#2 Touch-Free power rear door - you forgot to mention the key must be within 2.5 feet of the tailgate for the touch-free function to work.
I just purchased a certified used 2017 RX 350 with the luxury package and all the bells and whistles. It’s a great car it’s the second RX in our family, the wife has a 2021 RX 350 and just loves it. Thanks for all your videos and all your information.

ASWIN: not really most people lease them cause it's much cheaper than buying. Most fully loaded SUVS, PIck UP trucks, crossovers start in mid 40's and up. Actually pick up trucks cost more than the lexus--Ford F-250 limited starts at $79,600, way more than this lexus. It's just a badge for people who want to say "I drive a lexus" (especially those who get base models)

HowToCarGuy ..... Whatever suits you Brock. You can't suit everyone on youtube. Stick to what you feel comfortable with and whichever style you enjoy doing. Just one thing I personally would enjoy is if you talked a bit more about the engine (mpg, hp, torque, cylinders) and did a bit more of driving the cars👌🏻

You got me...learned a couple new things and you got me good about the voice activated locking/unlocking. Glad I watched the whole video instead of standing by and yelling at my car.
Just got the 2019 RX 350 f sport with red seats! That thing is a beauty to behold! Drives smooth like a fine wine wine and the mark Levinson sound system is amazing too!

Fun video! I have the 2016 RX350, and it looks like you kept the features that I love in it. I especially like the feature that opens the hatch when I place my hand above the emblem. I also love the lane change blind spot alert and the alert for cross traffic when I back out of the driveway. Keep up the great work, Lexus!

I just got 2021 RX LOADED AND I LOVE IT SO FAR. WISH THEY WOULD HAVE TURBO
My 2016 RX350 has all of these features too, except for the cornering lights and the triple LED head lights. I love my RX350!

Not happy that customers are required to pay for the app Lexus Enform for various features of their car...including the start engine feature! Enjoyed the free intro ride with this feature but not worth the $2-300 per year to keep it when I only used the Start Engine feature! Many other cars in lower price range have remote start engine feature in their cars....why can't Lexus??!!

Now on that note.. Sadly my decision is completed and I will not buy a Lexus RX. To my great disappointment the seats are very uncomfortable (sport and non sport) The highlander seats are way superior. After 1/2 of drive I had lower back pain to the point where I wanted to go back to the garage. If you have discussions with Lexus rep, please ask them to fix this. Hopefully will see Lexus in 2019 if its a redesign year.

...today is December 13, 2021...this video is made in 2017...I want to buy an used 2017 Lexus...Lexus is the best of TOYOTA...
Why would they do the opening with placing the hand over the badge? If you have a free hand to do that why not press a button? Silly feature from my PoV. Other manufacturers have a kick motion feature. I have that on my 2017 E class and it always works when I have both hands occupied.

This car is kick ass car hands down! The 2018 style is amazing design. Wondering if they added light to glove compartment because it sucks driving at night and trying to find something at glove compartment without light

Great features. I have a 2015 and wish it had those. Guess I’ll have to purchase a new one although I have no problems with my current vehicle and it only has less than 50,000 miles.
aloha from hawaii i have been looking for a rx350 and could not decide on what year now i want a 2017 i really like the voice open rear door or the kick your foot under bumper to open
I drove 85 miles to purchase a 2000 Lexus with only 100k on it. should be good for another 100 to 150k. Top quality, I wonder if the quality is still there on the new ones! Apparently the American brands are sledding down hill very fast! Why are we buying them? 30 to 60k for a car or suv is nuts But i have to admit, 2017 lexus has got the worst grill iv ever seen. Looks like a fish with a large gapping mouth! Would never buy that!

Is that mobile phone remote start a new feature in 2017 model? Is it just for North America market or globally? I have a 2016 RX350 F-Sport and I'm from Australia, never heard of this feature and the Lexus Enform app here is just crap.
#Locking Fuel door. Have been a driver for more than 10 years, always been open the fuel door from the inside of the car. Last week bought this new lexus Rx 350, wandered around the car at the gas station for 15min to find out how to open that fuel door. :)) so embarrassed.

Lexus has most difficult infotainment system ever! Thats the only thing i hate about Lexus.
Kia has a phone pairing software that mirrors the phone screen on Kia screen. ANthing for RX 350?

None of this is new from the 2016 RX350 FSport as I own one and it does all of this.

How to setup voice contol open and close door? I hv failed it many times. LOL..
I just installed my new iPhone/Lexus app to enable the voice-activated doors. It is really so kool when my hands are full. The only down side is that it unlocks all the doors instead of just the driver's door. Maybe the next version will permit me to select which door unlocks and will even have the selected door swing open for me.

Yes the voice activation was a winner, the double painted windows and sliding your hands over the rear door emblem to open it was surprising but helpful

the tailgate can also be activated to open with the use of the elbow as well as the hand which is great when having items in hand and not able to put them down until the hatch is open -- an no, this is not like the "fake news" voice command. Nice car although I have yet to give it a test drive but lots of great features (needs self leveling headlights though). Awaiting the Genesis SUV for 2018 and also interested to see what Lincoln's 2018 MKX will offer as I love my 2011 MKX.

Bought my 2017 RX350 based on Brock’s review. Love it. It now has 50k but still looks as new as the day we bought it. The RX isn’t cheap, but worth every penny. Plan on keeping this vehicle for a long time. Thanks again, Brock...
