    I’m taking a month long meditation challenge that I’ve been doing every morning. I’m also exercising three times a week. I had a traumatic experience a few years ago and became afraid of driving. I’ve been driving twice a week for a few miles and am getting much more comfortable with it. I use a lot of affirming self talking when driving, and it helps.

    Reading/Listening to the entire Bible over the course of the next year, workout every morning for atleast 10 min. Drink a cup of coffee and cuddle my pup before work everyday 🙂

    Taking better care of myself is actually my new years resolution! I even got a journal to keep track of how I'm doing and make sure I'm taking care of myself in multiple categories, like mental health, social health, physical health, and my environment

    Tip # 39 for saving your money, when items in the grocery store reach their best before date or sometimes before the date, staff with put a reduced sticker on the merchandise to make a quick sale, the items usually are still fine to eat, your job would be to find those items and reap the benefit.

      I got those habits recently. For walking I found something pleasurable to look forward: my husband and I have a cup of coffee each day in a cafe that is about 20 minutes of walk away. We enjoy the coffee first and then we enjoy the way back home. About eating healthy we chose a weekly meal plan. It is the same every week unless we decide we want something different a certain day. In this plan I made sure I included at least one meal made of legumes and three meals of fish. After a year we have decided to reduce also meat, so we only eat meat once a week (we eat more veggies as a main dish instead of only as a side, and more legumes). It simplyfies your life as you mainly shop for the same groceries every week and always know what to cook for dinner.

    Getting organized is such a big one! I’ve been doing this lately by making a set schedule, decluttering my phone, and decluttering Instagram. I’ve already noticed a huge change. Especially after going through 2020 where everyday was monotonous and disorganized.

    My self-care goal for 2021 is to continue a daily yoga practice. This can be as big as a 30-minute flow or as small as a 5-minute restoration session. My goal is to integrate the breath/ movement connection into my day as often as possible.

I’ve been feeling really overwhelmed with the amount of clutter and stuff I have lying around in my apartment lately, it got to a point when I feel like it’s affecting my mental health. And then I found your channel. It has been a Godsend! I’m trying, slowly and probably poorly, to organize my life better and declutter my space and I wouldn’t be able to do it without you.     I had a hard time recognizing thirst. I always thought it was hunger. Reading about PCOS, which is what I have, taught me about thirst. I had no idea.

    Less screen time when possible. I'll definitely try to incorporate looking away from the desktop screen for 20 seconds after 20 minutes of work. I'm 9 days into the decluttering challenge and I'm already feeling so much better. Glad I found this channel last week!

    Regarding hydration - lesson learned with carrying for elderly grandmother, the elderly often don't "feel" thirsty and so they don't drink enough water. UTIs are a common cause of infection and death in the elderly. So going by feeling may not be the best solution as you grow older. Thank you for the Care/Of info - I am going to check that out right away! Love your channel, dear! Wish I had your energy. Maybe Care/Of can help :)

    I love these tips, Ashlynne! So doable! I want to get back to going on walks this year and staying hydrated, as well as stretching during the day to release tension. I loved that you mentioned stretching in your 5 Easy Ways to De-Stress video, so I started to stretch more frequently and have found it to be such a huge help for making me feel comfortable throughout the day.

    Hey Ashlynne, just a heads up! The twist you did on the stretching part (with one leg bent and the other straight) You're supposed to turn towards the side of your bent leg, not the other way around (i.e. if your right leg is bent, you put your left elbow on it and turn your torso to the right). Great video as always!

    One thing I've been trying to do every day (ether when I wake up or before I start working) is to meditate for at least 2 or 3 minutes. My intention with this habit is to have it transition into daily stretching or yoga the following month since I haven't been consistent with that. On an separate note, I hope you enjoyed the holiday season, Ashlynne, and that you've been taking care of yourself as well!

    I plan on eating at least one healthy meal a day. And eating at least one fruit a day and increasing it slowly from there.

      Meal plan. Come up with a plan of 7 healthy meals you love and repeat every week. If you ever feel like something special or a new recipe, go ahed. If you don’t, go to your default plan. Simplifies your groceries and saves mental energy (no decission making)

    you wouldn't believe how much i needed a vid like this - 2020 seriously kicked my but, including bereavements, housing issues and health issue etc, part of my 2021 resolution is to better my own self care - I.e slowing down, tackling one task in a day instead of several - particularly if i'm tied and i'm having a bad day mental health wise. I've also started a nightly relaxation routine before bed. I will definitely be incorporating stretches into it from now on! love your vidseos Ashlynne - you've given huge inspiration where in comes to de-cluttering and self care so thank you ❤

    Before take vitamin supplements it’s important to talk with a doctor first and do some exams to check if you really need those vitamins (because you have a deficiency) or not.

    Actually I didn't drink enough water throughout day I always forgot to drink water. now in 2021 I am trying to drink at least 2 to 3 bottle of water and that actually helped me lot with my body condition 😃👍.
