This video shows you how to connect a GoPro mic adapter into your Sena communication system. This will work for all bluetooth systems with a wired mic.
I'm so excited to try this out. I've just finished wiring everything up and did some recording tests in my room. If this works well on the bike, i will be so stoked!. definitely one of the most promising set ups.
Great video man, a main complaint on my channel has been the lack of compatibility on GoPros audio side with communication systems, this is a really great solution given our community's situation, subbed!
I have a Lexin B4FM setup and it works great. I want to use my Go Pro Hero 7 black with the existing Lexin Mic as i do not want to add another Mic in the Helmet. Can this be done?
I’ve got my microphone and everything soldered and installed but I am getting the same cracklings audio as every other microphone I have tried. What audio settings do you use on the GoPro?
merci beaucoup pour ta vidéo .J'avais pas de problème avec la gopro 4 avec le module bluetooth Audio Pack, mais je vais changer deGoPro (7 ou 8) Merci encore pour les branchements
Siddharth Pathak Yeahh it didn’t work , I tried it as well . Mainly because the ground from spliced sena mic and spliced sena speaker cannot be same to feed the GoPro audio input. I wish Sena n GoPro just colla and make this much easier.
No, but I am picking up output via the input which should cause feedback. For whatever reason it works. I think this setup works so good because it’s using the software of the sena (noise canceling etc) to assist the mic.
Well, here is an expensive solution. Get a second sena and just use that as audio to gopro source, like a member of the group that just never talks. On a 50r there is a speaker to earbud cable sold by sena.
Hahaha this was great, thanks for the video! As a dog parent I laughed hysterically when the pup was whimpering when you were trying to record and fuck the camera for not focusing
@@OregonMotorcycle I'm in Gresham! If your down to ride one of these days I'm down. I'm just starting to motovlog. Trying to get my setup dialed in. Message me!

Dude, this is genius! Looking forward to trying this out.
Cool! Works awesome.

Thank you.
Great vid and smart! I wish I would have thought of the combo instal before I did my two mic system lol.
Thanks for the sub man! 👊. This set up works awesome.

Hoffe can I Sena Momentum Evo with gopro hero10 connecting with bluetooth. I dont want use extern speaker

The crackling is a connection issue.
Very interesting set-up!
Ya it works though;). I have the extra mic wired up in my helmet so the GoPro records what I’m hearing.
Oregon Motorcycle that’s pretty awesome. I was shocked at the ZERO wind noise you had!
Kyle Bradshaw thanks. I get a lil at high speed, but overall it’s great.
Hi .. Thank you for sharing this video. Please is there a video experience audio after that? Please provide me with the video link
Just watch one of my current videos.
Or you can just connect with the bluetooth...... Don't know about the 5 but the 7 can just connect....i don't understand?
Does the voice record also the voice of your colleague connected to you?
Yes with the extra mic.

How to record sound from speaker, sir ?
Place the second mic next to one of the speakers. This might help a lil. th-cam.com/video/T2VOBcA30pI/w-d-xo.html
how about if we want to pickup the speakers audio also in GoPro without having a second mic?
You have to have the second mic for the speaker. You mount that lil mic right next to the speaker.
@@OregonMotorcycle oh ok, thanks for the reply. I was thinking to splice the connection & duplicate it towards GoPro but I think it will not work.
Siddharth Pathak Yeahh it didn’t work , I tried it as well . Mainly because the ground from spliced sena mic and spliced sena speaker cannot be same to feed the GoPro audio input. I wish Sena n GoPro just colla and make this much easier.
Aren't you wiring the audio out from the sena back into the mic input? No problem with that?
No, but I am picking up output via the input which should cause feedback. For whatever reason it works. I think this setup works so good because it’s using the software of the sena (noise canceling etc) to assist the mic.
Thanks for the post. I’ll give it a try.
Does plugging into the Sena turn off the speakers?
3 years later and still no way to just connect GoPro and Sena audio together... Still have to do the splice method.. sad times
Yep. I just got a Cardo and had to do the same thing.
Will this work for the hero 7 white? I cant find anything on an external microphone for the 7 white..
If you have a mic input, yes
@@OregonMotorcycle All I have is the USB-c connector
@@OregonMotorcycle wasnt sure if the mic adapter was compatible.
So if you add a mic you can pick up another rider talking to you?
Brady Lavy yes. The mic picks up what your hearing. You can see it in action in some of my vids.
Found the vid!
Is there a newer simpler way of doing this now a year later?
Not that I know of.

is your dog a husky? he sounds like my husky!
Doberman;)
My cat does the same thing.
Sena has no interest in making it easy to use a GoPro. They sell cameras themselves.
