I'm one of those guys that watches these but won't ever get good at them. Looks like I'll stick to being destroyed while just button mashing.
It takes time to master combos. Start with the easy one.
It's not hard. Just look up some combo moves of your favorite fighter and one by one practice them. It could be as little as 10 to 15 mins a day in practice mode.
You do know man that you can map(place it as favorite with a star symbol) and be able to always see it while fighting AI !? That way you can remember good combos, rest of fight is just repeat and repeat again, and it just gets mechanical reflex after that....i for example used only 3 or 4 combos in MK X with some fighters for lots of dmg :) same goes for Injustice 1 :D
Yeah mapping the combos on the page helps a lot. I did with Batman after I watch the IGN tutorial on it and now I'm pretty good with him.

jibjab M. yea, but he has decent range on his good normals, and a 8 frame low d1,2 that can be hit confirmed into a full combo... it's like a 500 dmg poke no big deal.

That's why I basically exclusively use Greased Lightning with the 3-frame SU to cancel into *all* of my special moves, at least until the opponent catches on and I have to use some low attacks to get past their block.
5:21 pro *MLG* tip: press heavy attack button in each hit to increase the damage of your supermove, your opponent can do the same to reduce damage

i just started working on flash 1 hours ago and I got to level 10 and I got most of his combos down
Flash's bnb without trait is. F 2 1, lightning kick mb, d 2, b 3, fj 1 or 3, b 2 2 f 3, fists of fury
And the mid screen trait combo they showed after lightning kick is actually pretty good. But in the corner it's different

Natural disaster has a wrong button command just as a FYI, it shows that you have to individually press down and 1,2,3 but it's just hold down and press 1,2,3 for those who want to do it

I was wondering. "Desk" has a TH-cam channel where he completely demolishes opponents with combo streams that are much longer than I have seen for characters. His hits seem faster or "less startup frames". I do not think it is the contoller or hitstick, not sure what he is using.... but he juggles dude in a corner much longer than I see in any video. My question is why or how!?!?

I'm having an issue where I enhance lightning kick him, but he hits the ground before I can trait lightning kick again. How do I solve this problem? I swear I'm pushing trait as fast as I can

I play on PS4 and find it hard to pull off fists of fury and batmans batarang consistently due to required movements in opposite directions. How do other people do it? When I use the d pad it is very hard to pulll it off without accidentally tapping down or up. If I try to use the analyze stick I cannot do any other moves. Is there anyway to do it easily with d pad?
What were the numbers for? Because I do not know the buttons for combos.

George Phillips Actually I mastered flash I have a win streak of 15 online with him and I've been able to master some hard combos. But I just can't seem to get around Deadshot and I'm having trouble learning him

angus dow These videos won't help you do basic combos. Just take it into Practice mode and focus not on mashing, but being precise for your inputs
Good anti-Flash players, Supes, Darkseid, keep Flash at distance and knock him back if he gets close. Cheetah can go toe to toe with Flash as well but you gotta be fast.
Ichsuka Flash literally counters the best features about both of those characters. His down 2 low profiles Superman's forward 2 and it's good against his air dash. Also if you're good with the quantum tunneling, the getting past his zoning is super easy and you don't take any damage, plus there's a meter burn roll now to help get in fast. For Darkseid all you have to do is use running man to low profile his omega beam and progress forward. If he decides to meter burn it to make it a mid just cancel out of running man stance to block. If he decides to do his air teleport, just use sonic lift to full combo punish. The only troublesome match up I've found is Doctor Fate and Deadshot if you're not patient.
