8:10 is where my problem is. I tend to leave the face open and push or push fade. I tried Eureka but kept hitting blocks off the planet or over hook it. I love the idea but just can't seem to make it work. Thanks for the videos.
love your content mate. Live in Thailand but will be back in the summer where I am a member of North Berwick. Might dive up to Peebles and get a lesson with you
On the tee I place the ball with the logo line lined up at the back and on the 4pm line, if that makes sense; it provides both an impact point and the line of the path. As this is not allowed on course I got a ball marker stamp and put a few marks on the ball, so chances are there is always one in the right place.
Since my ongoing fault, when trying to keep the club grip/handle close to the body, is right shoulder throwing out, this would give me excellent feedback.
Good video - enjoyed it. My only worry with this is does it not potentially encourage the club to come too far inside on the takeaway because of where the stick is?
It appears that your take away isn’t close to Ledbetter’s Straight Away training aid procedure. Or is it? I am a senior golfer, age 78, 4 handicap. Hips ain’t what they use to be! I will practice with rod over ball to see where my impact comes through.
4:30??-Id say 7:00. You’re looking down at the ball , 12 is target direction, 6 is the BACK. In order to hit it to Right Field, 7 O’clock, is where you hit. Please explain how you get 4:30……
Hi Michael, thanks for flagging this up. You need to access the channel via the internet not the app for the join button to display. Hope this helps. Don’t know why YT have made this so clunky 🤷♂️ Thanks Steve
👋 Hey thanks for watching. Have you tried my Golf Swing System? Here’s a link www.eurekagolfswing.com/
Thanks Steve
Best on utube, thanks Steve ❤
Best golf instructor on TH-cam imho.
Wow, thanks👍👍👍
can't wait to try this, love the added benefit of knowing exact direction of the target

This will help me to play in the zone you wanted me in during my lesson with you. Brilliant.
That was great information. Thanks from down under

Sounds great!
North Berwick. My favorite Scottish course.
Another great video.
Thank you, again, for such a well explained video, will definitely use this drill out on the course.

Love your enthusiasm AND the explanation!

No doubt about it👍
Must try this. Great work Steve

You're awesome!
keen to try this ASAP
Nice drill. Are you using sort of a stack-and-tilt type of swing or how would you describe it? Thanks.
Eureka Golf Swing. Here’s a link www.eurekagolfswing.com/
Still not used the Eureka stuff Steve and I bought it 2 years ago. Like the look of this drill though 👍
Does this swing work for shorter guys? I'm 5'8 for reference.
If golf swing is inside out then body rotation will pull the club back inside is that not true? Please clarify.
I guess 3 popsicle stix glued together creates the joy.
Thanks Steve
Setting it up like that makes ur takeaway too low and inside?
Yeh. Trying to relate to target line for the viewer.
Also encourage great rotation. Think of S&T
I am going to set this up in my simulator tonight.
Steve, have you ever played at Kings Acre in Edinburgh?
Lovely course

For me 9 o’clock is target
Isn’t the 4.30 a Brad Hughes thing?
@@stevejohnstongolf thank you Steve, for the clarification. You’re always so kind and helpful. Wish Boston was a scooch closer to Scotland.
A common phrase is "hit it to right field" (referring to an American baseball field). This is what you are advising here?

Please dont encourage this . OAPs at my course will take 8 hours instead of 5 😂😂😂
Yeh, sorry about that. 🤷♂️
