I get you earning your money through minimalism on TH-cam, but I really think you need to keep making your watercolors and then make a gallery wall out of them. The hallway, the guest bath, your office, somewhere ... because the few you have shown are so lovely. Minimalist have gallery walls too. 🙂
I love waking up earlier as a mom any amount of time I get to myself to take care of myself mentally and prepare for the day is so helpful. Your voice is so soothing and your videos are so relatable ❤️
Another incredible video, Ashlynne! Im a huge advocate for waking up early! The day can throw so much at us, so by starting strong, we can take charge instead of it taking charge of us. On a farm, so much can need immediate attention. Allowing those extra minutes early in the morning has been something I never regret.
If you want to experience significant progress toward your goal, you need to be intentional about the work you are doing every day. Living intentionally has changed my life for good..These are some great habits Ashlynne..❤❤
I have been practicing all of these things without realizing just how much they have changed my life. Slow mornings help me so much because I am not a morning person. It’s a gentle way to experience my favorite things more richly.
Oh gosh! When I go hiking in the beautiful mountains, with the sounds of the wind or birds and I see someone with earphones I wonder why! LOL what really baffles me is when they play music out loud so everyone hears...now that is annoying! Thank you for actually explaining why waking up early is beneficial, no one really mentions why...great tips! Thanks!
I put down the Guinness about a fortnight ago and have got a clear mind and a rush of energy to live the life I want and not the life that has me reaching for the drink after a long and tiresome day in a tiresome home in a tiresome life. So I found a few Ted Talks that randomly led me here and I am finding the video so helpful just a wee bit in. Thank you for sharing these things, I'll look further into living with intention.
This past year I've been intentionally resting on Sabbath and it has changed my health and my entire life. The past few months while trying to wrap up my senior year of college there have been times I had not been so intentional about Sabbath and rest and I could feel the anxiety amd sickness creeping in again. So I'm back to that intentionality. It's so so important. Thanks for this video! Love it❤
I practise more or less all these habits and they really help me to stay calm and motivated during stressful situations in my daily life. I spontaneously reorganised my daily life during the last couple of years but I'm still working on these habits and my mindset to fully incorporate a mindful way of living.
Tip #1 is my favorite! And I definitely need to incorporate this into my life. As a tired mom of four littles, I'm constantly trying to get as much sleep as I can and I get up when the kids do, so my days usually start with a bang. I feel like if I can take you advice and start earlier, slowly and intentionally; I can take back control of my chaotic days. Thank you for your amazing content! Your videos have been amazingly helpful!
I really NEED to slow down and be truly intentional. I mean I am as mindful as possible for now, but I need to try harder, and not wonder so much! That being said, I'll go and read a book now, helps me stay in the present moment!
Something I picked back up is to be more intentional in my marriage with journaling. If you journal your communication you can pin point areas to improve on and think on how to approach it best.
@@hereshow375 thank you as well and yes, let's practise staying in the present, it really works if we want to decrease the stress levels! At the end of the day, the only time that really exists it's the present, not the past nor the future, then why be somewhere that doesn't't exist?
I prefer to listen to calming music or audiobooks in my earbuds rather than the music they play over the gym and grocery store loud speakers. 😅 However, if you combine this idea with the idea of walks in nature, I am totally with you! Listening to the sounds of nature is the best music in my opinion. 🥰 Great reminders.
Another great video Ashlynne. I have really been trying to make an effort to pop the ear buds out once in awhile, especially walking in nature where there is already a soundtrack.
@@AshlynneEaton Thank you so much for being so proactive. That was exactly what I was thinking. Again, very good video and being mindful especially when I read comments. :)))
I would love to see a video on what these “true restful” habits are. I can take a guess at some, but I’m really looking at incorporating something like this because I so often just completely crash and burn if I don’t take regular rest. I end up needing the same amount anyway, but it’s spent on mindless rest and super guilty feelings over the things I am unable to accomplish. It’s definitely not healthy so I am try to do some restructuring to allow more of these habits, especially the walks. I sit ALL DAY since I work an office on job and am not really allowed to get up and walk around. Thanks for this video! Definitely gave me some ideas!
Thanks Ashlynne for sharing your tips. Yes it seems everyone spends top much time on their phone. We need to learn to live in the moment. When I take a walk in nature I'm looking and observing what's around me being in the moment
I love to look at the trees. The weird shaped ones. I also try to observe when I go for a drive with my husband. Even going to the " dump" can be enjoyable if you are intentional about how you do things.
Hello, thank you very much for your advice. There was something internal in me that said live with intention and simply the phrase live with intention triggers it, your advice is really very good.
I'd have to get up *really* early lol, due to the fact I work early. I need that sleep as much as I need to not feel rushed. I found that giving myself 45 minutes to get ready in the morning is enough. I don't feel rushed.
1 Peter 5:10, KJV: "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." Amen!
Definitely can try to incorporate some of these, but it is definitely hard to do the first one when I am already having to get up at 4am to get to work by 5am.
I love living slow and intentionally. But every once in a while my mental pr physical health go downhill and it becomes hard to stay on track. And then I struggle to get out of that rut. Dealing with that right now.
Okay so I’m the first 18 seconds of the video you showed a pearl cati plant 🌱 and I’ve been wanting one and can’t find them in any stores I look where did you find yours and how much because they are so beautiful ☺️
I was thinking about people who get up super early, but then I thought of my dad. He has to be at work at 5 or 6 am most days and gets up at 3:45 or earlier so he can go to the gym before work. That’s his favorite place before a stressful day and helps him so much. Granted, he goes to bed at 8, but it’s worth it to him to get that gym time in.

So true the thing about silence! I try to drive to my work without radio and just listening the early morning.

In Swissgerman we often says “wart hurti” what means wait quickly. Take the time you need is sometimes not so easy
