I love your videos, coming across them by chance. As I watched, though, there was just one thing that kept eating at me. I would be remiss not mentioning that you really ought to research the harmful, long-term adverse effects, especially on your childrens hormones and gut, and to their development from using plastics (and aluminum). I wouldn't even store my laundry soap in plastic, especially putting hot water into, especially for that long, or especially wrap bread with it, or even put products, I put on my or my childrens bodies, that have been stored in plastic. Plastic breaks down and leach chemicals differently, depending on the number that's in each of those triangles. Even putting product onto your body, those plastic particles and the chemicals make their way into lymph nodes all over your body, spreading throughout your lymphatic system, and eventually into your CNS and organs...and into your gut. Having worked in many different industries...I'll just say that companies research and pinch on what's cheapest, not necessarily what's healthiest, because they know that most consumers only think about the waste. 🤔 I'm really not trying to be facetious. Those numbers make a huge difference to your health, especially to children's development. I can sleep in peace now.

Wow "Project Mockingbird" I'm so impressed that you're aware of such things. But you are right, us baby boomers were programed and I keep saying that you young people will save the world. Women were brainwashed to go out and work and leave the children to others to help raise. That was one of the biggest regrets I ever made. Be grateful that you are home with your children. I’m 26 & feel so truly blessed that I became aware of all this at the age of 24. I was down like 10 different rabbit holes & reverting back to Catholicism at the same time, while also being separated from the military for refusing the v@x. I had my first baby this January & by the Grace of God have been a stay at home mom since before he was born. Your videos are a breath of fresh air, I truly consider you like a mentor that I never had. I recommend your channel to all my friends
It is such a breath of fresh air to hear you say that animal products should be the base of our diet. I am so sick of hearing how people are cutting back on meat. It is a trend that needs to end. Thank you!
They should be, it's what we had to survive on from the beginning of time It's the way the animals are treated before and during slaughter that I believe is the reason that their are "trends" and I'm all for it if you are really concerned about the animals. If you have animals you raise and use for food it's easy to say that you live on a meat diet because you likely don't treat them the way they are treated in big industries and even some companies, you don't get to see what goes on beyond what their marketing tells you which is all the information they give you on packaging unless you do your own research

I am a 47 year old mother of seven.... every single one was a tummy sleeper... They slept so much better. (And... we never had a flat headed baby!) Also, I gave them cows milk from day one, and had them eating food from the table with us completely by the age of six months.... Mashed up albeit... but they were able to eat what we ate. Maybe I should have been called a rebel as well!! That interview was really good.

So good to see channels like yours for the younger gens who fall prey to the negative side of social media and end up allowing it to define who they think they are. Another beautiful video. Another great topic. Love seeing your kids come in and out and you cheerfully tending to the baby in the midst of all your work. I’d much rather see this peak into another woman’s home and systems, than the very curated and edited videos where there isn’t a hair out of place and everything is staged 😄

I couldn't agree with you more. I was able to stay home with our daughter until she began school. Now I work 40 hrs a week, and find myself working my butt off on the weekends to garden, preserve and can and care of our little farm....2.5 acres. I believe the "women in the workforce" truly changed after world war 2. I feel the whole "empowering women" was a partial control/manipulation tactic. I could go on and on...but, I am so glad I came across your channel. God bless and thank you!
I love your channel. I will be 60 this year and have been growing gardens and preserving for years. I feel I have failed as my kids know nothing about growing and preserving.

I lived on a small homestad and I learnd when I was about 12 yrs old to cook. We had chickens, pigs, garden full of vegies, fruits, vineyard, field of corns, field of potatoes...my mum and I caned and preserved everything from garden, we harvested our meat...it is a work, and a lot of work. From march til november we were full speed. My parents worked outside ho 34:03 me and after that they continued working at home. A lot of families in my country still live this way... for me these are basic skills for life..
Love your talks. Looking forward to watching your canning videos. I’d love more gut health/cooking videos. What book do you recommend for gut healthy recipes? Sending lots of love
For starters im so glad I accidentally stumbled on your videos. [Sourdough one] but I love the videos I have already watched. I was blessed to have 4 of my own children. Homeschool and homestead life. It's expensive but totally worth it. The bible tells us to "come out of her my people" im glad my family (& many others) are waking up to the rat race for lack of better words.
I used to struggle really bad with time management but I started using trello and it has been a game changer. But I taylor it to my familes needs. Anyway be blessed I can't wait to learn even more from you. Your house is beautiful.
I feel like I could sit on the front porch for hours and just talk to you! My husband and I thankfully just started our own financial business to help people. We are both home with our kids all the time. No more trading time for a tiny income. The American dream is to have freedom. Now we trade very little time for our large income while building a passive income through business ownership.
Re food preservation: I remember in one of Amy Tan’s novels, an older Chinese woman who grew up in China during the Japanese occupation recalls the women of her family making what they called “thousand year old eggs”, an ancient way of preserving eggs, and burying them at night in a secret location on their farm, knowing the hardship that’s going to come. Later on, when there is no food and starvation going on all around them, those eggs literally save their lives. You are correct that these skills really must be passed on.
I'm new-ish to canning, may I ask you a question regarding the failed jar...What do you do with it? Do you use the contents right away, or do you discard it? I'm a dtr of a babyboomer who canned and was a rebel in her own right, but sadly passed away in 2023. She taught me the basics of how to can, but I don't ever remember my mom having a jar fail! HELP! 😊
I am a baby boomer. The end stages of one’s life is generally there last year may be a little less may be a little more. I am 64 years old, I will be 65 in the beginning of November. I do not believe that you meant anything offensive by your comment, but I was taken back. I have lost several family members in a short period of time. Half of them were younger than me. I will tell you that my grandmother lived through the depression. And my mother had the skills that my grandmother learned. When I was growing up, we burned our garbage, what we couldn’t burn. My dad had to drive it to the dump. There was a lot of livestock in peoples Homesteads. Very large gardens, even though we were building a suburb. We had a gravel road until I was in high school. Our road was paved in 1977 when I was a senior and that is also the year I graduated high school. All our meals were home cooked and being one of the older of 12 children, I had to do a lot of cooking. Our meals were from scratch for the most part. We did mostly have store-bought bread and a few things like that. But in the 1980s I was even shocked to see my mother buying all this process stuff. That’s one I think there was the really big push for processed foods. And look at the mess all these processed foods have made. We all need to take a step back in time as you are.
thank you for talking about real things we are all experiencing and have woken up to! Aint got time for fluff, these days are short! Question: Would you make a video talking about health insurance and what you do with your family? I recently got off of my parent's coverage. I am an overall healthy woman and rarely get sick or need to go to the doctor. I work in the medical field and think that health insurance is a financial scam, and I honestly do not want to pay for coverage when I most likely would never reach my deductible. Of course, I understand people have it for those, "what if" situations. I'm just curious of any thoughts or recommendations on this topic. Thank you for making such great content! I love watching, learning, and being inspired because this is the type of lifestyle I want for myself and my future family.
I’ve recently found that hospitals sell your organs when you have a c-section. Do you know how true this is? What did you do with your placenta after you had your free birth? Love your videos and learning from a fellow mother ❤
Girl, how do you stay somewhat clean and organized? We are about to have our first baby and I'm trying to prep things so my husband can take the reigns once I'm in postpartum. Laundry has never been something we could get "down." We have several laundry bags, he uses some, and I use the others. They always end up thrown in a corner, overflowing. He's in the medical field, so his scrubs must be washed separately. And we have no rhyme or reason for when we do laundry. It's a mess.

I feel the whole "empowering women" was a partial control/manipulation tactic. I could go on and on...but, I am so glad I came across your channel. God bless and thank you!
You will eat bugs and be happy that's our pathetic government. Your message is spot on.love your channel. I am 70.
Yep they’re telling us exactly what they want to do to us, time for people to wake up!
You’re amazing!! Bless you and Thank you.
Righteous rebel for sure!
Truth: It is a higher moral ground
I’m new to your channel and love your message and videos. Thank you!
I love your channel. I will be 60 this year and have been growing gardens and preserving for years. I feel I have failed as my kids know nothing about growing and preserving.
Sadly many young people have no interest in learning - it has to be a two way street! Older generations willing to teach *and* younger generations willing to learn and help!
This is honestly the best video I have ever watched on your channel!
Thank you so much for sharing that interview with the siblings one being a doctor who stepped away! Just fascinating !!
Yes! I saw the Tucker interview, and it was so eye opening. Thanks so much for encouraging all of us homemakers. God bless you and yours❤
PS - I mill my own grain as well and I love the idea of making our own frozen pizza. What a genius idea! Thanks!!
Thank you so much for your great content! I love watching your videos and your talks about our world problems :) Praying that you continue to thrive and share your experiences in all things homemaking ❤

I adore this video! I’m a UK RN. I only work two days a week and I feel this is good for us at the moment. I would love to learn to can but in the UK it’s very expensive to get the equipment. Great video ❤
I watched that interview-TWICE! Holy Golden Eff Bombs Batman!!! Preach it sister,
From cattle ranchers wife of 3 grown kids who stayed home on 65k acre ranch.
Your videos on TH-cam have been inspirational. I am also on a cleanse in all life things, trying to get on track with being more mindful for myself, my family and my home! One topic I am curious about is vaccination, and I'm not sure if you have already covered this topic, but why do you choose not to? I want to make more informed decisions about this for my family and I feel that your advice on this may help.
I love solving these world problems and hearing this stuff from someone other than my own mind!
L-Theanine (found in green tea) improves focus and concentration. I know you do not drink coffee but maybe this could help with improving your focus. Love your videos so much, God bless you and your beautiful family.
Loved this video! 💯 👏🏾
I've always cooked from scratch im 66 years old. Some women now a days don't cook, ,I think it's weird. But ever body is different.
Yes!! Amen! I agree❤
Love this.
Great video ❤❤❤
I'm new-ish to canning, may I ask you a question regarding the failed jar...What do you do with it? Do you use the contents right away, or do you discard it? I'm a dtr of a babyboomer who canned and was a rebel in her own right, but sadly passed away in 2023. She taught me the basics of how to can, but I don't ever remember my mom having a jar fail! HELP! 😊
Love your channel! Thank you! ❤
Oh I guess my rebel side is showing. Lol
You and my hubby would have great conversations….he went down many rabbit holes as well
Omg I love you even more now!!!
Based off of my last comment on your last video… I am very excited because this is the 3rd video in a week’s time. Woooo 😂🎉
Agree! Thanks for your insights.
thank you for talking about real things we are all experiencing and have woken up to! Aint got time for fluff, these days are short! May God bless you and your mission. ~ from another Millennial Catholic Mama of 7!

I just got my first pressure canner. I'm so excited and it was only a hundred dollars.
Hi Steph, I loved this video so much (total breath of fresh air :)
And just a little side note: the link in your description box for the canning video is actually a duplicate of the link to Tucker Carlson’s video
I was going to ask you if you watched the Tucker interview! It was so good.
How many tomato plants did you plant?
Depends on how much the family spends , you can raise a family on land. Cattle and crops 😊
I'm the same way we are always late to everything either because of me, my husband or the kids lol
If you do something delicious from leftovers instead put them in to trush bin that is fancy that is Magic that is ❤
Great video!!! Where’s that red gingham dress from? The one you’re wearing during the sponsor part
Neuflora!
Just curious to know if you ever got your oven under your range fixed? Was it expensive? Have a similar setup and was wondering…
How I enjoy these longer videos. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to talk with us and pass on all this knowledge you have learned so I don't gotta :)
Hey girl hey
I had to subscribe to your channel again. I was unsubscribed somehow. Happy to be back ❤
Question:
Would you make a video talking about health insurance and what you do with your family?
The people who crossed the Ocean were not "perusing the American Dream" yet❗ They were seeking Religious Freedom❗
Where did you get that dress? Stunning
