Man that was rough. First time ever doing it and working on it before work didn't help but finally got it together. Doing my curado now. Printed out the schematic for it to help. I think I put those clips on the wrong pins so I will take note of that and use my schematic as a reference on my curado.
I got the Citica all back together and it spins good but I have a noise that sounds like it is near the front of the reel when I spin it. If I hold it upside down and spin it the noise goes away. Any ideas?
Yes. The anti reverse pawl. It might be spread open too much and not pinching the ratchet gear. It is rubbing the main drive gear. In this link, the first picture (figure 9) shows how they are slightly pointed inwards to create this pinch, it is in a Calcutta. But it is used the same in your Citica. Let me know if this helps!
BAYOURATT REEL SERVICE IS CLOSED FOR BUSINESS

You are the first to comment on it. Good catch.

It can be challenging, esp the line guide on these.
Did you put everything in the ultrasonic washer including the bearings?
I do, but the bearings I put in mineral spirits in a small jar in the ultrasonic washers, whereas everything else is in degreaser in the washers.
@@bayoureels1983 ok thanks never used one but I'm getting ready to buy one
