Awesome job Chris, they found the right guy to cover every Intricate detail, I've watched this video a few times and still seeing something different everytime 👊👊🍺🍻👍
People, don't use the Trokar swimbait hooks unless you want the back of your bait to be ripped. Just use the owner hook. It's sharper and stays sharper over time. The trokar's silly design is meant to catch fishermen. The design allows the tip to easily fold and become useless while also cutting into the baits. you'll be using mend-it a lot more.
@@aarronconkright999 You can use either the 6/0 1/4oz or 8/0 3/8oz. Or you can do something like the BKK 8/0 that has the 8g weight and 12g weight included. Titan Diver + is the model name I believe. I do really like the BKK hook but if you're fishing really heavy grass it's not as smooth coming through as the Owner with the fixed weight.
I rigged one this past weekend with a screw lock Owner beast hook and after fishing it for a while the screw lock pulled out of the bait tearing the soft plastic out of the nose of the bait. I love throwing the Magdraft so I am going to experiment with other style hooks to see what works best for me. Im thinking of filling the nose of the bait with silicone and see if that works.
The one with treble only catches 7-15 bass an tore up I'd like some to belly hook, caught 3 over 8 in January in raleigh nc,an lots of other big bass ,good bait tears up to easy, catch & release let's go
Well, the harness version is pretty sweet when you're fishing open water. There's no question they decided to expand the product line given the success of the Magdraft body. Just gives us more rigging options for a wicked paddle tail.

Great information. I just bought 2 Freestyles and am anxious to try them.

Owner is superior, for sure!
Owner all the way. Now better screw lock swim bait hook on the market.
What size is best with the 6 inch?

The owner flashy swimmer I can only find in 5/0 1/4oz
Can’t wait to fish for big speckled trout with it!
I've been using the 6in on monster Snook and Trout with awsome results.
We need an 8inch freestyle!!!
Agree! No whispers on our end but who knows. I suspect the right people will be reading these comments so thanks for adding Jeremiah.
Cut the harness out and pair it with an owner swimbait hook
Maybe include some type of nailweight or somthing with the lure to help hold the hook after a few fish. I mean lures arent cheap
Just buy some lead nailweights and do what he said. They are very cheap (the weights)
@@marcusyoung2870 what size nail weight you think?
Great info, thanks Z!
color that nail weight black on the white baits and it looks like a shad
Interesting idea! We like it!
Chris Zaldain for President 🙌🏽✊🏽🎣💪🏽💯🍻🍻
And Speaker of the House, Secretary of State, Sec Def, CIA Dir, etc! Dude is solid. Thanks for watching.

What kind of reel?
I love this video
Excellent tips!!!! Thanks…
Great info! God bless!
Anyone have any tips or tricks to allow me to fish the pre-rigged Magdraft faster? Or is it meant to only be slowly retrieved?
What’s your gear ratio on that reel?
Glad to see this ive been cutting out harness using mend it to do this very thing with these baits Cheers!! :))
👍. Nice when life gets easier for a change!
How are you removing the harness?
@@daltonross9889 razor cut it out and use mend it to fix cut then use a 6/0 weighted beast hook
What size is the jig hook?
Will they be priced the same?
Catches em all the way to 10lbs. Well I want the 15lb version.

You know its expensive when youre sponsored by megabass and you still wont pull the glued one apart.
Nice bait!
Had a fish break off 20# mono.
How come I can SEE the fluorocarbon under water in the video?? 🤣😂
They only made the freestyle because everybody was taking that harness system out and using it on an owner beast hook
