Skydiving is amazing. I've once skydived in Dubai from 4km. Let me share my experience: The instructor straps you *REALLY* tight, and then you're interviewed. You go into a van with other people and the instructors. As you reach the plane, which is really small, you wave at the camera, and climb up the plane. While the plane reaches 4km in altitude, you talk with other people. As the plane is close to the 4km altitude, the instructor gives you goggles to wear. Once the plane reaches 4km, the door is opened, and people jump with the instructors two by two. When it's your turn to jump, you look at the gorgeous city, and you are on the verge of shitting your pants, but it's too late. The instructor jumps with you and you fly. Adrenaline kicks in, and you don't feel any pain at all (the way they strapped it was so tight it hurt like hell). You fly for a few second, before the instructor asks you to do the "banana" pose. After that, the cameraman records you (yes, he/she is literally flying while recording you with a small, professional camera). You then reach the point, where the instructor releases the parachute. Once again, you almost shit your pants when the parachute is released, because you have a feeling that you're "going up". You slow down, and enjoy the beautiful city, including Palma Jumeirah. However, the straps hurt like actual hell in your thighs, to the point where your thighs become numb (atleast in my case). Once you reach like 100m above the landing area, the instructor asks you to raise your feet. Once you land, you are amazed by the experience. The cameraman records you once again. The footage of you is later sent to you via mail I'd say it was a wonderful experience and worth it. You all should try it out!
@@ItsPlutonium That's almost impossible to die. In the last 10 years of skydiving in Dubai, only three have died. But I have no idea what happens if you die. You can probably sue them depending on the situation
This would make a pretty cool horror story. You dive into the cloud, and instead of exiting through the other side, you become trapped inside it. Never to be seen again
11 years later, and TH-cam is randomly recommending this to me even though I don’t watch this kind of stuff. Also, this reminds me of skydiving In Tears Of The Kingdom! I wanna go skydiving someday!
As a kid it was one of my biggest dreams to go sky diving, I fell chronically ill at 12 years old and now at 22 I know it wouldn’t be possible for me to try. This is super cool and very much appreciated ❤️
I remember sky diving in Australia back in late 2017, One of the best experiences I’ve ever done!!! Definitely worth doing if you ever get the opportunity to do so, trust me I’m shit scared of heights but I would gladly do this again!
Its amazing that as humans we always find a way to push the limit. I just spent the last hour watching horrifying cave diving videos, now I am watching someone do some epic sky diving. Humans are truly amazing.
Funny how my recommendations are tuned the exact same way. I watched all those hellhole catabomb shit and here I'm taking a pinch of atmosphere. Ridiculous how we don't choose the dish, but love the serving
@@anordinaryfellow2832 I commented what it feels like in another post I think I saw you in. In regards to how you start, you really just look up skydiving location in your area and check the price. I payed around $200, but the next time I go, $75 is taken off as to skydive you need to have training so you're paying for that as well. Since I have the certificate, I don't need to pay to get it. The first dive is considered as training, and so by the end you get a certificate that says you completed training. There are a few other things I need to do before I can jump solo, but I need to save for that, and I would assume I need to buy my own chute. It's honestly a great experience I think everyone should try once.
Tomorrow im skydiving for the second time in my life The thrill is unimaginable Seeing everything from that high up and coming to terms with your own mortality gives you a sense of control over the world Staring death in the face makes you feel sort of immortal No matter how terrified you are if you have the means I recommend you close your eyes and do it you will not regret it
The sky and this beautiful music... these two things made me think about life. Heaven is a high ideal, which, unfortunately, not everyone can achieve. If possible, you can risk your life and jump off the plane and fly through the clouds. (but it's better not to forget about the parachute). And if there is no parachute, and you fall without everything, or stay on the plane during a disaster - in these 2 cases, death is inevitable. All that remains to do while you are in the air is to remember and sort through all the achievements of life in your head, and also say to yourself: "goodbye, everyone!". You'll be lucky if you fall into the water...
I've always had this fantasy to be falling carefree, feeling weightless and savoring the moment that not everyone gets to experience. (Kingdom Hearts really contributed to this fantasy.)
Skydiving is one of the experiences I wanted to do when I was a kid and I was afraid to do it but at the same time I felt like it was the right thing to do and I never got the chance yet, I might do it in the future don't forget to follow your dreams❤ just know that all you got your dreams are different and the best that you'll do,Goodbye❤❤❤

It looks scary when you are just about to jump but it actually looks quite exciting when you are in the air. I'd love to try that when I'm older! Its so cool
It’s extremely exhilarating, a little scary and a whole lot of unrealistic looking at the height. One you’re out it’s absolute freedom and don’t worry the parachute wants to be open those huge tandem canopies always open and if for some reason something is wrong you have a spade canopy.
Ironically, the scariest and most dangerous part isn't jumping off from the plane or falling from high, but actually touching the ground (once you safely reach it) because you can break your legs if you do it incorrectly in the slightest.
Breaking your legs or any bone isn't scary the body goes into shock you won't really feel the pain for a while I have broken both my legs and arms at least twice and each time I was more horrified about the fact that my bones were bending in the wrong way I didn't even feel the pain.
I don’t know why but I found this very moving. Something about falling through a grey void and suddenly a beautiful green landscape appears in front of you. Incredible.
I went for my first time last year with my brother and cousin from 14,000 ft. It truly is indescribable. It feels like you’re in another world and there’s so much of a sensory overload because your brain is trying to catch up to such a wild new experience it almost becomes a blur. Which is why it’s definitely something that if you do it once, you gotta do it again. And at that point you’re already hooked to keep doing it again and again.
As for people who are feeling nervous about it. I didn’t start feeling any nervousness until 30 seconds from the jump. You feel the air grow colder and you start thinking, “holy crap I’m seriously about to jump out of a plane”. But you don’t have time to think before you’re at the door. Your last thought is “oh my god this is crazy” and then away you go. After your out, prepare to have the biggest smile on your face because it’s just nothing but awesome after that. It’s just something you gotta experience for yourself, go for it!
interesting take. i went a few years ago, but didnt have a sensory overload or anything. falling that fast just reminded me of that feeling you get when you stick your hand outside a car window while driving, just all over your body. it was a relaxing experience more than anything.

For me, the scariest part of sky diving isnt the fall, or jumping out of the plane... its whether the parachute is going to deploy or not.
Yes. I wish we could just know for sure. But parachutes usually deploy and its pretty rare to have a malfunction
