Yeah she made the right call to try it hot out of the oven. If the bread is going to last for a few days then yeah by all means let it cool. If the intention is to eat the loaf at one or two sittings then you have to have a hot slice right out of the oven before all the volatiles evaporate off. It's a bit like popcorn, it's amazing for the first 20-30 minutes but the next day it's just mediocre and warming it up does nothing to bring back that fresh out of the oven flavor.
It was great when I live across the street from a bakery, fresh hot bread when ever I wanted. If I got there early enough. They always sold out quickly

@@Verlopil well actually, the carbonation does add a bit more gas to the bread, it will be slightly fluffier. Been a small town artisanal baker for 12 years, and let me say you nailed this recipe, any pastry made with soda is definitely a shortcut, but it adds the carbonization to activate the yeast a little faster (not to replace yeast as many people suggest) But its still a cheap and easy bread, good for breakfast.
Root Beer Float cake is delicious. Root beer with a box cake mix ( Betty Crocker Butter Cake is preferred)and mix root beer with Dream Whip powder topping mix for the frosting. I use both packs of Dream Whip when I make it.

You said that you didn't give a good description of the 6-strand braid, but it made sense with the visual. I would say it was a good description as long as someone isn't just listening.
As much as I relate to "Warm Bread", I have found that waiting that excruciating 1 hour tends to lead to a bread that is better inner crumb - it's worse for sourdough which is best 12-24 hour later though!
My breads and fruit pies are always served as soon as I can get them served after cooking. No cold baked goods are served. I reheat pies and bread before eating them . My cakes and cookies are fresh hot and made in amounts that can be eaten in one day. No cold left over deserts.

Not being argumentative, but if you notice, Emmy put the quote marks around the title which is followed by 🤔"Let's test that". I don't feel she was trying to do a click bait appeal, rather just doing what we all appreciate her for, testing out recipes that she hasn't tried and what viewers are looking for. 😊
My wife and love our Helix. We have the Dusk Luxe as well and it is amazing. Glad they are sponsoring you.
Yay!!!💤
I absolutely love your voice! 🥰 You have such a wonderful energy 💕
Root Beer Float cake is delicious. Root beer with a box cake mix ( Betty Crocker Butter Cake is preferred)and mix root beer with Dream Whip powder topping mix for the frosting. I use both packs of Dream Whip when I make it.
I'm so glad you showed how to braid it!!!!!
Omg this is the first time I've understood the 6 strand bread braid. You rock Emmy💗
Who needs baking soda? you are quite literally baking soda 😂
I saw the original video and they didn’t describe the taste. So I’m thankful you made this Emmy.
That’s my favourite explanation of a six-strand braid. Exciting!
Thank you we love your great content i also recommend boiling your ribs in cocola to make them fall of the bone and it gives the meat a sweet taste too ❤
It looks great... Watching you eat it warm like that reminded me of eat homemade bread at my Grandparents farm house , absolutely salivating !
Hypothesis: The more baking-based or even pastry-involved the topic, the more ASMR and soothing Emmy's voice will sound. Anyone?
I'm impressed by the 6 strand braiding !!
You can use 7-UP for biscuits and they are AWESOME! I kid you not. This made some of the best biscuits I've ever tasted and made.
i love that little anchor measuring glass, so handy!
I used to mix alcohol into cake mixes 😆 worked surprisingly well
You said that you didn't give a good description of the 6-strand braid, but it made sense with the visual. I would say it was a good description as long as someone isn't just listening.
Years wathcing her and still find her very wholesome! I'd love to meet you one day, Emmy!
This was so entertaining!! I love your voice ❤️
You are just a freaking gem Emmy.
Awesome ,thank you for that explanation, I'm making some next week
As much as I relate to "Warm Bread", I have found that waiting that excruciating 1 hour tends to lead to a bread that is better inner crumb - it's worse for sourdough which is best 12-24 hour later though!
My breads and fruit pies are always served as soon as I can get them served after cooking. No cold baked goods are served. I reheat pies and bread before eating them . My cakes and cookies are fresh hot and made in amounts that can be eaten in one day. No cold left over deserts.
