dragonborn2709 the build of this is definitely different than the old one. I have both of them now, and disassembled my 2007 falcon so that I could build them one by one, and compare how they built. The new one is completely different, but I love both

For a $800 set, they could have thrown in more mini figures. Lando Calrissian, Luke, Obi-wan, Artoo and Nien Nunb should have been included.

23:12 Actually I think that's where Han was trying to fix the hyper drive early in Episode V after they escape Hoth, and the box with all the tools fell onto his head and he blames Chewie for it. I think that's what it is at least.

The exterior is amazing, but I feel the interior is lacking. A lot.

everyone says its the same old han from 75105 but its actually not. the face is different. 75105 featured old han with a smile and a more taciturn expression. this one features more wrinkles, more detail on the eyebrows, and changes the smile for a angry expression. so technically to my knowledge and experience with set 75105 this old han is exclusive or at least not included in 75105.
I finished this set yesterday and *OH BOY AM I IN DEEP TROUBLE!!!* I kind of underestimated the size of this beast. I bought a table only for this set and some scenery as well and when you look at it now you can only see the table's legs and the ship doesn't fully fit on it. If you'd excuse me now I will go buy a bigger table now.

This set looks incredible. I know the set is from the empire strikes back but I want garindan, or the imperial spy that told the empire on han in A New Hope. I would love him as a minifig.

I dont care what the designer says, they are not escape pod access. The only escape pod on the Falcon attached in between the two front "forks", and has been ejected in this configuration. I haven't seen it yet but I believe they showed this in the "Solo" movie.

I think we will see a larger set, perhaps in the creator expert range. If they did it would be much cheaper too because there wouldn’t be any licensing costs. Just got a falcon today, brilliant set. Can’t wait to build it.

That’s because Luke was on Dagobah and Obi-Wan was dead during the events of The Empire Strikes Back, aka when this set is meant to represent the Millennium Falcon

This thing is actually pretty easy so far. I just finished the frame in a few hours. Enjoyable and stress-free.

Watching this as my Force Awakens Millenium Falcon stares at me sadly knowing its going to get replaced. Lol. I don't agree with your comment about selling the original UCS Falcon though. This new one may be great but it won't hold its value. Lego is going to pump them out as long as they know they can get a profit out of them saturating the market. Itll be worth more in the future but not near as what the original is placed at.
I respectfully disagree. I've become pretty good friends with some of the employees at my local LEGO store and the dominant rumor swirling around is that this Millennium Falcon is gonna have an insanely short shelf life. That'll make this set a super rare find especially after it's retired.
ShotgunDolphin if its a year, thats not bad. I just cant see Lego dropping their cash cow of the year for exclusivity especially after their 5% drop. If Lego specifically labeled this set as a limited release of 10,000 units, then i think it'd be a different story. I'm curious though, did the contact mention anything about lego not making the sets available again till the actual release date? If so, it'd be great because that means Lego will have the units they need for launch and back order.
DC Brixxton interesting subject.. It would be crazy of Lego not to keep them coming as they must be making a healthy profit per box (even considering the high piece count and quality packaging). I think ultimately the original will still command more value in time as collectors will get 75192 now and not come after it when it's retired - wonder if there will be another falcon in 2027?! 👍🏻😀

I have recently completed this set, It is a very detailed set and I am very happy with it, except for one thing. The 2 Han Solo minifigs had a different skin tone for that opening in the shirt, I am very disappointed that LEGO could not fix this for a basically $1000 set.
Have you ever noticed the plaque on the new ucs falcon gives a different measurement of length than the plaque on the 2007 version?
It's crazy my favorite set I own is 75827 Ghostbusters fire house HQ, it has 4,600 pcs, it has more Minifigures than this! I love the set in al, I'm a huge Lego fan with a channel devoted to Lego, but I still can't fork over $800 expessaly because I have the 2011 Millennium Falcon. I do think maybe someday we will get something bigger someday, but it will be a while. Great video Ryan!
