Good video. Got me to drag out my blown 10Wv3v3 2 ohm sub and give it a go. Spent the day getting it all apart, cleaned up, and ready for a new coil. But I spent some time looking online, and can't seem to find the single coil, 2 ohm voice coil, for it. It's about 53mm tall from the bottom of the spider, @ 39mm width, and @ 36mm of coil height(From best I can tell. Most of the wire was pulled off the tube already). In case anyone knows where i can find 1...

The DVC comes with spring terminals. They will be 99.00 each They actually perform well and definitely will hold 750 rms . Model # Ive tested is ATG12W1500 4ohm DVC cone is smooth poly . It has dual 8 guage spring terminals. Mine were purchased directly from audiotogo . Ive noticed over many years of messing with car audio that if you buy from secondary companies your getting prototypes

hey Moe. I have a similar amp, ZX 400.1 that cooked a piece on the boar. i'm trying to find what the piece is so i can replace but it's completly burned up. Looks like yours has the same part. Small yellow thing right next to the transformer. Any help is appreciated

Not to sound just like that guy but I also got one about 2mo ago from NVX for $65. My surround n cone don't seem to be lined up perfectly but I heard as long as theres no rubbing it shouldn't be an issue. Ran in to vehicle issues so no install but love your vid!

That sub sounds cooked - btw I love & swear by these subs in a triple sealed box but if that’s within warranty I’d simply swap it out. Also I highly suggest getting the mesh grilles if installed in a daily driver cuz that $40 saved my gear more times than I care to remember. I been running type R of various generations for 20 years on memphis amps and it’s a match made in heaven.

I STARTED WITH 2. 15s about 90 or 91. They are made for sound quality not SPL that's the reason for soft dust cap.

I would have liked to buy a set of these because kicker comps are what started me in car audio in the 90s but for the price, there are many better options. There isn't anything about these subs that warrants their price tag except the kicker name. Nice sub but not worth the asking price imo.

I have used ATG for quite a while. Its a DB Drive entry level sub. I am curious as to how youre comparing a DVC sub to a SVC sub. not quite apples to apples
