The ultimate skydive in my 22 years of jumping! Exit from 13,500 feet in PERFECT weather conditions (ie endless blue skies, puffy clouds and NO wind) with my beautiful husband slaDE~ and our Arizona friend, Ginger. I deployed at 8,000 feet so I could soak in all the exotic beauty and sublime heavenly experience. A once in a lifetime never-to-forget skydive!!! BTW, my canopy is red, black and gray, and I am the last person to land in this video. WOOHOO!
The Great Blue Hole is a stunning circular jewel surrounded by a ring of shallow luminous coral reef in the Lighthouse Reef Atoll. Measuring 1,000 feet across and more than 400 feet deep, this ocean-floor limestone sinkhole is believed to be the world's largest blue hole, made famous by Jacques Cousteau. Atolls are characterized by a large, fairly shallow lagoon surrounded by coral reefs. Only four known true atolls exist in the Western Hemisphere, and of these, three reside in Belize: Turneffe, Lighthouse and Glovers. - กีฬา

This really is one of the most satisfying skydiving videos I've ever seen. Your movements are precise and controlled. That landing was incredibly smooth. Virtually every part is exactly the way it should be with perfect weather!

I came back after five years solely to watch the video again, and I'm still experiencing goosebumps from it. During that time, I used to watch it frequently as a source of motivation to begin my paragliding classes, and now I've finally started them. 😊

Seren S It depends on how long you want to spend time in air. Didn't you see in this one that skydiver applied full breaks by pulling both sideways to come down instantly.?
Freefall time from an altitude of 12,500 is about 60 seconds. If you fall on your belly. There are different ways of falling (believe it or not) that can either increase your speed (headdown flight) or decrease your speed (think wingsuit). We pulled high. Myself (Sky) at around 8,000 feet and Slade at around 6,000 feet. The canopy time in the air depends on how small/big your canopy is and how you fly it. Flying the parachute say in full brakes vs half brakes vs full flight are just some of the factors that determine descent rate.

no it wasn't formed like that it was formed by a giant undersea cave that collapsed centuries ago and that is the remains of it trust me I know I'm a Belizean and I am so proud to be a citizen of a small yet beautiful country, we like to call our country "the jewel" because it is so beautiful. from Mayan ruins to a beautiful barrier reef that is typically the largest one in the world since the 1st largest one from somewhere else is dead. we were the 2nd largest one but now our one is the largest. at least you learnt a little something today"Skelly belly" that's to show you that I do know the history of my country 😊

Blue Hole, Belize, is actually one of the most dangerous bodies of water because of its complicated underwater structures and lack of light making it very difficult to function, not to mention that bodies of water around it are hotspots for bull sharks and hammerheads. However if you do want to go diving inside of Blue Hole, you would have to go with a group of people and have a lot of experience in diving.

LGx jEts Sharks rarely attack humans, and if you're just landing on top of it there's no danger of "lack of light" or whatever.
For the record, about 15 minutes after we landed from our jump, we went scuba diving in the Blue Hole. To a depth of about 115 feet. Right at the edge of the dive tables. It was an epic day :).
