Not a card game, but dice! When my wife and I go camping with my parents, we always try to get adjacent sites. One of the games we love to play is Left-Right-Center, where everyone starts off with 3 quarters. Depending on which direction you roll is where you pass your quarter.

We have epic games of Skip Bo that drag on for hours, (pack snacks!) then whoever is losing it literally trying to "redeem their good name" for the rest of the trip so we have to play SO many rounds because we are both SUPER competitive!!! Our pugs travel along so we are going to have to teach them to pull their weight by cutting the deck. Fun video, thanks for sharing.

Love your videos! I recently started watching them from the beginning. I would love to be out in our rv more but we do what work permits. If you are looking for a good card game, my husband and I get pretty competitive with rummy. Few glasses of wine and you get rummy playing rummy.

Just want you two to know I am binge watching your videos. Discovered you recently and I keep coming back for more. My husband enjoys you, too. You are so entertaining and uplifting and funny. I greatly admire that you are also first responders, which makes you heroes. So glad you have struck a balance in your lives and that you are really living life so well. My husband and I spent a year out on the road in our 5th wheel and thoroughly enjoyed it. We hope to be able to do it again. We toured the perimeter of the USA, starting from our home base in Oregon, to Idaho to visit our son, and across the upper states (loved Glacier NP and the upper peninsula of Michigan - want to go back) and into Canada (the maritimes). Spent quite a bit of time in Maine, down the east coast, and wintered in Florida. We did that in a 2002 McKenzie Monaco Medallion 5th wheel (wonderful) from May 2014 to May 2015. We now have a 2017 Highland Ridge Open Range Light 5th wheel. We drove to Wisconsin to get it in October 2017. We love your adventures.

Mostly staying up on cleaning out the litter box eliminates the smell. We actually made a video on living on the road with a cat. I will leave it below if you want more information on it.

My wife and I are full time in a 42 ft Dynamax Trilogy 3850RL 5th wheel. We love to play a game we call Take 2. Its a form of speed scrabble and is a cutthroat game.

You guys kill me. Great actors for sure. My wife and I are close to retirement, within 2 years. We have been seasonal campers for about 25 years now, and are debating either full time for a few years, or get a home base and full time half of the year. up in the air yet. We did get a 2018 GMC 3500HD Denali like yours as step 1 in travelling. We are looking at the Solitude 310GK. Watching this video, what kind of Nav do you have in your truck? looks different than what I have.

That's great, we had a home base for the first two years but never spent much time there, always had our stuff in the RV! Love the solitude 310GK as well, great rig! The nav system was just our iphones plugged into car play in the truck. Easier to use than the built in nav system and can easily navigate songs on iphone or podcasts also! If you don't have a TSD logistics card for your diesel, I recommend it. Seriously good discounts at TA and Petro, and decent discounts at Loves and some other stations. Also, many Cabela's have dump stations which are cheaper than Flying J, Pilot or others ($5.00 I think).
We finally just applied for a TSD card!! Now we are just waiting for it to arrive in the mail. Why is TSD offering such great discount for a free program?

OMG! Your cat looks identical to ours. We were wondering what we were going to do with her when we went full time on the road, but apparently it's very possible to still have a cat and full time RV. Thanks for the video!
Dexter loves the full-time life! He sleeps in his oversized cage in the truck during travel days like a toddler and then the first thing he does when he gets in the RV at the new location #1 stretch those legs #2 look out screen door for birds...it's a very important schedule 😆

A lot of Maverick gas stations have free dumps. Very dependent on where you are at. I know 1 in Grand Junction, CO has 1 for sure. I'm 90% sure Utah has them too. A lot of rest areas have dumps that are free out here, Wyoming has some really "nice" places to dump.

Our card game of choice is Gin Rummy. We usually keep the tv off and go full on with the cards. Good times.

We are weekend warriors currently but spend a week camping with friends all over the state of michigan. Favorite card game Euchre 4 handed and 6 handed Rummy if its just Laurel and I or backgammon...travel safe Kyle and Renee.

Ours is 260RD (29 feet and a few inches)...cozy luxury for us and our intrepid Springer Spaniel, Belle. It’s 20 degrees here in upstate NY this morning so getting all the plumbing up and at ‘em this weekend prolly won’t be a-happenin but our maiden voyage is in 2 weeks and we are optimistic we’ll be back into nice spring temps by then. I saw some of your episodes on Winter in PA and wonder this: were you always operating on water on-board? Seems like you couldn’t have depended on a hose when it was sub freezing. Are your tanks well enough heated to withstand winter with the insul-board around the outside?
Oh that sounds perfect, the size you have is really nice. We started off with a 27 foot travel trailer and now are in a 34 foot fifth wheel. Honestly 34 is really big for some parks. Seems like you guys will have some great flexibility with 29 feet 😃

We did run all the time with just water in the fresh holding tank. We don’t have a heated hose, so during the day we would fill up the fresh water, drain the hose and run our water through the water pump. Also the skirting was a mandatory thing (I kyle didn’t think it would need to be because we have the heated underbelly).... but I was wrong. One morning we woke up and it was 3 degrees outside. Despite the furnace blowing all night, the pipes froze on us.
We immediately got skirting and never had another issue since. It really cut down on cost of propane as well because we weren’t going through nearly as much 🙂

You guys are adorable!! We're leaving on our first trip of the 2021 season today, and are bringing our 18 and 2 year old cats for the first time!! We brought them out to our camper at the storage lot a couple of weeks ago, and I'm happy to say they didn't fuss or scream on the ride there, or in the camper! Calming treats helped for sure! Today will be a 2 hour drive, so I'm nervous!! BTW, I'd be feeding those outside kitties too!! "You act like I had a choice. When the wife asks you to do something..." LOL!! 😻

I learned how to play cribbage while deployed in support of Desert Strom. Combat Cribbage is the best!
We play several card games, but the one I like the most is Sequence it’s a card/board game
We have heard of Sequence before, but have never played! Maybe one day you will be able to teach us 😁We love learning new games!!
If you want to have some real fun go to Winchester Bay, Oregon, and rent a Quad and ride on the big sand dunes. It is so much fun and has great views of the coast.

Thanks for asking, it's coming along got my pre-employment physical done today. Yeah there's tons of paperwork to do but since I have some extra time I've been Johnny on the spot to get all that done on the quick.

Not sure if this is the right video (been watching as many from your channel as I can) and by the way you guys have the best content I've seen out of anyone offering RV tips!
In one of your videos a picture fell when one of your "Command Hooks" had peeled off and I'll give you a tip to consider with a trick that I've learned when racing radio control cars to help improve the stick of the tape... always prep the surface with an alcohol swab to de-grease the surface and wipe dry with a clean paper towel... not much different when you prep a patient before sticking them with a needle, ha! I also have learned to use double sided tape from 3M "outdoor rated" as the best tape I've ever used, so if you really like the style of a particular command hook and want peace of mind, then I would peel off the cheap tape that came with it and upgrade to outdoor rated tape :)

When I take family, we play Phase 10, UNO, Trouble...but, usually, I take my dirt bike and escape for the weekend. I'd invite you, but not sure you'd be able to get that monster of a rig where I go! The Black Hills of South Dakota. Near Mt. Rushmore, I know you've been there, I watched the vid the other day. So, you know what I'm talking about...a little, mostly secluded area, where the nearest 'neighbors' are cattle...under a couple of trees so there's no need for the A/C....set up camp, go ride for 5-6 hours, come back to camp, eat, then go ride some more.

I noticed you have a Companion slider. Did you have it when you tapped the the cab of your truck? I just bought a chevy silverado 2500hd shortbed after pulling with a F250 longbed 2006. I have a 2014 Montana High Country 38 ft. Never had a problem with tight turns. Still have my Husky 26k hitch. But now I'm leary about what you did to your truck.
Hey Vincent! Yes we have always had the companion slider. The main culprit of the situation was that we didn’t slow down. We did not engage the slider hitch when we should have and this could’ve all been prevented. (Definitely adds salt to the wound)
Ever since the situation, we have never had a problem. We are made it a priority to slow down and assess every situation. Honestly, I wouldn’t stress it too much. Just learn from our mistakes 🙂
We haven’t needed to engage the slider since this incident. It’s funny how the one and only time we needed the slider, we failed to slow down and actually use it 😅 oh well, live and learn right?
I spent a long time playing Cribbage. I found your channel along with FOS and KYD and PYP and a few others trying to get the info before my daughter and I started RV-ing in between moves. It's funny it took till I saw a cribbage board to comment. Keep it up, daughter loves watching your channel. Keep it real, and thanks for the winter tips about the freezing pipes.

I don't think you will find a better card game for two people than cribbage. Muggins will strengthen your marriage - or not. For 4 people, euchre is OK but bridge is king. Not a card game, but another good game for two people is crokinole. The board is large but stores OK in an RV.

@@HappilyEverHanks you can and we actually did, but they may be gone as they leave when it starts getting warmer, usually end of March first of April. There are so full time resident Manatees they keep at the State Park in Homosassa Springs you can see if the wild ones are gone. You can't snorkel with them there though. We loved the "Nature Coast" area! Have a blast!

There are a few Pilots that have rv fuel/dump stations. The Pilot in Murdo SD has rv fuel, can't remember if it has a dump station or not.
Yeah we love Pilot and Flying J’s! We have noticed that the Flying J’s have been most reliable for having RV fuel lanes.
