My top 5 hardest characters to use 1) Gorilla Grodd - He is by far the hardest character to use for me due to his limited combo pool and the fact that you literally have to master his cancels and down, forward, 1 jump attack. Also he gains additional attacks that you'd need to remember once his trait is used. He is also very slow. The best Grodds I see are jumping the entire match and consistently use back, 2 as their combo chains. 2) Cheetah - She has way too many combos to keep track of and same deal as Grodd, I see the best Cheetahs always jumping/using her jump attack (forgot the input) and plus she literally has a command grab that requires your opponent to be crouching but she barely has any low attacks. 🤔 3) Captain Cold - Usually zoners are cheese characters for me but what is with this character? His trait is super punishable and his specials are SO SLOW. I get that he is a damage over time character (I guess) but I dont want to wait half a match to unlock a move that is easily avoidable and barely satisfying to confirm. Plus besides his projectile and low special that freezes, I almost never want to meter burn his attacks. Also he has a lame combo pool which isn't rare for zoners but I'd think he'd make up for it with better zoning. Is he like a stall character or something? What's stopping me from playing Sub Zero instead? 4) Cyborg - Again. Why? What were they thinking making a zoner that sucks at zoning? He seems like a harassing character but then I forget this is a freaking fighting game. His trait is slow and super punishable, his meter burn projectile adds another projectile that goes off into the middle of nowhere. Why would this be good? If you're thinking they are going to roll escape mid combo so you meter burn it so it still hits? 🤔 Idk Also who the hell has time to charge his specials? 🤔 I'm waiting... No literally. I'm waiting for him to release his special so I can dodge it and we can continue fighting. Also his ↗,➡ is very inconsistent for me to use. I'll land it when I don't even want to and then it won't work when I'm actually trying to do it. Wtf? 5) Black Manta - He isn't too bad but his character trait takes some practice. It's very punishable for zoners and has a slow start up so you can't really use it to evade and punish with a grappling hook or something. Also stringing it with his back 1, 1, up 3 is hard to pull off if you're going for massive damage. I can usually pull off the first part but never really get to the part where you hit them twice in the air, fall to the ground first, and finish with a combo right before they hit the ground. 😐 Most of the time I can only get two hits and just have to back, forward, 2 or down, back, 1. These are just my hardest characters to use from the ones I've tried. I have yet to play Atom, Ivy, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Hellboy who all look like difficult characters to pretty much master. Please do not comment something cancerous like, " You casual noob!!! Those characters are all easy as hell!!! You just suck!" At least I gave my reasons behind why they are hard for me. Besides, I am good with a few other characters like Bane, Atrocitus, Scarecrow, Batman, Black Adam, Red Hood, Robin and Brainiac. 🙂

Jaylen *Straightoutda80s* Brown I personally agree with your list, the funniest part though is I'm a Grodd main, and yes most of my time is spent jumping but it's a lot more calculated then that lmao. With Grodd it takes a lot of time and pain and tears to get good with him, but I'm quite proud of where I've got. I've made it to top 1000 in ranked with only Grodd and top 100 in player with him. He's very execution based and his cancels are a pain but in the end he's fun if you're willing to out the time in. Plus you get to fuck with your opponents head the whole match. I love using stampede cancels because I see so many people punish stampede with meter burn back 3, and when I cancel they've completely wasted a bar and I can sometimes get a punish off if I spaced it right. I get sm good hate daily about how they didn't know what to do and it's amazing. Anyways I say give Grodd a go in practice if you want a fun character rather then a basic top tier one.
I'm greener than Green Arrow's hood when playing this game but my favorite character to play as is Scarecrow because of a multitude of reasons, namely he is fun to play as. His combos are also easy to use, he looks cool and he's voiced by Robert Englund who delivers some of the sickest intro lines in the game.
I just started playing the game like 3 days ago, just finished the main story and my fav characters to play were Blue Beetle, supergirl, and Wonder Woman. I liked playing black canary too, but I really hated playing as Batman, not really sure why I just wasn’t very good with him.
Idk why but I feel like catwoman is the best for me. Her combos are so similar to kitana's moveset from MKX which makes sense because they both literally rely on cutting up their opponents 😂😂
I love Teen Titans the animated show and Teen Titans Rebirth so I'm gonna start with Starfire. She has a simple movesey, teaches zoning and well...she is pretty.
I started as Joker. Simply because Joker is my favorite DC character haha. Next I did Batman, then Harley Quinn, and now I just got superman to level 30. Not sure who I should go for next haha
I may maybe be 1 year later, but as a Flash main i disagree, doing combos with his trait and the timing on them are very very difficult, is not very difficult to use but is not the easiest, but everyone has their own opinion so whatever
Total newb here, but I've been maining Batman. Flash seems really good as well, his inputs are simple enough, but I see what you're saying about the timing with trait active. That plus my fingers aren't quite fast enough yet to reliably complete his normal strings
Green Arrow is criminally underrated. Sometimes I continue to shoot frozen tips and continue bounce attack my opponents over and over 😂, and other times I give them no breathing room with the fire arrows. Tip: at full meter shoot the ice arrow and perform the finisher, never misses 😂 (if you’re quick enough).
When starting off on Injustice 2 the main character I played with the most (and still do) was with Harley Quinn.I'm not an expert at the game so I don't know how to explain her combos or move set,but I'd really recommend her for beginners,I found her really easy and effective to use 🙂
She's effective to use but if the opponent is patient they can easily win. A really good easy character is Catwoman because her moveset is easy. Green Arrow is also easy because of his ability to beat zoners hold his own up close. I would also suggest Cheetah because she's been very easy for me when I've never even played with her before a couple days ago.

Superman is easy to learn but his play style is extremely difficult to learn. It is all about your neutral game and footsies. If you're neutral is mad, you're bad with supes.

Evil Dead The only ones I slightly disagree with are bane and Harley. Both those characters to play EFFECTIVELY do require some skill and quite a bit of practice
I Agree with the list. however i personally find any character to be easy, for me i just have to work on my time because I sadly have a low combo success. I found superman to be annoying to learn though. It is sad because he is my fave DC character and would love to play him in game, but most of the time when I go to combo with him, I accediently cast a special move. I would personally add Black Adam to the list as well. I found him to be pretty easy
I would put aquaman at least at #3 just because of his moveset that is similar to Batman’s, because its really general, jack of all trades, master of none. I main scarecrow now, and i had to spend a super long time learning his combos just because of how aggressive you need to be with him. But overall, I agree with the list.
My easy characters I play that is easier to use. 1.Batman- He is easy has great combos he never can be thrown off balance his batarangs will always save you when you're being zoned and his mini bats are good. 2.Supergirl-Even tho you need to put alot of effort into her combos you can spam and cheap people very easily out wit your opponent specially with her enhanced laser beams. 3.Harley- Harley is way better this time as her hammer is more useful she still have the move play doctor, Now she have hyenas that are life savers for dealing more damage that now she have zoning and they move across the screen. 4.wonder woman- She is another character that turn to a cheapskate when it comes to stopping people in the air or on the ground and her lasso is annoying to get by plus her combos are a step up from Supergirl's so good luck. 5.Blue beetle- He is the most complex on this list but he's moves never gave me any issues because he's one of the best zones since you can spam his sound blast and enhance it if you want his grabs are perfect and he has a combat form which you can quickly switch into.
Started the game last week. Finished all story mode and only played Black Adam since then. Just reached his lv20 today and I'm looking for other characters. Doctor Fate caught my attention bcs of his visuals.
It makes sense for Batman and Superman to be two of the most accessible and balanced characters as they're the characters whom are most popular. Like Mario and Link in Smash
I’d recommend to anyone who reads this to use red hood because of u do his training all the combos on there are really easy to do and really effective for distancing or rushdowns, such as Gotham Stars meter burn for keeping enemies away
I picked Robin right off the bat, because STYLE! I'd recommend 1. Bats. Simple balanced guy with a rushdown focus. 2. Aquaman. Good range, simple plan. 3. Deadshot. Easy. IF YOU ARE SCUM. 4. Sub-Zero. MK transition guy. 5. N/A

The character I started out with was Green Lantern bc he was my main in injustice 1 so I naturally wanted to start out with him in Injustice 2 after him I started to play Flash then I started back getting into Batman bc I was playing him but I stopped bc they changed his play style a little from injustice 1 but I started learning how to do more combos then I started learning combos with Black Adam cuz I was amazed at the amount of damage that he could do then I learned combos with Aquaman and Green Arrow
Thanks buddy. One thing I'd advice when playing this game. If you've played Mortal Kombat before this game. Never compare it, learn it and you enjoy it. However I do think MKX is the best fighting game ever. Though I love DC movies.
Easiest for me is probably my main, Black Manta, couldn't do combos for shit in IJ2 till I started playing as him now I can actually do combos utilising juggling and special move cancels, never been able to do it before for some reason but with him.. Goddamn he needs to come back in IJ3 as main roster, it's all i'm hoping for

Tbh blue beetle should be up there in the top 5 because of how easy he is I mean by just pressing square you just can do so much with no skill. Deadshot takes a lot of skill to be useful not to mention he has to play offense a lot especially in pro play.

I sucked at most of these characters at first, and would call any character I couldn’t play well or that were hard to understand “bad characters”. After going through each characters tutorial in the learn section, I’ve realized almost all of the characters in the game are easy to use. The easiest in my opinions would be: Superman, Batman, Atrocitus, Scarecrow and Bane
I really didn't want to just be a batman main but boy is he just the simplest. It's like picking scorpion in mortal kombat. Also it doesn't help he's the most like my mk main, spawn
In terms of "easiest" superman is really the number one. I get why you put batman higher - because he has so many options that is effective and really to use, but that's the problem - "many options". As for superman, to start playing him all you need to learn is f23 and heat vision, may be super breath too, for extending combos. And unlike batman, his trait is not immediately gone, if you get hit after activating it. You just can't be easier than that.
I would say green lantern is about a medium on difficulty level cause the dude is slow with combos but his abilities really boost him up and his special power isn’t that easy either and you really need that at high levels
id say supergirl is also one of the easier ones her combos are simple yet deal alot of damage and shes espesically powerful when you have a completly epic gear set for her

Black Adam, Leonardo and Aquaman are very easy to use even though I don’t play them a lot. I usually Play as Robin, Dr. fate, Starfire, and Harley Quinn!
Harley Quinn is top tier in my opinion and dr fate is also but I’m not good with him
Superman is easy to learn but his play style is extremely difficult to learn. It is all about your neutral game and footsies. If you're neutral is mad, you're bad with supes.

Evil Dead The only ones I slightly disagree with are bane and Harley. Both those characters to play EFFECTIVELY do require some skill and quite a bit of practice

I Agree with the list. however i personally find any character to be easy, for me i just have to work on my time because I sadly have a low combo success. I found superman to be annoying to learn though. It is sad because he is my fave DC character and would love to play him in game, but most of the time when I go to combo with him, I accediently cast a special move. I would personally add Black Adam to the list as well. I found him to be pretty easy
I would put aquaman at least at #3 just because of his moveset that is similar to Batman’s, because its really general, jack of all trades, master of none. I main scarecrow now, and i had to spend a super long time learning his combos just because of how aggressive you need to be with him. But overall, I agree with the list.
My easy characters I play that is easier to use.
1.Batman- He is easy has great combos he never can be thrown off balance his batarangs will always save you when you're being zoned and his mini bats are good.
2.Supergirl-Even tho you need to put alot of effort into her combos you can spam and cheap people very easily out wit your opponent specially with her enhanced laser beams.
3.Harley- Harley is way better this time as her hammer is more useful she still have the move play doctor, Now she have hyenas that are life savers for dealing more damage that now she have zoning and they move across the screen.
4.wonder woman- She is another character that turn to a cheapskate when it comes to stopping people in the air or on the ground and her lasso is annoying to get by plus her combos are a step up from Supergirl's so good luck.
5.Blue beetle- He is the most complex on this list but he's moves never gave me any issues because he's one of the best zones since you can spam his sound blast and enhance it if you want his grabs are perfect and he has a combat form which you can quickly switch into.

Started the game last week. Finished all story mode and only played Black Adam since then. Just reached his lv20 today and I'm looking for other characters. Doctor Fate caught my attention bcs of his visuals.
I started with Dr Fate. Really easy to use in zoning
Black Canary and Green Arrow are my personal favorites. Blue Beetle was also fairly easy to learn.
It makes sense for Batman and Superman to be two of the most accessible and balanced characters as they're the characters whom are most popular. Like Mario and Link in Smash

I actually first picked Black Canary as my favorite character but man, rangers are like poison for her.
I’d recommend to anyone who reads this to use red hood because of u do his training all the combos on there are really easy to do and really effective for distancing or rushdowns, such as Gotham Stars meter burn for keeping enemies away
I picked Robin right off the bat, because STYLE!

1. Bats. Simple balanced guy with a rushdown focus.
2. Aquaman. Good range, simple plan.
3. Deadshot. Easy. IF YOU ARE SCUM.

My main is the flash not the easiest character to use but he has always been my day 1 character so I'm pretty good with him
The character I started out with was Green Lantern bc he was my main in injustice 1 so I naturally wanted to start out with him in Injustice 2 after him I started to play Flash then I started back getting into Batman bc I was playing him but I stopped bc they changed his play style a little from injustice 1 but I started learning how to do more combos then I started learning combos with Black Adam cuz I was amazed at the amount of damage that he could do then I learned combos with Aquaman and Green Arrow
I think blue beetle is great, easy combos, and good damage, I used him as my first character and from my experience he was great

If you've played Mortal Kombat before this game. Never compare it, learn it and you enjoy it.
However I do think MKX is the best fighting game ever. Though I love DC movies.
My main character is Catwoman. She's agile, fast and her whip is really fun to use.
I put the game in and hit random select as my main and went from there and perfected him...

I just started playing and I picked Supergirl as my starter. She is insanely strong! Don't regret it one bit.
Easiest for me is probably my main, Black Manta, couldn't do combos for shit in IJ2 till I started playing as him now I can actually do combos utilising juggling and special move cancels, never been able to do it before for some reason but with him.. Goddamn he needs to come back in IJ3 as main roster, it's all i'm hoping for
I think atom is a easy to use character especially when he decreases his size

I don't know if im a little bit weird.... But i play Deadshot but with Rushdown style.
Tbh blue beetle should be up there in the top 5 because of how easy he is I mean by just pressing square you just can do so much with no skill. Deadshot takes a lot of skill to be useful not to mention he has to play offense a lot especially in pro play.
Green Lantern is my main character...he is great for me...Batman and Darkseid are great too...

I started with Bane and had a bad Time.
I sucked at most of these characters at first, and would call any character I couldn’t play well or that were hard to understand “bad characters”. After going through each characters tutorial in the learn section, I’ve realized almost all of the characters in the game are easy to use.
The easiest in my opinions would be: Superman, Batman, Atrocitus, Scarecrow and Bane

Play batman, good 50/50's and Good strength when you have gear for him.
I really didn't want to just be a batman main but boy is he just the simplest. It's like picking scorpion in mortal kombat. Also it doesn't help he's the most like my mk main, spawn
In terms of "easiest" superman is really the number one. I get why you put batman higher - because he has so many options that is effective and really to use, but that's the problem - "many options". As for superman, to start playing him all you need to learn is f23 and heat vision, may be super breath too, for extending combos. And unlike batman, his trait is not immediately gone, if you get hit after activating it. You just can't be easier than that.
In my opinion aquaman is also very easy to use, maybe the easiest because his attacks are strong, he is balanced and has easy conbos to learn

I would say green lantern is about a medium on difficulty level cause the dude is slow with combos but his abilities really boost him up and his special power isn’t that easy either and you really need that at high levels

I would say superman is easier to play then batman. All you do is forward 2, 3 and zone
id say supergirl is also one of the easier ones her combos are simple yet deal alot of damage and shes espesically powerful when you have a completly epic gear set for her
