Does anyone else notice how the practice is always EXACTLY what you need that day??? It's so crazy to me. What a beautiful moment to pause and go inward. Surgery day for my daughter. I am overwhelmed by the messages I have gotten from this community. To think I have people holding us close all over the world is so powerful. Have an amazing day all, and thank you!💕

🌞Day 11🌞 What a swift and sweet practice✨The intentional breathing helped me to get rid of my headache today, yay!! I considered adding a short flow (I need some movement to warm up my body in the morning) but I think I will instead turn to a dance session while making breakfast because I’m in a good mood haha! Hope you enjoy your day everyone❤

Same, I'm noticing so many benefits, and it sounds mad to me, but it's given me a lot more awareness of things that worry me and empowering me to tackle them.
Anyone else developed muscles they never thought they had from these 11 days? I even have muscles either side of my spine I didn’t know existed 😂 Much love to you all on Day 11 ❤

In a really odd place in life right now. After six months trying to recover from an eating disorder I feel so lost and lonely. I am 5 days behind in this challenge and I am so much weaker and less flexible than I used to be. But I feel so inspired by reading all the comments and how everyone shows up on the mat with their own battles❤️ You got this.

What a lovely and supportive comments section! I found today quite tough, and was glad to see a few other comments who felt the same. I love the freedom that more vigorous flows give me, not having to hold a pose for too long is definitely my comfort zone. Slowing things down today gives more time for my brain to mull things over and that was uncomfortable! Plus I was cold and stiff after just waking up. Was thinking I probably should have left this one for the evening, but I think the 'lesson' was to accept my limitations. To meet myself where I am, and not to be afraid to slow down. Thanks everyone :)
Glad I read this comment. It was tough for me too. I couldn't do anything. I think I'm not flexible at all I'll get there someday hopefully. Thanks for your words, I did learn a lesson today, accept my limitations.
BENJI WATCH DAY 11: Benji started off at the back of the mat, laid down. Got a lil pat on the head from Ade and then went off frame. Shortly returned back in frame and went to the back of the mat to take a well deserved power nap.

Me too! There was no folding until I forgave myself and bent my knees out but the journey of self acceptance is greater than my journey of flexibility!
My little dog, who usually waits for the music at the end to greet me, heard me sigh and cone to me as if to say "I want to share the love" . A magical day indeed!❤
Today I am a CAT. If our breath is our soul, today I am a bit congested and my breath is a purr. Therefore.. I will embrace my new cat life by napping and playing.

Doing Adriene's videos has helped me a lot not only physically but also mentally. At the moment I am getting rid of pain in my right sight hip and knee. Who else gets excited when Adriene says we're starting in extended child's pose?! What a lovely and delicious practice ♥I remembered I had coconut oil with essential oils on my night stand and rubbed that in as I gave my feet a much needed massage. I'm loving this series!
My monkey mind was unable to settle until the final sigh, so I added another round of breathing meditation. Thank you for the prompting to slow down and be.

Hi everyone, I’m back here after 4 days of not practicing. Thank you so much for this sequence Adriene! I’m grateful that this practice was a nice slow peace to ease back into a routine. Even if I didn’t do the 30 days one day after the other I’m not giving up this year. I’m telling myself is better to do it even if takes 40 days than to quit halfway. Last night was the 2nd night that I slept through the night without waking up...in...I don't even know how long. I've known I need a better mattress than the one I have. I attribute this good sleep 100% to this practice. Thank you, Adriene!
Day 11 in heaven! My sweet dog has been in so much pain the past few days and it has been breaking my heart. I did this practice after taking her to the vet today and discovering she needs surgery. My soul needed this.

I'm a 63 year old male giving yoga a try for the first time and enjoying it so far but wish I was as supple as Adrienne. If you could have seen how different we looked doing that bit with both legs outstretched trying to rest my head on the floor!🤣
“A flash of surrender letting go of the day thus far” is always helpful for me. Even though I often practice in the morning it’s amazing how many anxious thoughts and feelings you can collect in just an hour after waking up. I get to start over, if I want to!

This morning I dreamt I was sitting next to three dogs sitting down next to me. I reached out and gently pet each of their paws. When I saw you give Benjie’s paws a little massage it instantly reminded me of my dream and made my heart smile.

I'm a regular yogi and have been following along here for years. Not once have I accomplished the 30 days within Jan, but this year on track and cruising. My plank felt stronger by day 2. This morning, I noticed definition in my triceps when getting ready. I am noticing different muscles in my body engaging when I go about my day. The 'magic' of daily yoga has just shown up again.
I love taking a screenshot before and after my practice so I can see how many people are with me real-time. Such a cool feeling. ✨️💜

Day 11 - I'm in heaven. I saved this for the evening when I knew I would need it. I feel calmer because of it. ❤ Boyfriend had to travel home (England) today, and I knew I'd feel off when I got home. I did this right before midnight, I’m aiming to not skip a day no matter how tired I am. It’s also a comfort knowing that I can do this at my pace and that gives me the motivation to try my best.

I really needed this today, had to stop everything in my day to go home because of bad period cramps and I was worried this yoga would be too intense, but it was everything i needed, and when you talked about the weight of anxiety that we hold I started to cry. Heaven sent. My soul is alight and my cup is full to the brim. Tending to oneself never fails to lift my spirits and calm my inner world. Loved, loved this short but sweet, peaceful practice. I’ve been tending to capture each of my practices so far along this journey on a timelapse, just because I was interested to see my alignment, as it’s something I’ve never really analysed before in all my 4 years of practicing, and for the purpose of making my posts on the KULA more interesting but I realised as I started this practice that I had forgotten to do so. Instead of reaching for my phone and setting it up, i decided to let it go and instead melt into the moment allowing myself to tend to my SOUL rather than get caught up in the recording of the physical body. Felt good to let life just FLOW. Everything is as it should be - i knew this in that moment and decided to go with the path that the universe had clearly paved out for me in todays class. Not in a good headspace today. Had a mental breakdown last night and trying to be gentle with myself this morning is tough. You are new to Adriene's magic I see. Since 2015 I have been waking up and using Adriene's Yoga to keep me moving after my car accident, physical stress, and rehab to walk again normally and then again after another major fall accident in 2019. This one is harder to recoup from but Adriene's voice has moved me through. And as someone else mentioned it always ends up being the perfect practice for what I needed that day! I came to the mat feeling exhausted and overwhelmed thinking of all the to do's and the little time a day holds to finish everything off. Now I feel much better and motivated again. I feel grateful for this community, for doing this together despite not knowing each other and being spread all over the world. We're in it together! I'm truly grateful for this channel ♥🥰
