      Made it to Day 9!! I still feel ridiculously "clunky" (nothing "flows"), but I found out I still have decent balance so "woohoo" to that.
      Not as sore, except for when we squat at the end of the mat before standing. Left leg just burns - any suggestions to accommodate this so it is not so painful or is it just a strengthening thing that needs time.

    As we prepare for our daughter's brain surgery on Friday (first time typing that - ouch!), I am going to release the worry about it, as it will not serve us. I am saving this practice, so I can do this over and over again - totally felt the energy shift from beginning to end. Hope everyone got their Zoolander on today and knocked loud on heaven's door! Thankful for you all!

    My dear mum died yesterday and after a day full of grieving alongside my family I felt compelled to stick to my YWA routine. I sobbed my heart out while doing it and felt so grateful that Day 8 was named Relax and allowed myself to surrender to it. After another day of grieving but with more smiles and laughter today I feel such strength and peace from today's Release. Much Love to all on this journey whatever we are going through xx Thank you Adriene. xx

    If you get to my comment, then let it be a reminder to always work at your own pace. Last year was my first 30 day challenge which I planned to complete in 30 days but life got in the way and I did it in about 80 days. But I DID finish and that’s a lot more yoga than I did all of the rest of the year. This year, knowing myself, I challenged myself to do this in 60 days: one session every other day. I started a little late but I’ve kept up with my commitment even though I’m pregnant and doing this with modifications. Set realistic goals for yourself and see yourself succeed! 🚀

      Thanks for sharing I have been really frustrated and insecure about myself double doubting if I should give up and if I'm doing it wrong because I'm doing at most 3 days every week but I promise myself that I would complete these 30 days. It feels good to know that we are not alone, and gives me confidence knowing that trying is enough even if it's not perfect. I wish you all the success in your path and I'm greatfull for your indiscriminate words of support.

      Thank you for your message. This is my first year trying the programme, I had to take quite a few days off due to lack of fitness and then life got in the way. But I'm back now and your story helped to remind me to be kind to myself and just keep going!

    It was so hard for me to come to the mat today. I had an emotional night last night with a panic attack, but I did the practice anyway and I'm glad I did. I thought my body wouldn't be capable of some of those poses, but I surprised myself. I'm thankful for this practice today.

    I unfortunately got Covid on 2 January - my fourth infection. I've still been tuning in every day, even though all I do is breathing exercises and some floor work (cat-cows feel so nice on my back after being in bed all day). Then I just watch Adriene and Benji and read all the lovely comments. I join in when we say 'I feel strong' to send my struggling body some positive healing vibes. It's not what I imagined for this month, but I really appreciate having something to look forward to every night and staying in touch with people around the world when I'm isolated at home. Thank you Adriene, and everyone in this community 😊💛

      I felt similar about my airplane arms - I really struggled with keeping the palms facing down and not upward. Glad I'm not the only one who had difficulties with them :) Have a lovely rest of your day!

And who could not be cheered by the wonderful‘knocking on heaven’s door’. Although I was feeling a little sorry for myself at the outset, by the time we got to this part I had a wide grin on my face.       I gasped out loud when I saw it, what a well timed wildlife sighting. I once had a sharp-shinned hawk fly right towards me at eye level and then cut off to one side, it was so cool to have that close encounter ❤

      @@megsuttoncreates ooooh now that you mentioned it, Scooby and I use to do yoga with Adriene & Benji on my patio on early summer mornings. Often I would open my eyes and a hawk would be sitting peacefully on my fence hanging out with us. It happened a few times. Magical! Those were some beautiful mornings!

    i did that with 6259 people this morning! i haven't gotten up this early in a long time (6am) and the reason for that is i have a diploma exam in a few hours. my body was nervous before this, due to nightmares about the exam, and i noticed that. there's a tiny bit of nerves left but i feel centred. before and during my yoga i found happiness in the small moments, and those are the moments that truly matter to me. i looked outside at the darkness and realized "huh, i think i like being up this early" i saw the snow hugging the trees and land outside and i felt a childlike joy. during my downward dog i suddenly felt this joy toward a lamp in the corner of the room. it may sound silly to some but seeing that warm light made me feel cozy inside and i felt so happy to have that. i chose to release control, and expectations of how well i will 'perform' on my exam. any result is okay, all that matters is that i showed up to that exam and tried my very best. i can be a perfectionist, and so usually during exams i would push myself too hard to perfect everything, and i'm going to notice that today and try to keep my time as mindful as possible there. i know i will be okay, like always, despite some discomfort, and i'm looking forward to going for a walk afterwards in the trails in the forest with my mom. good luck future me! and thank you so much for this practice, and if you've read this far thank you for doing this for yourself

    I had a health scare this week, and today at my doctor’s appointment, he told me everything is fine, there’s no need to worry. I am so relieved and happy and joyous over this, and that was enhanced by today’s practice. I was smiling so much during knocking on heaven’s door, it felt incredible ❤

    I release the idea that I'm one day behind. I'm exactly where I need to be. I like to practice first thing in the morning but due to an early work meeting, I had to practice in the afternoon. It's a good reminder for me to be flexible when things don't go according to plan, that's okay, release expectations or attachment, and pick it back up when you can. See y'all on the mat tomorrow!

      It really helped me to make an 'options' or 'possibilities' list instead of a 'to do' list. Now it doesnt feel awful anymore whenever i havent done one/more of my options or possibilities because i didnt obliged myself to do it in the first place. Sadly it mostly only counts for personal live because work will be work lol

    I wanted to write today to feel like a part of the community. I have been going through it these past weeks mentally. So many obsessive thoughts and I am grateful to return to the practice every day and let these go or at least let the expectation of them disappearing go. I am not my obsessive thoughts and I am not my anxiety. 🧘‍♀️❤ Happy day 9 for those who are a few days behind like me. 🎉

    Loved having some spiritual commentary featured in today’s video! I’ve been wondering this past week if Adrienne had decided to stop providing that commentary in her 30-day challenges and I was really starting to miss it! Doing the moves and exercises are helpful, but doing it with statements and thoughts to anchor those moves in is what makes this feel like a true practice to me🙏🏽

    I unexpectedly found myself sobbing during the knocking on heaven's door! I think I've been being very hard on myself recently, and that bit truly felt like a release from it all. I'm feeling called to do a lot less judging of myself, and be a lot kinder. Sending the same hopes to everyone else as well ♥

    Day 9 , and I had the most challanging practice so far. My thoughts were not kind to me today and they kept coming at me like arrows in every posture. But that is okay. See you all tomorrow, and almost 1/3 done already!

    I really wasn't feeling it today but I told myself that 'the hardest part is showing up' and I showed up. Turns out it was actually one of the BEST yoga session's I have had EVER! I felt so balanced and centred and really tapped into my inner (and outer) smile. Thank you Adriene!     I'm doing this practice on the 29th of January, very much feeling behind and before starting today I even wondered if it was even worth it, as the month is coming to an end. For me, this has definitely been a month of trasformation. I began this yoga journey, as I do every year, in holiday mode and in lovely Paris. On the 8th of January I moved out of my parents home to start my new life in Turin, Italy. I felt so weird and agitated in the new house and I didn't feel 'safe' enough to let go and practice for even 20 minutes. I'm now slowly settling into my new life and organically feeling the need to get on the mat again, so right now I just feel immensely grateful for the comfort and the alignment I can always find in these yoga practices! It feels like coming home to myself! From now on, whenever I feel like doing some yoga I will just do it. I guess I could say, today I released the guilt of not following this with the utmost consistency!

    20 min are really just the perfect duration for such a challenge. It is neither too short like 10 min, where you have to stop when you warmed-up, nor is it too long for procrastination to kick in.
    As I am currently doing the challenge on top of my regular workout schedule (all group fitness courses), I was really glad about the relaxed session yesterday. Tuesday is one of my harder days and as I feel like I had a breakthrough with my body awareness last year, I moved with a lot of intention through yesterdays flexibar and deepWork workouts. My muscles got the message that they need to grow to support me so today was accompanied by muscle pain. Good thing today was about release! :D And that I learned through yoga to notice and accept how my body feels.

    I started feeling guilty for being “behind” but I had the worst day at work at a new job, left early and could not stop my mind racing, tried calling friends, taking a bath etc. I needed to let it go!! This yoga practice came in EXACTLY when I needed it. I will never again doubt giving myself grace. Thank you so so much ❤

    Im finding motivation for daily tasks and life a struggle very regularly at the moment but managing to show up everyday for this , this will be my 4th year of 30 days and i know i love it. There is also such love in this community i truly feel part of a yoga family. I have a day off to day stared with sending the kids off to school then yoga , i feel much more awake and motivated so will make the most of it and go for a short walk and have a bath . You are all worthy of self love . Im truly greatful for this channel the 30 day series and the community here ❤❤

    this is the longest i’ve stuck to moving my body with intention in a long time. my body feels wonderful after each session and i definitely have a sense of accomplishment. i’ve also noticed that i’ve been using our breathing tactics throughout the day and it seems to help me some with my anxiety and feeling overwhelmed. i’m really enjoying this practice. thank you ❤❤❤

Had an interaction with someone from my past yesterday that brought back all the negative feelings associated with that former relationship.     Keeping it real here, today's session was tough for me. I feel like I'm not strong or flexible enough, and I'm still stiff from the previous days. I constantly make adjustments and I'm still not able to keep my plank for more than a few secs and also can't manage down dog which is in every practice. This is frustrating. We'll trust the process and see how tomorrow goes. Thanks all, and have a great day / evening 🙏

      I'm a beginner and I also do not master all the poses correctly! And there is no way I can get into the long lunge in one go... I try to not get into a frustration mood, but to enjoy the things I do manage 🙂💪. We keep doing what we can, trying to make some progress - how little it may be - and that in itself is an accomplishment 😇. Take care and hope to see you tomorrow for day 10!

      We are all at different points in our journeys, and that is what it's all about. And it is okay. Listen to your body, and modify what you need to. I remind myself that, as Adriene says, showing up is the hardest part. So pat yourself on the back just for showing up!

      I feel the exact same, I wonder if I’ll ever be able to do downward dog with heels down and/or without bending knees or if I’ll ever get into the plunge in one motion. But only way to find out is to keep going. You’re not alone ❤ reading your comment reminded me of that!

    Amazing. My whole body and energy systems feel completely cleansed as I fully released all that no longer serves me. I have awaken a newfound clarity in my headspace and an openness in my heart, mind, soul and body. I feel almost boundless as I’ve completely transitioned my energy into a more flowing state that is accepting of where I am today and is allowing me to take each present moment for what it is, relishing in all the small joys of life. Yoga is such a gift to the soul, one that I am grateful to myself for showing up to each day and to Adriene, for providing us with these top quality practices for free. You’ve truly changed my life🙏💓. Beautiful purple sky as the day turned to dusk during my practice this evening, which I felt nicely reflected my calm inner state💜🌄. Namaste all xx

    the last line about continuing to do things even if we feel like an idiot, “because it stirs something inside of me” is exactly how i feel about yoga in general. when i found it almost a decade (!) ago, i NEVER imagined just how much it was going to stick with me.

      I don't think it is ever live; I think only a recording is released at a specific time. So you didn't miss anything! We are all practicing at different times throughout the day. (If that is not correct, someone let me know!) So there's always someone practicing when you are.

    Perfect follow up to the past couple sessions. I used the wall a little bit, but the balance is better than it was before. I've been a regular for over a year now. Great to see the comments. There were about 5.3 K viewers with me this morning!

    Thank you so much for this lovely practice, it was exactly what I needed today. I had such a stressful day yesterday, running around ragged, taking care of stuff, and was too exhausted to take care of myself. Now I feel so much better, grounded, and energized.
    Sending gentle hugs to everybody who is going through a rough patch in life, you got this. Keep breathing, take good care of yourself, and take life one day at a time, one breath at a time. 💖

    Wow - I had a 'good balance' experience today both physically and emotionally! I released a little anxiety which no longer served with a small tear and a sob and then regathered myself and moved on! VERY powerful. Thanks Adriene xx
