Best video ever Dan. Raw. I have an 06’ Roush stage 3 with some spicy upgrades that I might drive a couple of times a year.usually on a sunny Sunday, morning love the car, sounds great
Thanks for sharing 2 of the 5 senses with us! You must be getting use to the POV camera. With a car the has some blind spots, Texas back roads are a must.
I have one… amazing driving experience. (It was on that fraudsters website in Southern California about a year ago.. thank you for bringing that to light)
Simply brilliant! This is a much better video than the dealership ones. Loved this style. 80 seems as though you're just pootling along those roads. At what sort of number do the door/roof panels start to flutter? Or is everything still quite tight >120-ish? More of this please.
Dan, I keep forgetting to ask what you have for a radar detector. I just got a new to me '17 Grand Cherokee limited, altitude package, and I need a new fuzz buster
Nice drive (vindicating the clown shoe one recently). While watching it reminded me of this one, although the GT40 has a lower redline : th-cam.com/video/NYYA2jE3Ze0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=urw73EkJxgyRyGxO
Men will see this and say “hell yeah”. Hell yeah
LOL Hell yeah!
Hell yeah brother
This is why I'll never buy a new car again. This is how cars are meant to be....raw and exciting. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
You bet
Such a cool car. It sounds awesome and just screams 'Murica!
Hell yeah

Appreciate it

Yeah, the POV cam is a bit annoying to use but it does produce a cool viewpoint.
Very happy to see you still have it.
Yeah, me too. :)
That must be one of the most visceral experiences.
It's pretty amazing
I was wondering when the speedo would get blurred! Excellent!
To be fair it's not very accurate. Lol

Ah yes well hopefully you didn't have any issues with your transaction
That car always makes me smile😊
Me too! :)

Glad you liked it!
How can you not get wood driving that car? The analog rawness is incredible. PS: nice job rev matching the downshifts.
Lol if you get wood you can't turn.
Rip it Dan! Effin' RIP IT!!!!!
Hell yes
kick ass.
Oh yes.
No narration this time Dan? It's nice to hear the details of how you aquired the car etc.
I did in a previous video when I bought it over a year ago. 😁
@normalguysupercar ok. I'll check it out. 😆
Dan, what are the odds that any potential car thief couldn't figure out which switches to flip so they could steal it? 😆
Eh, not very challenging. It's a pretty simple car.
I need to get me one of those detachable steering wheels for my Prius
Ha!
Beautiful! Is it a Superformance or ERA ?
Superformance

At the 8 minute mark, were you adjusting the ride height? Curious!!!
Yes. It has a front axle lifter. It's pretty noisy.
First Class Car. I am a fan of Huracans and C8s, but a Ford GT is the pinnacle.
It's pretty amazing
Is the seating position reclined back? The ride doesn’t appear as harsh as I would expect. Perhaps Dan is absorbing it all…
You're pretty reclined in it, and it rides surprisingly well. I think part of that is the big sidewalls on the tires.
Super cool!!!!
Thanks!
It feels like like you’re locking yourself in a coffin if something really goes wrong
I mean, that's not totally inaccurate.
That car was for real men on bias ply tires
I want to race this. Now!
Right?
Think of the drivers who raced these things at Le Mans! Basically the equivalent of paper mache for crash protection if something went wrong… eeek!
Yeah, they had some huge balls.
SWEEEEEEET!
Oh yes.
You're recording all of the nefarious activities!? 🤣
Yes
@ ♥️
I love the look of these cars but that looks cramped and a bit too raw for me at my age (57).
It's not bad once you're in... Getting in and out sucks.

Nice
Nothing 1965 about that car….
Yeah it's only on the title.
Actually not
@@Splitting_Atoms lol ok.
And California wants to ban these cars?! Troglodytes. I think you are supposed to mount the camera above the rim, not in front of your eyes 😂
Above the hat and all you can see is the top of the windshield and roof.
