Hi Will how are you it’s nice to see you too thanks very much for teaching us about The Lenovo Duet 5 Chromebook I really appreciate you doing that it’s great fun to learn things isn’t it. You’re a fantastic teacher Will that’s a compliment for you in return my friend 🤝
The keyboard is removable. Why would you think it's supposed to flip around behind the display for tablet use? Also, the pen is not supposed to magnetically attach at the slot on the back cover. There's supposed to be a holder that mechanically attaches to that slot, and then the pen is stored in the holder (7 months after your video, this may be clearer than it was back then). Personally, I think any pen storage that's not internal is a poor solution, and Lenovo's intended pen storage solution is no better than what you were expecting. Lastly, I agree that the protruding hinge on the back is an annoyance - it prevents the tablet from laying flat on a table. A simple solution would be a foot at each corner, that sticks out as much as (or slightly more than) the hinge - allowing the tablet to stay flat on a table without rocking.
He did mention he had a surface. Surface devices allow you to fold the keyboard back to switch to tablet mode and flip it back forward to return to laptop mode without disconnecting. Honestly wish more devices copied the surface ability to flip back so you I don’t have an extra piece hanging about when you are using it as a tablet.
If it's going to be your only device, then maybe yes. I think there are better Chromebooks at a lower price point. Also if the screen ever breaks you'll have a costly repair on your hands.... At least comparatively speaking.

Awesome! I think as long as you know what you are getting and are responsible it's a good device.

Would you recommend as a primary system for someone just using it for google suite apps, sheets, docs, slides etc?
