My first daily practice is to pull 3 cards in a row to represent the situation, the conflict and the advice. My second daily spread is to pull 5 cards in a “+” shape. Starting at the top and going clockwise is a card that represents fire (inspiration, ambition, expansion, etc.), earth (finances, material possesion, work, self worth, etc.), air (ideas, attitude, social circles, communication, etc.), water (emotions, mood, intuition, imagination, etc.) In the center is the card that represents spirit (overall energy, common thread, heart of reading, etc.) I pull clarifications as needed for both spreads and I pull advice for each energy in my second daily spread.
I have played around with different weekly spreads. Like you, I sit down on Sunday and pull my weekly draw. My most recent weekly spread is a 3- card spread - one card for Mind, one for Body and one for Spirit. Then I pull an Oracle card clarifier. I write my messages down on a dedicated page in my day planner and I reflect on them each day to reground myself.
I like to do a daily 3 card pull to represent the overall energy of the day, obstacles or challenges of the day, and advice or guidance for navigating the day. It's been a helpful way to reflect on how the cards show up to represent day-to-day matters.
I'd love to see you do a vlog type video where you pull a card for the day and talk us through its relevance, I think it would be really insightful to see you pulling cards from different decks and discuss your interpretation. Since I work mainly with the traditional tarot deck I'm fascinated by what we can get out of other styles / orical decks. Maybe doing example pulls rather than actual draws for you day so it's not so personal?
I like to do a quick tarot spread to celebrate astrological phenomena. So when the sun changes sign, the new moon and full moon and when planets change signs. The inner planets change sign about monthly, the outer about once a year. I do spreads for guidance and support for retrogrades. I just make up the spreads myself. Learning the tarot was the funnest part for me, but I did that years ago, these days I sometimes ignore the cards because I don’t find them relevant or relatable. But I keep it simple and just contemplate the messages.
I really like that idea. Astrologically, I sometimes do spreads for the moon phases and occasionally for relevant planetary changes that are meaningful for my own birth chart.
Great advice. I pull 3 cards in the morning plus one oracle card. To see what I can expect from the day and how to navigate thru the day for my highest good💜
Thank you for this video. I am grateful I stumbled onto it. I like the different versions of the 3 card Spread. I normally do a 1 card for each day in the morning. But I feel that I could learn more either doing the Morning, Mid-day, and Evening spread or the first 3 card Spread pulling a card for 2 days at a time and reflecting on them that way. I am going to try each new way for a week starting this Sunday and see which ones is more suited for me. Thank you again. Blessed be and Well met.
Find the death card. The card behind is what's influencing you; the card in front of us what you need to work on. Same can be done w lovers if one is in a relationship.
My daily practice currently (I am very new to tarot) In the morning I draw a card for the day and keep that with me throughout the day reading it and meditating on it . At 7pm most nights I practice readings of various spreads.
I pull a faerie oracle (brian froud deck) and a rune each Sunday to represent the energies of the upcoming week and journal it. Leaving space for a weekly recap to see if the enegy played out as predicted. Then each day i pull a card in the morning to see how that day will happen. I also journal this and leave recap space to reflect on the day. If i do deeper readings throughout the week i note those in my journal
I'm a completely new beginner to tarot, and I'm loving the three methods you've mentioned. Due to lack of time, I plan to use the first approach that you mentioned. Thank you so much for the ideas 💓.
Ooh I like that weekly spread type idea. Daily draws never work for me because I hate not having time to sit with the card, it feels so fast and busy to pull every day. Very stressful for me. I leave my spreads out for weeks while they percolate!
I always look forward to your style and what jewelry you're wearing in the new videos! And those nails this time, oh là là! 😍And I also pay attention to the content, of course 😂, and I want to thank you for these inspirations! I never got warm with those daily draws, so option 1 and 3 are supercool to consider! I think I might even try and start a weekly draw, to do as you said and stay with one card over a few days! Also love the idea to counter those sluggish days with some tarot structure! I guess one could do this excercise with conscious draws as well, that would help in finding out what I want from my day... Thanks again, elf queen, and have a wonderful week! 🌻
Haha, I love people who appreciate the aesthetics AND the content. ;) Yeah, I like the idea of spending more time with one card and really feeling its energy. Also, thank you for calling me an elf queen, ha! ❤
You re magical I am always blessed with a video in my news feed that I need to hear. Thank you for explaining these different daily pulls. I just received a new deck today. I am writing my intentions and I really want to deep dive into this deck this weekend. Let me go be nosy on your channel and see what else you have up. Love her smoothing energy.
I like the second one I think I will give it a try... Maybe I should also make a video about my daily tarot practices because it is very helpful for all the readers...
Ive been patiently waiting for the new year with the intention of tarot journaling to connect more fully with my decks. As always, the Universe led me to you and your posts. Thank you so much. Bright blessings for 2021. ❤🙏
Hi! I’m very new to tarot. The three spreads I’m concentrating on one card a day, a three card spread in the middle of the week. And a weekly seven day spread on the Sunday, before I start moving on to more complicated spreads. :)
This is a fantastic video, thank you. Currently I'm using my daily tarot practise to deep dive into and uncover aspects of my psyche. The card/s I pull each day aren't just for the energetic guidance though that is a strong component, but is more to help me uncover what I do and don't enjoy in the imagery, archetypes, and themes. Especially across multiple decks. Right now I'm beginning a Book of mirrors to help me unravel the beliefs that I'm holding. And how Im expressing my being everyday with those beliefs at the core. I was initially triggered by the Heirophant, and the more traditional themes around it like institutionilisation, indoctrination, even patriarchy, and rules etc which all challenged me. Keeping a book of mirrors helps me to flesh these perspectives out, move beyond them, and to find the more expansive meanings and applications of the overall essence of this energy. It also helps me to see the shifts that I am making over the days, weeks, months, years and how my paradigms shift both consciously and organically throughout. Always looking for new and creative ways to connect to and work with tarot and energy 💖
Nawww you are adorable! What a great topic to cover and you made some really interesting point. A daily tarot practice is absolutely vital for developing a strong cognitive connection with the arcana. My own daily practice is dynamic, which is to say that don’t stick to one thing for any length of time. I see how I feel on the day and go from there. One thing that never changes, is, that I hold and shuffle a deck every single day without fail.
Good to see you here, Avalon! ❤ There's definitely wilder phases for me, too, where I just do something - anything! - with the cards on a given day. Thanks for the love & sharing a bit of your routine. :)
Thank you for this video! I needed this. I have a resume a mile long, but, as you know, I am admittedly a n00bie with tarot. I value and more-so resonate Big-Time with what you have to pass along for advice. I still need to watch the rest of your "Tarot Playlist". After watching this video, I have free time tonight and "was" going to be lazy and watch scary & psychologically intense movies on Netflix... But nooooo, Anya said I need to be more constructive, lol, so I will check out the playlist instead. I also "need" to watch your video on how to constructive, i guess by pre-planning my time for the day. Thank you for mentioning it! You have SOOOO many different looks. I absolutely love 99.99% of them. In this video, wow - super cool - super witchy with the "energy" of a powerful white witch with lifetimes of ageless knowledge. I bow to my Queen Anya...
I do something similar to the 3 card time practice you talked about but what I do is I draw 4 cards morning afternoon evening night but I draw them before I got to bed and compare any emotions I had corresponding to the time frame and see how accurate it was.i record it in my journal and also include the moon phases and you can look back and see the patterns you go through week to week.its great meditation.🖤
I like to a 5-card draw on Sunday. 1-where am I now? 2- my challenge. 3&4- what are my strengths for this challenge? 5- what is the possible outcome? Then the rest of the week I draw 1 card in the morning to see how to work with the energy that day in regards to the Sunday spread.
Personally, my practice revolves around reading for others, but I'm integrating daily card pulls into my mornings not only for practice, but for my own personal growth.
I don’t like to plan my practical affairs with cards. I use them as an intuitive development tool, I prefer to think about them and contemplate the messages and symbols, but I also read books just the same. The tarot is a good intuitive measuring tool because it has a set amount of cards, so you can gage the energies of your questions easily. Great video 💥💫
i have seven decks and mess with all of them daily. four tarot. three oracle. i feel like they all always have something valuable to say. i read from their guidebooks, which are very different than the traditional meanings, and also refer to the RWS meanings. it's magickal.
I love this video ! Thankyou sm, I will definitely be watching the one about feeling like I don’t have enough time 😩 P.s as I’m watching this I realize our nails are the exact same except my ring finger is all black 😅🖤
Hi, Esma apprentice Tarot here (on the Wicca path)... by the way did you notice at the beginning of your video the pentagram move back and ford two times maybe even more?
My method is to draw 3 cards for big positive events will happen to me this week, then draw 2 cards for my advice to make it through this week I will forget it tho cuz my mind is 2mb limits but at the end of the week I see what resonates and what’s not And yes sometimes I forget the advice because I’m too busy but when I read it again it makes sense why is it my advice
Don’t ask me why just 2 cards for advice it just happened with me and i kept doing it, maybe cuz of my ego I don’t like listening to advices and then complain why my life the way it is :)
I have 5 different decks. I intend on starting a daily pull; would you suggest sticking to one deck to really hone in on the energy of said deck? And then maybe use my intuition when I feel drawn to using a different deck?
That sounds like a good plan! In time, you'll see what energy you want on a given day for your daily pull, so feel free to experiment consciously like that.
Love the idea with the elements! Thanks for sharing.

Mind-Body-Spirit spreads are amazing and always feel useful to me as well! I do them too rarely! I'll try that next week. :)
I like to do a daily 3 card pull to represent the overall energy of the day, obstacles or challenges of the day, and advice or guidance for navigating the day. It's been a helpful way to reflect on how the cards show up to represent day-to-day matters.

That's an interesting idea! Sounds like a fun weekly project, honestly. I'll write it down! ❤
6:46 Oh my Goddess your crystals 😍😍😍😍🙌🏼🙌🏼 Wow, that beautiful energy came all the way to NYC!
Thank you for being a sassy witch!
In the past I use them during daily journaling. It was very helpful.

I love that, it really strengthens your connection to the tool by giving each card a real-life context. 👏

Yeah, I totally understand that! The weekly draws are a way easier time investment. :)
I like the idea of leaving the spread out for the week and allowing it to percolate. Thanks!🥰

Sooo interesting when we figure out our own emotional pattern that way! Yes!
Such a great video 🦋
Where did you buy those elfie earrings? They are sooo beautiful💖
It's from an Etsy shop called Ausgefuchst Art :)
@@AnyaEsma thank you so much💖
I like to a 5-card draw on Sunday. 1-where am I now? 2- my challenge. 3&4- what are my strengths for this challenge? 5- what is the possible outcome? Then the rest of the week I draw 1 card in the morning to see how to work with the energy that day in regards to the Sunday spread.

you look strikingly like the princess from the end of the movie neverending story.
Huh! That's the first time I've heard that. But I think I know what you mean, I sort of have that look in this video.
I don’t like to plan my practical affairs with cards. Makes sense - I know for some, Tarot is really just a psychological tool, and that's mostly what I use it for as well. :)
What's the deck in the background to the left, with a purpleish back and some sort of star on it ?
It's not a full deck unfortunately - they are the Astrologian cards from Final Fantasy XIV: th-cam.com/video/hvDFLoGLxXc/w-d-xo.html
i have seven decks and mess with all of them daily. four tarot. three oracle. i feel like they all always have something valuable to say. i read from their guidebooks, which are very different than the traditional meanings, and also refer to the RWS meanings. it's magickal.
i also don't know much about tarot and have bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, so conventional methods of learning aren't useful to me.
Can you use these tips for Oracle cards?
Yeah, it works for any divination method really :)
Hi I was wondering what decks you used here in this video ???
Looking back at it, I think it was the Amano Tarot, the Wild Unknown Tarot, and Botanical Inspirations Oracle.
That was awesome 😊
Thank you! ❤
I am here subscribed- interested ✨️
Awesome ears 😺
I love this video ! Thankyou sm, I will definitely be watching the one about feeling like I don’t have enough time 😩 P.s as I’m watching this I realize our nails are the exact same except my ring finger is all black 😅🖤
I am so late but I was wondering what deck you’re using in this video? The one where you draw the hermit I believe.
Hey, that's the Wild Unknown Tarot :)
