I have the first gen of the 10 and 12 of this model there is a sticker on back and no holes in the coil peace thank for the tips p.s the kicker truck box put the subs right at bottom of there box and its so shallow it has a circle cut out in the box and a metal plate so it's not resting on the box it self🤔🤪💯👍✌️ haven't had a problem yet with them but thanks for the video I'm sure it will come in handy 👍💯🎵🎶🎶🍻✌️
I have a 12 L7s kicker square that has blown 2.38 inxh coil i think ima take off the basket and see if a comp r 12 has rhee same bolt pattern on the basket if it does ima puse thr L7 motor and xomp r basket coil and spider the both use same 2.38 kapton coil and both are d2 so ima build me some custom job i may have to order a coil spider whatever else and try to. Build something like a cvx i think they use same motor as L7s its the same version but square we will see how it goes i also am repairing a jl rd 1500/1 it was showing constant clip with no laod found some bad outputs and a few resistors 101 smd are showing shorts and these 4 green resisters get hot especially 1 and that same 1 thw ohm reading i rhink 47k is off also has 2 3205 mosfets bad the ttace ro thw board looks missing but amp is new waiting on parts for that and parts for some Brazilian full beisge amps .
I was putting a grill for protection on my kicker 46TL7T82 8in thin square loaded enclosure and when I opened it up it looked like this ,no sticker and 3 holes. No plastic cover around the magnet? I’m about to message the seller because I was thinking it’s refurbished or something. Has anyone else noticed this on the magnet @7:18 in the video ?
Great thing about car audio is that there are so many options and brands available to pick from. Kicker is a great company and makes products for every budget. Their Comp Q and their Solo X series will compete with any manufacturer out there.
exactly i cant stand there over priced garbage ! when i used to compete kicker would be all decked out with there junk and id roll in with a rusted out crx and beat them every time . i won 10 shows in a row in 0-100 watt stock . back then there was 20 plus per class now its a joke with maybe 3 . stock class was the hardest because it had to fit in the trunk with no mods at all .
