Thanks again Mike for visiting. I'm glad you enjoyed the GT40. It's truly one of the most incredible driving experiences and I'm glad to have had the opportunity to share it with you!
I thought Superformance only sold them as a kit. So they will build one from top to bottom for a customer? No matter, this one is an incredible build! I'd take this over a Ferrari any day of the week. At 2,300 pounds that's less than VW Beetle. This beast brings new meaning to the words Fast and Furious! This is another great video Mike. Save the Wave.
Actually I think it's the other way around, you cannot buy it as a kit from Superformance, only as a built rolling chassis. You still have to have the power train put in.
Years ago I got to set in a real one, I'm so tall that my head was above the roof and was unable to close the door, not even close. They are very small inside and ultra low to the ground, as in only 40" tall. A good friend has a newer Ford GT, even in that I had to lay sideways and put my head over on his shoulder to close the door, no way I could drive it like that.

@@normalguysupercar Interesting.
Congrats on 75K, Mike!
@@doughooks7411 Thank you Doug! 😊💪
You must have felt like going back to the E-Ray would be like a super plush Mercedes.
Dan has some of the coolest toys! Even if they do make ya sweat.
Thank you!
@@normalguysupercar Coolest toy box too!
I'd love to see it on the track.

You see plenty of Cobra replicas on the road but that is a step up fr. It looks like there's actually room for you're head without the bubble. Thanks
Absolutely the BEST livery for this car.
wicked fun! just a couple dudes havin fun and making vids. cool man
Mike great last 2 videos keep them coming
Surprised that you didn't pick up a county mounty 😊 Fun to watch.
I’d like to know about that short lift he’s got.
Thanks for another great video.
Unlike that old school race car man awesome
That car has a lot of power for how much it weights
That is krazy
I thought that A/C was an option. I know it is on other "aftermarket" GT40's.
Beautiful car! Might want to blur/block the mph tach in editing though…
Did you like driving the Ford better or the Ferrari? I don’t think you told us either way?
ever driven a real Grand Sport?
So if you don't mind me asking, how much did this set you back? Was thinking of buying one next year after the Crypto bull market. 😅
NOT a real one
