I know what really happened with you choice in tires... After the the Florida meet, you took a ride in Big Hoss, who has the BFG's and Dee got a little jealous of his shoes...LOL
To be honest those tires were past do for replacement. New tires look awesome. Most of the cars I've owned have called for the same tire pressure, front and rear. But I've always wondered why the pressure couldn't be more closely related to the weight distribution of the car. For example, if 60 percent of the curb weight is over the front wheels, and 40 percent is over the rear wheels, why isn't the tire pressure similarly distributed? Answer: car manufacturers, recognizing this fact, have designed suspensions around a single tire pressure, so that the car's SUSPENSION already compensates for the weight distribution.
Just being honest. BFG KO2 are some of the worst tires ever. At one time had a fleet of 16 Ford super duty with BFG KO2 and everyone of them had damaged fenders form blowouts. I would never have a set on me truck even if they gave them away for free. Just my opinion
The different pressures in the tires are due to payload capacity. Since the weight on the front stay the same GM engineers figured out that you can get away with the lower pressure and not negatively effect tire wear. And since the rear tires could see heavy loads they wanted higher pressure to keep the side wall from squishing down and causing improper wear on the out tread.
You two missed your calling. You should have been comedians. Good thing you are a Jack of all trades, does anything ever get you down? The pigs are cute.
I sang the Electric Slide right along with you Nae Nae "Boogie Woogie Woogie". My last set of tires I bought I think I paid $600. Wow! Tires are expensive. You guys make my week. Hola from Logan!
my husband played this video before the kids went to bed.. i truly enjoyed it and then realized it was theeee latest and greatest.. loved it so much that I am watching it AGAIN!!
Awwwww 🤗❤️ this is so amazing! Your support means everything to us, we are so happy to have you guys here with us. We definitely need to meet up someday soon 😊
Just a note on repairing aluminum, heat it up with a heat gun first and keep it warm, it will bend back much easier and less chance of cracking. Aluminum likes to crack when bent cold. Hairdryer won't be hot enough. Lol love the truck and tires, I'm a mud tire guy myself. Love you guys, safe travels
This is fantastic information Rob! Thank you for taking the time to write this down for us and everyone reading 😃 I will keep that in mind with the heat, it’s amazing how that can play such an important role in the flexibility of the Aluminum
I have a set of BFG AT KO2's on my Wrangler and they have been great. With that good experience, couple years ago I put a set on my '16 Denali 2500 and they were the horrible. They were a little noisy but the vibration was unbearable. They literally shook my truck. I had them in for re-balancing 3 times and they just couldn't get them right. I eventually replaced them with less than 10k miles on them. They do look good. Glad they are working for you. Love the channel.
Yes! We are so much happier about this choice, I wish the initial tires were all-terrain‘s as well from the dealership. Now I will never go back to mud tires 😜 thank you for watching!
Carl i love the way you are able to go up and down your ladder. At my age (over 60) I move a lot slower. I don't like going up and down on the roof. Also we were told to never go out on the sides roof, but it seemed like if didn't affect your side roof. Nice work.
Hey Liz and Paul! This is wonderful of you guys to reach out 🤗 Thank you, it means a lot to us. Stay safe out there, we hope that our paths cross soon!!
Wow, Ney Ney! Marcia Griffiths "Electric Boogie". Everyone calls it The Electric Slide. One thing you may not know and that I was a DJ for about 30 years, starting in 1973. When the song was first released in1996, it immediately took off and I was teaching the dance to every crowd I played for. As more and more people knew how to perform the original dance, I started putting variations to it (of course, teaching those variations). I think there were three. As the song played and people were dancing, I would call out on the mic 1, 2 or 3. It was a lot of fun and to this day, it's my favorite.
We are so glad your slides work. That has to be a load off of your minds. The truck looks great with the new tires. I told my wife you crack me up, she informed me they were just wrinkles.
LOL this is hilarious 😄 y’all make our day! We are so happy that the slides work as well, thank you for the well wishes. Best to you guys, have a great weekend 😃👋🏼
@@HappilyEverHanks Everthing is going great. Starting the RV shopping process next week. Will be looking at Grand Design based on your recommendation as well as Jayco, Coachman and Keystone Montana. Excited to compare each and pick my new home.
Omg, I used to play the Electronic Slide at every wedding that I DJ’ed. I am not saying when that was😉 but it was when I was an on-air radio personality. Nice call on BFG KO2s. Peace and Safe Travels.
That’s so awesome that you were a DJ Craig! 😎🙌🏼 I bet you were definitely a hit at the weddings! Thank you so much! We really enjoyed the upgrade 😁👏🏼 cheers friend, have a great upcoming weekend
You guys bought my favorite tires at my absolute favorite tire company :). The KO2 sidewall is adorable, am I right?!!!! Discount Tire has helped me out of so many jams over the years.
Hi guys! Congrats on the new tired! All terrain tires are much quieter than mud terrains. I have mud terrain on my jeep, and oh my, its loud! I know the electric slide very well! Thats a song played at most weddings. Glad all worked well with your slides as well! Thanks for another great video!!
Hey Erin!! Yes, it’s amazing how much quieter they are! 😃 that’s so cool you know what the electric slide is lol I guess Carl is a little behind 🤣 Thank you for all your support!
Those tires look really nice. They really stand out on the Denali. I’m sorry to hear about the damage to the slide. You both are so handy. Watching you two make me comfortable fixing things in my RV. Thank you for sharing with the RV community.
On the tire psi question We run our tires 65 in front and 85 in rear Front is lower for a softer ride when empty I’m glade that your house is not to badly damaged so you can make it in for repairs Hope to meet up one day for some cool refreshing beverages and some good stories Keep up the good work!!
KO2's are really good tires! Had them on my old truck, and getting them on my current truck once new tires are needed. Keep on posting funny a** videos!! 😂
You guys are #goals. I just got a travel trailer and now I need to get a good reliable truck to pull it. Thankful for your videos!!! Also, I am 31 years young today and I know the electric slide!! 😁
Hey Courtney! Thank you so much for your awesome support 😀👏🏼🙌🏼 Love that you know what the electric slide is!!! Now we have to teach Carl to catch up with the times 🤣 Congrats on getting a travel trailer! What model of trailer did you get?
I am a retired firefighter . It is going to be about 4 years until my wife retires and we start to buy our new camper and my new Ford f-350 and we hit the road full time. But the whole reason for this is that I want to thank you guys for all the good advice you have given me and other that follow you guys. Like the 333 rule it is a great ideal Thanks for that and a lot of other tip you guys have passed on to me. I hope when we do hit the road full time I hope we run across you guys.
I’ve gone from mud tires to an all terrain tire and the noise and ride difference is like night and day…or Carl and Nay! LOL I DIDNT TOW A 5th wheel but it was a nice and notable change. Safe travels y’all! Stay safe! Smart smart smart on the clock reminder sticker, or tape, or decal! You two make my Friday Mornings! Funny, you did what all of us in Cleveland TN do when it comes to big purchases… road trip to Fort Oglethorpe, Dalton, or Ringgold GA! Really appreciate your videos!
Yes, I am of the age where the Electric Slide was an obligatory dance to know for all of the dances and places to go out and dance. Brings back fond memories, and I bet most of us can still remember all the steps. Love the new tires, and I'm so glad that the slides went back in without a hitch!
Hey Tyler!! This is so wonderful to hear 😊🙌🏼 What inspired you guys to start the RV life?? Are you going to be part time or full time? Tell us the DEETS 🙂
@@HappilyEverHanks I lived in a 5th wheel 20 years ago for 2 year and through winter in Spokane Washington. I want to travel again and experience the US.
Awesome!! That is going to be wonderful for you Tyler 😁🙌🏼 Feel free to reach out to us anytime here when we can be of help. We hope to hear from you again soon, stay safe ❤️
My whole year at DLI in Monterrey, we used to go to the Naval base and do TES at the Petty Officer Club. Back when you didn’t need to wear pants so tight you could hear your ID screaming for mercy.
That’s awesome to hear! Glad y’all are rocking AT tires as well! We absolutely love them as well, it’s great to hear from you guys 😊 hope y’all have a wonderful week, we will catch up with you again soon!!!
You need to get some toppers for trailer. No more sweeping them off any more. They all so helps keep the trailer little cooler. That is one best upgrade I did to my trailer. Be safe in your travels.
The Electric Slide was created in 1976 at the height of the disco era. The original choreography has 22 steps, but variants include the Freeze, Cowboy Motion, Cowboy Boogie, and the Electric Slide 2. The 18-step variation became popular in 1989. It is often confused with the bus stop AKA the L.A. Hustle which came out in 1974. Not to give my age away but i used to do those dances as well as Disco and Break. Man i am glad you guys were able to get your slides in or you would have missed the party....LOL. Happy Trails.
The amount of weight on each axle determines best tire pressures. Empty truck with a diesel engine will need higher pressure on front axle, loaded with trailer, rear axle will need higher pressure (closer to max recommended pressure) Weight distribution bars on non fifth wheel trailers will require more front to back equality. The key is too low a pressure will cause a tire to heat up more and has a greater chance of failure. Another indicator is too low or high pressure will cause the tires to wear uneven. Hope this helps. Love you guys.
Hey Hilton! This makes a lot of sense 🙂👍🏼 Thank you for taking the time to write this out for us and everyone reading! You have a lot of great knowledge to share Keep these great comments coming, you mean a lot to us Hilton! Cheers 😃👋🏼
A/T tires are always quieter than the mudders. Smoother too. On my dually I run 80 psi in the front and 65 in the rear. There's a huge load on the front axle with a Cummins 6 and that huge transmission. Mfg recommends these pressures and my tires wear we'll set at those pressures. Great vid as usual! Good luck with the rig repairs and stay safe!
Hey Kevin! You are so right, the all-terrain‘s are a game changer 😁 this is a great point, thank you so much for sharing this with us! Stay safe and we will talk to you again soon - Kyle and Renee
Kevin! Ney Ney and Carl here 🙂👋🏼 We are reaching out to see how things are going for you? We have been running our A/T a decent amount lately and recently got them rotated. Still really happy with them, they have been a great addition for the truck. What's new on your side of the world? We just wanted to say we are thinking of you and hope you are doing well. Stay safe!
@@HappilyEverHanks All is well here. We just returned to our "home base" for a couple of months for some doctors appointments and so forth. We went to Texas, Georgia Kentucky for the Ark Encounter, Iowa 80 truck stop, South Dakota for some vehicle logistics issues and returned to our home base in the Peoples Republik of Commiefonya. Will be headed out on our next trip sometime after the new year, haven't decided where yet, but that's half the fun! Safe travels to you and Ney Ney from us!
I am glad to see you put some AT tires on your Duramax! I have AT tires on my Duramax also. Paid $500 less than you guys for 35.4”x13x20 at Discount Tire but, that was 2 years ago. Don’t forget that Discount Tire does FREE balance and rotations on your tires every 5,000 miles. That will help them to last longer and ride smoother. You can do that at any Discount Tire location. If you make an appointment you skip the walk-in customers. Looks great, safe travels!
Maybe tire prices have gone up recently. We have been reading that a lot of people have payed less for them 🤭 Oh well! Dee definitely needed them lol This is fantastic information! I had no idea that Discount Tire does a free balance and rotations 😃🙌🏼 Thank you so much for this!! It’s the small things that make our day!!
@@HappilyEverHanks I am sure the prices have gone up. I am even seeing tire shortages of certain sizes or brands. Good thing you got yours when you did. Yes, they do free balance and rotations if you buy your tires from them. With Discount Tire in many states you can hopefully get that done every 5k-6k miles. One of the main reasons I buy all my tires from them. It will save you money down the road for the life of the tire. I got 100k miles out of a set of AT tires on one of my trucks. Keeping them balanced and rotated helped.
Their web site says the purchase includes free air check, rotation and flat repair. I think you may have to purchase their road hazard for the free balance.
Wow! NayNay you looked awesome driving the big Dee....doesn't it feel like you have a little extra "power" when driving the boss around? When I'm driving our Chevy High Country, I crank up the tunes, roll the windows down and hang my arm out the window like the cool country dudes 😎...🤣 Glad the tires are new and the RV is about to be back to normal. Glad you have some good friends to hang with during the down time🌻🌼 Hugs and love to you both from Florida 🍹🏖⭐🥰🌴💜💚🌻

I was just singing that song to my daughter yesterday, and she looked at me weird when I sand the “boogie woogie woogie 🎶 “ part 😄 Had to show her lol.
Well guys, it's always so much fun to watch you. We totally find ourselves in your videos and the mistakes (You) we made in the beginning (this year). This year....?! Yes we just started to RV and we love it. After almost 4000 miles with our trailer (traveling trailer and not a fifth wheel) we had some situations too. We are super sorry about the tree which hit your trailer and we are glade you guys are doing well. We subscribed at so many channels, but it is just awesome to follow you guys. I am defiantly not bored in my life but you guys just share the same kind of humor. Keep it up and keep on going. Good bless you and stay safe out there.
Thank you so much Ralf!! It’s so nice to meet you 😀👋🏼 congrats on the new RV lifestyle! You guys have soooo many upcoming adventures to look forward to We really appreciate your words of support, thank you for taking the time to write this out for us 😊 What kind of RV are you guys traveling in?
Doing the electric slide... I run 75 psi in the rear tires and 65 in the front tire when I am towing. I have E rated 10 ply. The high psi in the rear is so the tire can take the weight of your unit. You can't go by the door sticker because that is for factory tires. Mine were 2 ply lite truck tires originally. Useless for towing. Nice looking new boots for Dee.
This is what I have been going by as well Wayne! As soon as we got home, I ended up increasing the pressures in the rear and keeping the fronts around 65. They are great tires, we are really happy to have them 😊🙌🏼
Carl and Naynay, the reason the fronr tires are 10 less than the rear tires, is the axle weight of the tow package and the weight distribution of the 5th wheel and the hit h in the bed of the truck.
Bring the tires to the Max PSI (when COLD!) indicated on the sidewall. All the same PSI. The Tire doesn’t know if it’s on the front or rear. BUT, if the sticker on the door jam gives two different PSI’s, one for front and a different one for rear, in that case, follow the stickers directions.
This is really great information! Thank you so much for sharing, we will be sure to check out these inflation tables as we have never heard of this before 😃
The door sticker is Absolutely Obsolete if you are not running stock size tires. You are better off reading All the information on the sidewall and following the manufacturer ratings. For instance it should be different if you're running Srw or Drw and payload.
I have the same tire on a ram 2500. I run 75 psi all the way around. They wear really good that way. I've had the original tako and loves them and ran them at 75 psi all the way around.
We get our Tires in the hood same tires take offs $ 750 out the door Had 200 miles on them. I agree 👍 Excellent choice. We got ours Pure Luck ! Motor City Advantage. You are great Laugh 😂 More content would be great. 🙏

I have a crazy idea -- we could all send video of us doing the slide and then you guys could do a fun vid? Dee looks great, I'm ditching my mud tires next change out too...I hope gas mileage improves! Oh and I'm on my second clock...remember your photo that nearly got stuck? Yeppers, glass everywhere!

The Electric Slide song is actually named "Electric Boogie" by Marcia Griffiths and was released during the disco era in 1976.
That’s very interesting it, thank you so much for sharing Stacie! Now I definitely need to look up Marcia Griffith 😁🙌🏼
I think possibly The Electric Slide is a dance move 🤔
But it came about because of the song.
Either way it's Awesome 👍
I was dancing to that song since the 90's, see also "the Bartman". Like a line dance.

I’m glade that your house is not to badly damaged so you can make it in for repairs
Hope to meet up one day for some cool refreshing beverages and some good stories
Keep up the good work!!
That would be great! Thanks for watching and the great information you shared!

I DIDNT TOW A 5th wheel but it was a nice and notable change. Safe travels y’all! Stay safe!
Smart smart smart on the clock reminder sticker, or tape, or decal!

Funny, you did what all of us in Cleveland TN do when it comes to big purchases… road trip to Fort Oglethorpe, Dalton, or Ringgold GA! Really appreciate your videos!
Lol that’s so great! We weren’t alone! Thanks for watching!
Yes, I am of the age where the Electric Slide was an obligatory dance to know for all of the dances and places to go out and dance. Brings back fond memories, and I bet most of us can still remember all the steps. Love the new tires, and I'm so glad that the slides went back in without a hitch!
It’s def a good dance! Thanks for watching and sharing 😃
Yall will like Bill and Deb his really big and talented!
I am with Ney… “Are you in denial? Yep!” 😂 oh just go get a little mud on the tires… 🎼🎸 Keep your fun going and safe travels in Michigan!
Thank you so much Julie!
Getting started on the RV life. Next week 😊😍
Love the way new tires roll so smooth.. sick clip
Lol thanks Brett!!
I have had BFGoodrich All Terrains on every truck I have owned for 20 years.
Love the positive attitudes
Thank you Kenneth! Appreciate your support!
My whole year at DLI in Monterrey, we used to go to the Naval base and do TES at the Petty Officer Club. Back when you didn’t need to wear pants so tight you could hear your ID screaming for mercy.
Thank you so much for sharing Jeff, it’s great to hear from you 😃👍🏼
We went to AT tires on your truck! We love them!
Thats a great price for those tires!
Nice! Maybe we will get them someday! Thanks for sharing!
Electric Slide...boogie woogie woogie woogie! Awesome dance song!!!
Lol love this Suzy!!! You totally know what it is 😎🙌🏼 Wahoo Suzy!
@@HappilyEverHanks Best weeding reception line dance of all time!
I know! Kyle is way behind on the times 😂😂👍🏼
Thank you so much for sharing! This is so great! The more you know, right?! Let’s meet up and do these dances! Lol
We did the same thing. Definitely quieter.
The “Electric Slide” is a wedding reception song in Pennsylvania. Lol.
LOL is that right? Must be a PA thing 😜 Thank you so much Rusty!!
In Georgia too🤣
I love that song!! And dancing. Let’s hit the floor NeyNey. I got you 😉
That sounds awesome! 😃 - Thanks for watching!
Hey Hilton! This makes a lot of
sense 🙂👍🏼 Thank you for taking the time to write this out for us and everyone reading! You have a lot of great knowledge to share
Keep these great comments coming, you mean a lot to us Hilton!
Dee definitely needed them lol
This is fantastic information!
Love the Electric Slide!!! Do the dance!
I (Ney Ney) remember 75% of the moves! I’ll need help! Thanks for watching!
Hey Lisa! We are so happy to hear from you 😃❤️🤗 thanks girl! It sure does!! Dee is such a fun truck to drive around. You sit up so high, you feel like you can take on anything lol
Love that y’all are rocking the Chevy High Country 😎 it sounds like a beautiful truck

I was just singing that song to my daughter yesterday, and she looked at me weird when I sand the “boogie woogie woogie 🎶 “ part 😄

WOW!! Thank you so much 🤗❤️ This means a lot to us Kerry! Have a wonderful upcoming week, talk to you again soon!
You’re both nuts… and I love it!
You guys have soooo many upcoming adventures to look forward to
We really appreciate your words of support, thank you for taking the time to write this out for us 😊 What kind of RV are you guys traveling in?
Doing the electric slide... I run 75 psi in the rear tires and 65 in the front tire when I am towing. I have E rated 10 ply. The high psi in the rear is so the tire can take the weight of your unit. You can't go by the door sticker because that is for factory tires. Mine were 2 ply lite truck tires originally. Useless for towing.
Nice looking new boots for Dee.
This is what I have been going by as well Wayne! As soon as we got home, I ended up increasing the pressures in the rear and keeping the fronts around 65. They are great tires, we are really happy to have them 😊🙌🏼
Congratulations on the new tires. 🎉🎉🎉 I was so happy to see the slides still working. 🙂
Thanks Adrian!! 😃😃😃
Love the Electric Slide ❤
Lovin’ me some Happy Hanks lovin’ their new tires!!
Thank you so much Terri! We always appreciate your support!
Great advice!! Door jam stickers are so difficult to read. I try to follow that and an app on my phone.
This is really great information! Thank you so much for sharing, we will be sure to check out these inflation tables as we have never heard of this before 😃
The door sticker is Absolutely Obsolete if you are not running stock size tires.
You are better off reading All the information on the sidewall and following the manufacturer ratings.
For instance it should be different if you're running Srw or Drw and payload.
check the tire pressure sticker in the driver's door frame. that is the recommended pressure based on the max weight in the truck.
This is wonderful to know David! Thank you so much for taking the time to write this out 😃👍🏼 keep these wonderful comments coming!!
I have the same tire on a ram 2500. I run 75 psi all the way around. They wear really good that way. I've had the original tako and loves them and ran them at 75 psi all the way around.
Oh very good to know! Thank you for sharing this 🙂🙌🏼 How is your weekend going??
@@HappilyEverHanks it's going great and yours.
Nice 👍🏼 It’s been a relaxing one here!
We get our Tires in the hood same tires take offs $ 750 out the door

I have a crazy idea -- we could all send video of us doing the slide and then you guys could do a fun vid? Dee looks great, I'm ditching my mud tires next change out too...I hope gas mileage improves! Oh and I'm on my second clock...remember your photo that nearly got stuck? Yeppers, glass everywhere!

Carl - Electric Slide is a song often played at weddings in which a line dance is done. So much better than the Chicken dance 💃 💃 💃 💃.
Ney Ney is not Cra! Cra!🤪🤪
Dexter was smart to stay out of sight.🐈
Carl you should add some pepperoni to the cheese on your roof (jk). Hang in there kids. #love the hanks🥰❤

I said it before but again, you guys are great. Love the videos.

Great job! I've been using BF Goodrich All Terrain tires for my F-250 for several years. On my second set. They are excellent tires. Bought the first set at Discount Tire too.
