So thumbs up, plus this was a good, well thought out, and well-presented video. Thanks, I'll be subscribing.
A lot of people commenting don't realize that there is quite a difference in cost between the v6 and v8 muscle cars. Most people can't afford the higher payments and higher insurance for a v8. So the majority of people are cruising around in the v6 Chargers, Challengers, Mustangs, etc. Nothing wrong with that. Might as well make it as fun as you can with the money you have. Just an fyi, the resonator is before the muffler under the middle of the car. The mufflers are at the rear of the car. Keeping the factory resonator and replacing just the mufflers at the rear will give you a much less raspy sound. Just fyi.....dont believe me? Look it up...
you have a very awesome exhaust. ....i have a question. ...lets say u have a 3.6 v6 and u do everything you did to your 3.5 v6......will the 3.6 v6 sound a bit louder or will it still sound the same as a 3.5 v6?.....
My v6 challenger already has the dual exhaust (2010...it was added by the previous owner) along with a flowmaster muffler and flowmaster resonators.. its quiet. So i guess ill remove the resonators! And add tips. Id like to angle the tips out to the side just south of the rear wheels but then the rear facia would look derpy with the notches.
Great video! Helped me out a lot. I have a hole in my exhaust so I was thinking of just switching out everything to get a custom exhaust. I can tell you live in Ontario, so I was wondering how much this cost you? (Parts, installation etc)
It was roughly $800 at Noyzboyz and I’ve never even thought about regretting it one time. Makes a base model car fun af for years everytime you drive it!
Parts were like $300 install $400 taxes the rest I think? If you can buy the super 10 on your own it’s cheaper though they like double the cost of parts when charging you
@@MarspeedCars thanks for the reply! Yeah I was thinking of buying the parts myself than getting it installed some place! Not too bad on price. I thought it would be higher lol
Hey so I have a charger just like this 2010 3.5l v6 same color, but I’m finally getting the setup and I do t know what you did to your charger, can you list everything to me what you did to your car. This was the sound I was looking for , for a long ass time and I want mine exactly spot on like this one. I would really appreciate it so I know what I need for this whole setup.
looks like a cat back super 10.... sounds good, but bit confusing in to what you call mufflers and where you place the resonator. so in my v6 durango, its resonator first then muffler. your video is muffler then res???
hey, nice sound, iam bit confused because your mufflers are at the back of the car are they not ? and resonators are mid based... so what it looks like you deleted was mufflers in the rear and swapped your resonators for a mid muffler super 10 ?? correct ?
I read on forums how v6 owners pay thousands of $$$$$ for cat backs or complete exhausts only to be disappointed and complain about the drone or it still sounds.... well like a 6 .. it is a 6 all the $$$$$ in the world won't change it .... save your $$$$ and just be happy with the car the way it is...
bones007able eh maybe they’re doing it wrong. $400-600 US will get you the exhaust I have and I’ve been happy with it for 3 years, made it fun to drive the 6 banger while I have it

Just an fyi, the resonator is before the muffler under the middle of the car. The mufflers are at the rear of the car. Keeping the factory resonator and replacing just the mufflers at the rear will give you a much less raspy sound. Just fyi.....dont believe me? Look it up...

Opps......Sunsetorangez is actually my old account..cell was logged into it. Same guy, just continuing our conversation...
Kyler Adams This makes zero se se.
what muffler brand are you using? it sounds cool

Me: oh he’s talking off
Also me: man, this is taking a while...
Sounds awesome man. Do you still have this car?
Very nice set-up!
you have a very awesome exhaust. ....i have a question. ...lets say u have a 3.6 v6 and u do everything you did to your 3.5 v6......will the 3.6 v6 sound a bit louder or will it still sound the same as a 3.5 v6?.....
S Smith yeah it should get louder without the resonators! Sounds good
Dr Rockso if your state emissions allows it, remove the muffler and leave the resonator. Try it, you may like it! Sounds good on V8's.
You should add a shaker hood to your charger
Nice video bro. What muffler are you using?
Job well done, sounds like a howling wolf 🐺.
I agree V8 are the way to go but I have to go with a V6 cause it’s my first car lol but next one will be a V8
My 2010 charger the SXT trim had dual exhaust when I got it
My car sounds just about right! Just need to fix the rpms. All I have is a flowmaster50s after that is straight piped.
How exactly do you fix "rpms"???
Tom Parry I meant to say adjust the rpms more to revv at a higher rpm
Froskinny What is ur idle speed set at in ur tuner?
Kernal29 I don’t have one that’s why I’m saying I need one. Lol
Froskinny Whats ur mustang idle at right now? And is it the 4 6 or 8 cylinder?
Dont do exhaust clips in under ground parking garages. Your car sounds ok ....but it still has that v6 sound that just wont change.
I have a 2009 Camry SE V6 and it smokes basically any other sedan that’s naturally aspirated except for V8s.
$400-600 US will get you the exhaust I have and I’ve been happy with it for 3 years, made it fun to drive the 6 banger while I have it
In most cases a resonator will reduce or kill rasp. I will always have one.
Steps to make a v6 charger to sound good. 1- take out the v6. 2- put the 6.4 hemi in. (Cammed). 3. Straight pipe. Done
People need to stop hating V-6's. Dude, I'm a 16 year old that has a sweet Dodge Charger without the $330.00 a month insurance. Dad has a Hellcat anyway, that still has a cheaper insurance.
Marspeed what kinda custom exaust you buy? And do you have manifolds or headers?
Awesome job young man...thank you
Fang! Now I want a v6 charger!
It does sound pretty good
