That's the spirit of the team, like The Chaos Crew didn't manage to win any of their first stages when participating in regular Scrapheap, yet their designs and fighting spirit were exquisite.
i think robin who pushed the yellow truck definitely had his weetabix that morning lol 😆 it's one of the best episodes I've ever seen on scrap heap challenge 👏👏👏🥰
I absolutely loved watching this show a long time ago, glad that most of it is online so I can watch it again. One thing that I always wondered was what happened to the builds after each challenge? In this case, after the final episode of scrappy races? Were you able to keep them or were they just sent off for scrap?
the fact the SVA excused to recognise the megs as a trike was properly dodgy from a legal pov as well. the agri exemption is fairly well known as an exploit though
Barley pickers should have won that imo. Considering they had by far the heaviest contraption of the lot, im amazed they even got the thing to float, let alone move. I wonder where these contraptions ended up after the show. Some of them in and outside of this group have been spectacular
What a great finale! love all the teams, Barley Pickers are fantastic! they must have finally had a talking to the miserable guest judge to be a little more positive eh! Just fantastic! thanks for the upload!!
Discovery has Junkyard Wars, the American version. Different hosts. Australia has them for sale but you need a region free dvd player to watch them. Good news is the region free players are only slightly more expensive.
I don't normally recommend pirating stuff but, well, we're already pirating it here as the rights holder didn't upload this. So, go to kat.cr and type 'scrapheap challenge' in the search box, sort by seeders, and download a whole bunch of them. There are other similar series that I've bumped into. I'd not actually seen this particular one so I figured I'd watch it as background noise but, oddly, I kept flipping the tab over and checking it out again to see what they were doing. I don't normally watch television, not in the normal sense, but I love me some documentaries. Oddly, this is not a documentary... Not even remotely close. Yet, it was strangely alluring and attention grabbing. I think that somewhere a well-adjusted, perfectly sane, proper human male is capable of reducing their maturity level by a complete order of magnitude. So, given that I'm 42, that means that I was as mature as a 4.2 year old child and it was in that state when I watched this entire series. Yup... Someday, maybe, I'll grow up and be five years old. ;-) And, as the quintessential pervert in me also exists, I must say that I do find at least one particular female participant to be both attractive and (from what little exposure was given) of good personality. I have a thing for smart women and if they're smart and attractive then I'm agog with twitterpation. Fortunately (or is that unfortunately?) they, being both smart and attractive, know enough to run away when they see me coming. That said, I noticed your post and I know it's old but there's a few options to find it online by torrents. There are many other P2P options available and some will work better than others depending on your jurisdiction. I'm pretty strongly in favor of protections for intellectual property but there's also a realization that it is a global economy now and if you're unable to get it (legally) in your area then you're really left only two choices. The first choice is to go without. The second choice is to pirate. Honestly? I shan't give direct links but I'd simply recommend the latter as, surely, you'd not be doing so for the purpose of gaining financially from the act. If you're pirating for your own consumption then so be it. Of course, if you can get it legally then that's the best choice. Prime, Hulu+, and Netflix may have it. I don't mind pirating too much because I do technically pay for all three of those services. I'd love something a bit more universal, ubiquitous, and simplistic - without encumbrances and the likes. I'd pay a great deal of money for such a service. It's television that I do not watch - that doesn't mean I don't like moving pictures. It means I don't like what's usually on television and I don't like any of it enough tolerate commercials - with significantly less patience for commercials if I'm paying for the service. Ah well, sorry for the very late reply and for the novella but, perhaps, you'll find the way to download the files now. Just search at KAT (kick ass torrents) at kat.cz or make use of The Pirate Bay or even Demonoid. Demonoid i still alive and still a private tracker. If you need an invite just let me know.
You take the high road And I'll take the low road And I'll be in Scotland before you We've got to build a boat And we've got to take it o-at On the bonny bonny waves of Loch Lomond
After watching the intro to the first episode I picked the Boat Buoys as my team of choice based on their flags/design once I found out who built what. Imagine my disappointment.
The Boat Buoys honestly had a terrible team from the very beginning with a captain that seemed to have a negative effect on any positive progress, and a positive effect on lots of negative progress.
I could never understand why the Barley pickers put the prop on the front and used the rear wheels for drive. It would have made so much more sense to do it the other way round!
Considering how they blew their engine and in another competition destroyed their trebuchet, I don't think they were the nerdiest guys around the block.
@@srinitaaigaura Most pertinent answer, but they've proven themselves better when it works, like pushing that heap out, or when they dug that car out, or even sail in the final! And quite entertaining way for a proper job 😅.
Did you know that the judge, Adrian Spooner helped build a vehicle that crossed the Bering strait? After watching every episode, and it being mentioned every single time, I know. I really really know by now...

Yeah cause you pronounce everything right don't you, you wee fanny. get over yourself. the usual Scottish sense of humour failure on there too, get that chip off your shoulder.
I genuinely think that the barley pickers should have won for even getting their 7 tonne machine to float in the first place!
Love the Barley Pickers and their amazing machine
So do I
Same
Lalnable Hector Who doesn't
over 7 tuns built buy farmers floating on water i would say that was the real winner in my opinion
The Boat Boys dragged around a boat the entire race and when it actually came to the water, they sank.
Now if that isn't irony I don't know what is.
That's the spirit of the team, like The Chaos Crew didn't manage to win any of their first stages when participating in regular Scrapheap, yet their designs and fighting spirit were exquisite.
@@killerdinamo08 The Crew were humble, if a bit boring, the Boat Boys were Arrogant, Spoil Sport Dickheads xD
I think this is the first time In any other scrapheap episodes I ever seen a car lost forever
Barley pickers machine was the best thing I've ever seen lol
Barley Pickers, proper job! Love these guys, just real old school engineering, common sense and gallons of cider!
i think robin who pushed the yellow truck definitely had his weetabix that morning lol 😆 it's one of the best episodes I've ever seen on scrap heap challenge 👏👏👏🥰
I got so unbelievably wet shooting that episode, and midge bitten, though it was certainly a fun series to work on.
Thanks for your work! Still love Scrapheap, watched it when I was very young.

Barley pickers were the best team hands down blew one engine up fixed it then made it 4wd and then floated 7 ton all while having a good laugh
Anyone else watching in 2024?
Hi
Got introduced to the show by a comment I read recently
Here
Yep! 🤣
I really like how in the first episode all the vehicles had to pass a road inspection......then instantly forgot it
the fact the SVA excused to recognise the megs as a trike was properly dodgy from a legal pov as well.

It's been an absolute age since my family watched these together, yet we still quote "Prop-per Joooooob" and "Herri, they're getting woooorse"
Proper jooob! oo ar oo ar!
I'm drooling just saying it 😄.
Also even after loosing Andy Barnes is still smiling and clapping. There is lots of substance to him.

Awesome show. I watched the entire thing from the beginning.
Robin is so enormously strong it's not even funny
good one.. I would pay to see this in better quality, I looked can't find it.

Dennis Rogers Yeah or maybe 100000 points for it xD
lol XD
:)

what an amazing series. I wish there were more episodes. Should've been best of 5.
The Chaos crew were just awesome, while the Beach Boys really had bad luck.
