Look under your spool tension cap. If that bearing is rusty, then the spool shaft may be siezed to the bearing. I have a small punch that has a cupped tip as not to damage the spool shaft. I just line that up and tap on the punch. If you have something similar that is flat on the surface it could work the same. Do not use the tip of a screwdriver. It could scar and/or mushroom the end of the spool shaft. Let me know if you get it out! Hope that helps.

My spool won’t come out, I have done everything and the spool will wiggle a little but not come out. Any suggestions?
