When I was younger I used to work on a core drilling rig, doing samples for mineral exploration. Occasionally while drilling properties that had been mined in the past we would hit old-timer shafts, mine shafts from way back that were never mapped properly, you never knew when you would hit one. It would usually be the end of that particular drill hole, once we were able to get the hole started again, but was really hard to do with all that drill steel wobbling around at the bottom of the shaft. This could be an old shaft, or a natural cave hard to tell. Judging from the roundness of the rocks I saw at the bottom, I initially would lean towards natural, but they could have easily been rocks tossed down from the surface years ago. Without seeing the area away from directly under the bore hole, I can't say for sure. The object at the bottom, resembles something we used to call an overshot and was used to recover the core tube from the core barrel. If this area is in an area that was mined in the past, that's my best guess on what happened. Ordinarily after samples are taken and the drill hole is shut down, a plug would be rammed down the hole and it would be cemented in to prevent surface water from contaminating the ground water in the area.
This spinning camera technique could be used super effectively in a horror film. Characters do something similar to find out what's down there-- just before the spinning camera is pulled back up into the pipe, we see something terrifying enter frame for a second-- but since the frame is spinning, we can't grasp what we saw and then it's gone. Maybe only the sounds it makes chase us up the pipe...
„Grave Encounters“ did something akin to this, with the ghost camera that had a film that needed to be developed later on. If the crew had ever made it out of the haunted asylum they would never have gone ghost hunting again. ^^

Looks like an old gas vent pipe that has been cut off, there was one at my old country bus stop that looked like an arrow pointing up to keep the rain out. If there was a leak in the natural gas line, it could bent so it wouldn't build up and cause a rather inconvenient explosion.
This reminds me of a creepy story I Heard once So this guy is staying at a hotel which is near the middle of nowhere and he gets into the lobby and he gets a room and the lady at the front desk tells him, "do not go anywhere near room 204" So this guy is all like okay and he doesn't really think much about it except for whenever he's going up to his room and he puts all his stuff up and then he looks around in the hallway and he sees room 204 and so he ignores it and just goes to bed. The next morning he wakes up and he decides to sleep around so he goes over to room 204 and he tries to open the door with the handle, but it's locked. So he looks through the keyhole and the whole room is empty except for in the corner there's an old woman with her back facing the door. He's really creeped out so he leaves and goes out around the town for the rest of the day. When he comes back it's night time and he decides to go and look at the room one more time, because he is leaving to go back home tomorrow. He looks in the keyhole again and there's no old lady and there's no room. It's all red. He decides to forget about it and go back to his room and go to sleep, so in the morning he goes down to the front desk and ask the lady what's the deal with room 204? She said that long ago a man killed his wife in that room and she haunts the room and has red eyes.
Imagine going to school in a country that was not involved with WW2 during the time of WW2... Why did I even put this here? Is it because I want kids to understand how life was for me when I was that young??? I don't even know anymore....
We crave for simple things that we can imagine to be able to do by ourselves easily. Too many overly perfect crazy skills things on the Internet. Just annoying af to me.
But also I hated it for the simple fact of being like this would be horrifying if it got stuck and the camera jiggling around gives me motion sickness which isn’t something they can help but like it was dizzying
This could be completely wrong but my guess is it is an air pipe. Many caves that don’t have an opening that allows airflow can suffocate explorers. This might be so it can be visited safely.
@@xxWildflowxx You are so quick to say "wrong" but that's perfectly logical. Most mines in these areas are wet and or totally flooded without pumps. Look at the pipe and what looks like some kind of wire or cable at the bottom. Could have been carried in thru a mine.
The piping and tubing at the bottom, and the width of the bore hole itself, indicates that this used to be a well. I happen to have a well just like this, though ours still has a steady water source. This one looks like there's been a breach or shift, and the opening up of a cave carved by the ground water source, which has lowered the water level itself. The real mystery is, with a well that modern, why is there no house nearby? Or foundation? Also, I see there's another, smaller pipe nearby, which looks appropriate for a backwash.
I don't see how this could be a well, granted I don't know much about them. The reason I can't see it is I don't understand how that piping we see at the bottom would have been installed without actual access to the bottom (and the "well" entrance is not large enough for a human, or even that other pipe to go down) They would need some way to get down there, which makes me think mine shaft makes more sense.
Looks like a shady water company name it "NESTLY" COF COF , DRILL wells at random places and steal fresh water , that is the reason why the reservoir is empty, and the last part of the pipe fell to the reservoir ground.
Please do amother video but with the camera pointing to the side. Let it touch bottom the reel it up about 5 to 6 feet and let it just hang there for ten minutes so the spinning slows down a bit. Sure seemed like something was going on down there. Water can make plenty of strange noises and the echo was fairly pronounced down there but the leaves moved a smidge and id love to see around down there. It's maddening not knowing. Thanks for your sense of adventure and the piss to actually DO IT. You both ROCK in my opinion
I never thought I’d see the day where I’d say these words. “A 360 degree camera would have been really useful here”. I’m disappointed in myself as much as you are me… I’ll see myself out
Maybe a second rope around the other end of the Gopro? So if you pull it, it would lift the lens part up? I don't know how to explain it better, or if it would work.
Imagine being a frog just hopping around like any other wednesday morning and suddenly you hop into a strange looking hole and now you gotta start your new life in the center of the earth
remember being a kid and thinking "dang if only i had a camera small enough i could see whats in this mysterious hole" well here we are... but we need more!
I believe this is the result of a process called "core sampling" making that hole a "core hole" and that metal at the bottom may be the drill bit which they didn't expect to hit a cave with and once it dropped down it couldn't fit perfectly into the hole it made and so had to be cut and dropped. It could also be something some else dropped down the hole. Geologists collect all the rock removed and study it.
The part at the bottom looked like a submersible water pump with the electrical line still attached. Likely the well went dry a long time ago and someone pulled the well cap and water pipe out to find the pump had detached and didnt bother to put the pipe in well head back into the casing. Intresting video though.
These guys found a random pipe in the woods and were like, “woah that’s a pretty cool pipe, I wonder what’s at the bottom” and one of them was just like, “well I just happen to have a GoPro, a flashlight, duct tape and about several hundred feet of nylon rope in my bag... wanna see?”

Looks like an old gas vent pipe that has been cut off, there was one at my old country bus stop that looked like an arrow pointing up to keep the rain out. If there was a leak in the natural gas line, it could bent so it wouldn't build up and cause a rather inconvenient explosion.

This reminds me of a creepy story I Heard once
So this guy is staying at a hotel which is near the middle of nowhere and he gets into the lobby and he gets a room and the lady at the front desk tells him, "do not go anywhere near room 204"
So this guy is all like okay and he doesn't really think much about it except for whenever he's going up to his room and he puts all his stuff up and then he looks around in the hallway and he sees room 204 and so he ignores it and just goes to bed.

We crave for simple things that we can imagine to be able to do by ourselves easily.
Too many overly perfect crazy skills things on the Internet. Just annoying af to me.
reallife minecraft
People are naturally curious so even if we don't expect to find anything we still want to see what happens.
Wrong. Its a pipe for pulling up groundwater. Seeing as theres barely any water left in that area shows why that pipe has been abandoned

@@LegDayLas They use a drill to dig into the reservoir.
That is what I was thinking. Especially when they only went 125 ft down, which is deep enough for a water table to exist
Looks like a shady water company name it "NESTLY" COF COF , DRILL wells at random places and steal fresh water , that is the reason why the reservoir is empty, and the last part of the pipe fell to the reservoir ground.

@@lethaltags5400 Ropes are light and doesn't take much space when packed, can't hurt to have a little more than you need.
I bet he bought it from morshu
I believe this is the result of a process called "core sampling" making that hole a "core hole" and that metal at the bottom may be the drill bit which they didn't expect to hit a cave with and once it dropped down it couldn't fit perfectly into the hole it made and so had to be cut and dropped. It could also be something some else dropped down the hole. Geologists collect all the rock removed and study it.
Nah dude, it's ventilation for a mine.
It's literally a pipe to drain the heavy Rain water better
The part at the bottom looked like a submersible water pump with the electrical line still attached. Likely the well went dry a long time ago and someone pulled the well cap and water pipe out to find the pump had detached and didnt bother to put the pipe in well head back into the casing. Intresting video though.
