I'm binge watching so excuse the comment 2 years late. I just wanted to mention that Isaac Asimov wrote a really interesting non-fiction book on this subject called "Extraterrestrial Civilizations" back in 1979 (OK, maybe I'm 45 years late). He concludes that there are most probably extraterrestrial civilizations, but that the chance that we've actually seen them is extremely low. Things like galactic distances and the probability that those civilisations have actually rise and die out before or after our own lower the chances of us ever having encountered them (or ever doing so in the future). From what I remember, he doesn't raise the possibility of time travel.
Great comment from you of three weeks ago. I, too, just ran across this two-year-old video of Ethan's, and LOVE this topic. Your reference to Asimov is wonderful, and I would say he did not mention time travel since he seemed to believe that time travel was ONLY possible in the mode we are all presently traveling -- going in one direction forward at 60 seconds per minute (relatively) here on the earth. I must tell you that I was very close friends with Ray Bradbury during the last 13 years of his life, and we talked about this topic many times in his family room or over beers at his favorite burger joint near Cheviot Hills, Los Angeles. And I have two back-and-forth letters from the Sir Arthur C. Clarke about matters of space. Clarke had interesting thoughts about alien intelligence possibilities. Lastly, have you ever read Loren Eiseley's essay from his book, THE IMMENSE JOURNEY, titled "Little Men and Flyig Saucers" ? It's a brilliant discussion of the nature of evolution as we know it on Earth, and how duplicating Earth-like conditions to evolve human beings elsewhere in the entire universe is impossible. It's impossible, because without the exact same conditions and time-line that Earth had, there can be no human-like evolution. Something ELSE will evolve instead, but never humans. I believe Eiseley was one of the first to really address this topic so well.

OMG Ethan I love you even more after watching this video!! I think you did a great job with this video and expressing your thoughts about the UFO’s. It’s obvious that as you said you’re very interested in this type of thing and have studied it a lot and you seem very informed about what could be out there! Now I’ve never had a big interest in this type of thing but have always thought of it as interesting and curious about it.
I guess my point is I love the fact of how open minded you are and I am open minded as well and I enjoy people that are open minded and willing to listen and learn from others about any subject! You should not be afraid to put content like this on your channel if it is what interest you if there’s haters all I can say is they should go away and leave you alone for those that like you and your content will stay like myself!!

Wow! Another great video, Ethan. Thanks! You do seem to have a boundless imagination - and that is not meant to be a derogatory remark in any way! Nearly all great discoveries, inventions and new technologies begin with boundless imagination. There's so much to say about this. First of all I really appreciate your perceptions of our universe and indeed just our own galaxy. I believe it's very hard for most people to actually imagine the immenseness of all of it. The nearest star to earth is 4 light years away, meaning that it would require traveling at 186,000 miles per second for 4 years to reach it. That in and of itself is almost impossible to comprehend. Just a few highlight comments on this. First of all, it is pretty well agreed among astrophysicists and other physicists there are likely 10 dimensions to the universe, only 4 of which we, as humans, are really able to comprehend. Indeed some of those dimensions deal with parallels - divergent paths from the simple straight line (of time) that we are familiar with. That alone offers some incredibly difficult to imagine possibilities, one of which dovetails with your idea of "visitors from another time" - or what we would perceive as another time. There are some good YT videos on this as well as other resources. So much more! Sometime in your varied travels you should visit Roswell, New Mexico and see the UFO museum there. It was established in response to the UFO sightings near there in 1947. It offers some pretty convincing arguments even for the most jaded doubter. Since, like me, you seem to love to jump into the water when it's hot, I would recommend staying at Bottomless Lakes State Park 12 miles to the east. Lea Lake there is an absolutely beautiful natural lake formed by the Pecos river filling an ancient volcano caldera. You can swim the entire length of the lake - about 1/4 mile - I've done it more times than I can count. The water is crystal clear and comfortably cool, nice sandy beach. Also consider visiting The VLA (Very Large Array) effectively the largest radio telescope on earth on US 60 about 45 miles west of Socorro, NM and about 25 miles east of my home. It consists of 27 82ft diameter satellite dishes in an array that creates a radio telescope that is up to 13 miles in effective diameter depending on it's configuration - which is variable. Look it up on the internet. It has a visitor center that is open to the public daily (free) and features two "behind the scenes" tours of the facility each year the first Saturday of April and the first Saturday of October. These tours are also free. Hey, take care! Love you! I could talk to you about this stuff for hours on end. It's fascinating to me!

I completely agree with your theory that these instances are possibly human visitors from our future. There was a Star Trek Original Series episode on that subject.
There are 3,017 intelligent space traveling ET nonhuman species just within our little sector of this galaxy alone.
They live for the most part on planets. They have physical matter bodies as we do, even if different from the
human body. Many monitor this planet in various types of ships/crafts, and they do so frequently.

Okay, in all honesty, I always kinda thought of you as a twit (sorry,) but this video showed an all new side of you. This is the most coherent, thoughtful and insightful you have ever sounded! I love this topic and I'm glad you featured it. I agree, it's a mathematical certainty life exists elsewhere in the universe. The question is, have "they" visited here? I think with all the evidence coming out it is almost certain "they" have. However, our government will never acknowledge that fact. They have too much to lose by doing so. Keep investigating this topic!
Ethan, it's time for you to get a celestron Telescope. One that can automatically find galaxies, nebulae and planets. Get a good model.

By the way, the have several episodes on youtube of that show "In Search Of" that Fran was talking about. Look around for them. It was a show about all sorts of paranormal, science, technology, and research, etc. It was narrated by Leonard Nimoy (AKA Spock from Star Trek).
I observed and saw these same craft in the late 1980s and early 1990s being tested on the Nellis Air Force range so it makes sense that they would be deployed by now. They have phenomenal performance characteristics and the lameman would think these craft are from another planet. I've spent many years of my life studying this subject and hundreds of hours out in the field. Our best technology is many decades beyond any other country and we do a very good job concealing it.

Very impressive research and thinking. I'm a retired physicist and I've studied this phenomenon off and on for 15 years. The logic in your thinking is commendable. Check out "3 dimensional beings encountering 2 dimensional beings" and it will add to your understanding of "5th dimension" as you called it. "Any sufficiently advanced technology will appear as magic to lesser beings."
The one point you didn't address is why do they appear to be monitoring military installations. If they were "future us", why wouldn't they be studying population centers?

Wow, that’s a bunch of galaxies and suns and planets. And we haven’t even gotten into how many dimensions there might be on top of all that, too. There’s a literal infinity of ways for UFOs to exist.
Another interesting side note. Probably around 4 years before you were born, we were coming home from a vacation in New Mexico (lived in Colorado then) and had stopped right near Ft. Garland, CO where state route 159 joins US 160 for a brief respite from driving and to get a snack. I looked up shortly after stopping and observed VERY CLEARLY a sort of cigar shaped silvery object that was silently drifting overhead at a pretty leisurely pace. It seemed to be quite large - maybe the size of our travel trailer or larger. And it seemed to be at an altitude of roughly half that of a typical airliner. Was so entranced, I never thought to try to get a picture. But we got home that night and we saw on Denver's 9-news that we apparently weren't the only ones who saw it, and someone did manage to shoot a video of it for about 10 - 15 seconds. (Sorry for the stereo-typical "cigar shaped" reference, but that's exactly what it was.)

Finally this is getting out. I have been trying to talk to people about this stuff most of my life. I'm going to subscribe to your Patreon just because of this video. In the first place, I agree with everything you said plus what you said about time travelers from the future is very interesting and not something I thought of before. I don't think they come from the US because, as you mentioned, they would have to violate many laws of science to do what they do and I don't think anyone would delay taking credit for it. I have heard many reports claiming they see a blue glow around some of these objects. This would suggest it may be a corona discharge from a very strong magnetic field which would make sense since you'd probably have to generate a similar field to either manipulate or cancel out gravity. If this was possible, I could see these object moving as fast as they do and turning as quickly as they do without danger to the occupants. In addition, this magnetic field could be used as a "shield" to deflect any debris in the air or space which would likely penetrate these objects at the speed they're traveling. Since this means not only being able to measure gravity's polarity (or something similar) but creating such a strong magnetic field to influence it and have it directed so it does not affect any beings or any of the controls inside, I doubt it's anyone on this planet. Scientists have experimented with anti-matter and found that it can produce a great amount of energy but it takes so much electrical energy for us to create an anti-matter particle that it's not even an option to use this as a fuel source which could provide more power than even nuclear energy. Then you have to figure out how to store it because it cannot touch matter so it basically has to be "floated" in a magnetic field, etc. etc. etc. Anyway, this shouldn't be an issue for a civilization that maybe be thousands of years ahead of us. I also do believe they're visiting several planets, probably not just us. I should cut this off here but you get the picture.
