Traditional life is beautiful, my husband and I belong to a Traditional Latin mass and most women stay home do home school and their children are great not perfect but good kids so proud of you.
@hopewellheights I did a personal experiment: I watched an episode of "Sex and the City" and then one of your videos. I found myself feeling so much more fulfilled, in touch with reality, and excited about the adventure of motherhood and wife-life when watching your content! While shows like "Sex and the City" had their heyday 20 years ago and were considered "revolutionary" by some, I think they did a massive disservice to generations of women. They portrayed a life that only existed for a select few, and in the end, the characters were all miserable. Home is where the heart is, and having a family is such a blessing! I really enjoy watching and learning from your channel!
I love this comment because I own the entire series and when I went to watch some episodes maybe like 6 months ago, as I have been giving my life to Christ in the past year and changing in my secular/agnostic marriage and I watched it with new eyes and was like oh man.... NOPE. I don't know how it took me so long, and I always always loved and thought it was correct and ideal to stay home but wasn't always able to (disaster first marriage etc) I used to think sex and the city was freeing motivational funny... I literally can't watch it now without thinking....damn this is sad. I definitely know this is the right path and I feel very out of touch with culture these days but I feel very confident happy and not embarrassed. This is DEFINITELY the way to go. Wish I could take this knowledge and go back 20 years but.. unfortunately we don't get do overs, just forgiveness.🤷♀️
@user-dv8bs7tb5c I had the whole a series too, plus the movies. I recently got rid of them. Can’t believe I used to be obsessed with that show, knew most of it word for word too. Now I'm appalled at it, don't even understand why there was that fascination.
Registered nurse here. I have done both. Worked with my babies & retired & stayed home with my babies like you did. Trying to hold down a full time job with babies is absolutely horrific in every way. I love staying home with my babies & loving/respecting my husband 💕 ❤❤❤
I’ve been married 53 years and have always been a stay at home mom …& honored my husband as the head of our home… it’s been a wonderful life and I wouldn’t have had it any other way! If I could roll back time… I’d do it all over again.😀
I grew up in a large Catholic Trad household. I am a newly married (2yr) with a 9mo old girl! I just started sourdough and I made your apple fritters SO GOOD! I also made your detergent THANK YOU SO MUCH, Im loving your style in your homestead! I will hopefully one day have a garden! PS. Absolutely, loved your chat during the video :) Looking up to you mamma!
@@HopewellHeights Empty nest syndrome. It's horrible! I cried daily behind the scenes. Your life isn't ever the same again and you have to accept that first. As time goes on it gets better again. Now, the focal point is on us, husband and wife alone together and what "we want." Been through all the seasons and so far almost 44 yrs of marriage. Life is good again. 😊
I am currently having the same problem with my sister. I love to focus on my family, it doesen't matter what they're saying and it also doesen't hurt me anymore. I know, that I am doing the right thing for my family and myself! 😊
I was judged too. I told people I worked too hard and too long to get my children. Both are adopted. I was going to be the one to raise them. We didn't have near the thing's others did but I cooked from scratch, we didn't eat out much, drove older cars, etc. Did I envy them having more money to buy things? Nope. Did they envy me? Nope, not until everyone's children were grown and were out of the house and they realized how fast time went by. NOW, at 77 years old I have no regrets about staying home being a wife and mother. NOW, many of my friends are sorry they didn't do the same.
Good reminder that if your husband is not morally making the right choice, you do not have to honor that decision. Glad you said this in the video! So many don’t fully understand this.
@@ka6148 check out the TEN COMMANDMENTS, that's a good start. (Exodus 20:2-17) or (Deut 5:6-21). God comes first. The only way to have the spirit of discernment is to study Gods word and get to know His character, to help with those type of questions (on whether a husband is not making a biblical decision and whether you're supposed to agree).
@@ka6148 the correct order is for the husband to revere and obey God and consequently for the wife to submit to her husband. If the husband truly loves God and his wife, he will submit to God's authority. This all falls apart the moment the husband fails to do his duty before God and his wife. That leaves with the wife still having to submit to God though for He is ultimately our husband. Rom 13:1 Isa 54:5
I find taking care of our home and family was a blessing. We are now empty nesters and I’m still a stay at home princess. It’s allowed me the ability to take care of our home, and husband. I’m thankful my husband tells me home is work, but if you want to work outside the home do it. I don’t. I have the freedom to visit our children who live in two different states, travel or stay home and enjoy our home and the friendships I’ve made outside the home.
Hi Steph, I appreciate hearing your views. We have vastly different religious views, but even as a person who does not participate in organised religion, we share a lot of similar values. Your channel is a constant reminder to me of how important it is to understand the perspectives of all people, similar and different to one self.
I’m currently very annoyed with all the hate on motherhood in general and misunderstanding of being a traditional wife. I believe in what you mentioned, it’s all about using our own free will. I’m so happy I got to choose to go to uni, then work, then marry, then have our son. I love my tradwife life! It’s aligned with what God says and what just feels right. Love your videos and vulnerability to share!
I seriously love your videos. It is so nice to find someone who is not afraid to speak out and change the "norm" so to speak. Women have a role in their families not to other ppl. Also, your daughter holding the baby like a little pro is stinking adorable.
@@HopewellHeights Haha, I can imagine they'd be reluctant at times. It's a lot of work to live on a homestead!! That's my dream one day...but I'd still like to work. I love working...just not for other people. 🤣
While I am not a Catholic, I am a Christian. At 62 most of my life is over...and while I'm at peace with my history, if it were possible, I would go back in time and change some things. I did the best I could with the choices I made and situations I was presented with. I have been married nearly 40 years, and we have had a very...twisty road, but we genuinely love each other in a very deep and committed way. God bless you my new friend. 🙏 LUCRETIA
I love love love your channel and the fact that your views on life are catholic and you reference the catechism of the Council of Trent is the icing on the cake ;) God bless you and your beautiful family! May Our Lady is always with you 🙏🏻
I love you. I could go on about what I’m going through, my own life as full time SAHM to five and my mown Christian faith. But I don’t need to right now - I just love you and thank you xx your babies and home are beautiful, and so are you
Is it bad that I have to work? My family life doesn’t allow me to stay home. My husband’s health has changed since his heart attack and this also changed our family’s routines, our income, so much. I still provide for my family and we all do our part to keep the flow going and yet I’m still criticized for working. I thank you for your videos, your insight and strength. 🌻
Ultimately making sure your family is taken care of is truly what it means to be a wife and mother. Read proverbs 31. The virtuous wife worked...she was a wonderful business woman...working isn't the issue...neglect of the family for your own personal fulfillment would be very wrong.
If you must work to help your husband due to health reasons that is noble. It’s when women work just to make extra money to buy the things of this world or for power and self recognition that is a less virtuous path versus motherhood/wifehood.
Love that you bring up the importance of the moral foundation instead of just the exterior looks. The Church always brings such consultation and assurance with these topics.
The kittens are incredibly tiny and adorable. The baby is growing quickly, yet still appears so small on video-he is truly precious. I was born and raised in NYC and attended Roman Catholic school throughout my life. I appreciate you mentioning that a husband should never abuse his wife, either verbally or mentally. Xoxo 🙏🏼❤️
I would love to learn more about this from you!! I have been a stay at home mom for a year and a half now and i have been having a hard time adjusting and getting into a good routine.
Update: I really appreciate you sharing your journey on becoming a stay at home mom In your follow up video. That makes it real for those of us who are looking to do it. My husband says the way the world runs and corporations, working for them is just another form of slavery (for men and women). I'm christian and I have similar beliefs as you but also slightly different. In any case, I agree with the teaching that the wife has been given the privilege and responsibility to take care of the home and everything in it. In submission the church submits and also Christ to the church. This is why the wife submits and the husband lays down his life and loves her as Christ did for the church (which is also a form of submission and humility) Ephesians 5:22-33. Here's a thought the Husband if he is like Christ he's called to love regardless of what the wife does. Think about the church.. Christ died while we were still/yet sinners. Romans 5:6-8. His love is independent of her duty to him. I just think thats beautiful. Anywho, I believe it's important to also consider the dynamics of each home. The bible gives principles and that's what we follow above traditions (even traditions of the "church" which may not be completely biblical). So for example, my husband and I operate as a team. Does that mean he doesn't lead? No, but it means he acknowledges and respects my god given strengths and I do the same for him. So an example of this is that I am an accountant. We do our budget together and my husband spearheads the process. However, he is humble enough to realize that he's not the best in that area so he works we me, and we get it done together. Another example is in regards to work. My desire is to be a stay at home mom full time. However, my husband doesn't have the education to move up in his job and many jobs these days. He is well appreciated at work but corporations love paper before experience. Anywho, I'm working from home as he goes to school. He's half way now. To me I'm sacrificing for a time and teaming up with my spouse (a godly man) by allowing God to further develop him and help him to reach his goal so that he can fully take care of our family. So i say this all to say. I completely agree with the wife being home and her roles but i also want us to remember the bible and Jesus gave us principles and sometimes the application doesn't always look the same in each home and circumstance. When Jesus walked the earth his ways didn't "fit" the laws and traditions that the religious leaders had set at that time. He showed us a different picture of what it meant to fulfill the law and lived the principles. I also say this so that the wives who desire this way of living aren't discouraged because of how hard it may be to apply to their context. It may be easy for some wives but its not the same for everyone. However, definitely something worthy of working towards.😊 Sorry for the super long comment. Just felt it needed to be said.
Thankyou Renee, you have so exquisitely articulated your understanding of scripture and its application. I agree that principles are more important than tradition. Traditions usually develop out of culture and are not always held up for examination. I’d enjoy to hear more of your insights. You have a very loving and respectful way about you. Blessings, Ruth from Australia 🙏🏾
So happy you returned to the faith! I just encouraged two women this past month about their true vocation as wife n mother. Both deciding to leave their careers or just be very part time. Praying for them n all mothers to not be pulled from their true vocation.
I’m tired and have to get my day going… I have nothing profound to say.. but I just wanted to comment and say YES to all of this. God bless you and your voice in this crazy fallen world.
I have been a stay at home mom and wife for 15 years and it has been such a blessing from God. We are Pentecostal Christians and hold pretty close to your definition of a traditional housewife in the main aspects.
Excellent talk! Thank you for sharing! This is the first time ad a stay at home wife and mother I am satisfied to say it is a full time job and that is enough. I've felt so much pressure from others and society in general to do all the things. I wish more energy was put into teaching children the traditional roles and importance of homelife and family.
I love this video. After 2.5 years working FT, I'm quitting my job next week to come back home. We are wanting to grow our family and it wasn't happening while I was working.
THANK YOU!!! ❤❤❤ As a traditional Catholic wife who was raised by a traditional Catholic mother, it hurts my heart to hear the backlash we get. You explained it so well (thank you catechism of the Catholic Church for making it easier for us to cite scripture!)
I love this topic! God states his plan for women in the bible very clearing & yes many women will be argumentative towards this topic due to how society has so made women feel they have to have a career. If you don't know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord & Savior, it's hard to understand the view God gave us in the bible. I am a empty nester of 9 kids, 3 in heaven & 6 my husband & I were truly blessed to raise. He worked jobs that kept me home & I am so thankful to God that my husband made that a priority to do what it took to keep me home. We didn't have fancy things or go on fancy vacations & we were ok with that. Now I stay home running our house & do a business from home. I love tending to my house & taking care of my husband, it give me peace being the women God called me to be!!
I loved what you had to say! I’m a 70 year old mother of three daughters and five grandchildren. I never worked outside of the home since my first daughter was born. I loved being a homemaker and I’m glad I stayed home. It was what worked for us and I believed it was what God wanted for me to do. Love your videos and your beautiful family and homestead.
Outstanding video - Love all your Videos ♥️ We aren’t Catholic we are Christian Baptist but I agree with many of your points. I have been pretty much a Traditional Wife all my Life (76) and very happy 🙏🙏 Patricia
I work in the school system, so I have summers off and this so resonates with me. I stayed home with my babies ,then started working part time when they got older. Now they are grown and I'm so glad I chose to stay home.❤
Thanks for the interesting video! I'm a younger viewer (19) and getting married next month. At the moment I have two part time jobs, teaching Tae Kwon do and tutoring, both of which I love and plan to continue for a least a little after my wedding, but my to be husband and I agree, my primary duty will be in the home. I only plan to work for as long as we feel it isn't taking away from that in order to save money for a house more quickly. So my tenuous plan is to work full time ish between the two jobs until I have a child and then scale back to whatever my then husband and I decide is necessary! Fortunately for me, he said when I first talked about which job I would hold on to after we get married, that he never expects me to work outside the home. I just hope I will time the transition from full time to part time and part time to not at all well to serve my family as best I can.
I have 2 months of your videos to catch up on! So far I’m am elated with this video! Feels like my heart is rejoicing because these were the same feelings I was having years ago! When I first decided to come home from my job to be a sahm. As time went on I learned how to become a submissive wife and not be bitter about my duties. I was raised in a “feminist single mother “home unknowingly. This is something wives and women need to hear!
Oh my gosh, I’ve been wondering if you were Catholic!!! I’ve caught hints here and there but I wasn’t a 100% sure. So nice to see another Catholic mom here on TH-cam. You’re an inspiration!
Hello ,I am 62,I been a trad wife,But also worked out side home ,I agree with you 100% .I stopped to homeschool my youngest son he will be 35 in December. As for asking your husbands permission It is only common courtesy to let him know if it would cause a problem.Your videos are very enjoyable….Sandi .P.s I also keep my Grandsons a lot.ages 6 and9 .
I was just explaining this to my 5 year old daughter! By Vocation, a mom is married to a man, and her greatest gift and duty is getting to honor her husband and care for her husband, children, and whole household, thereby serving God. We also talked about the religious life for women, and how instead of the focus being on serving God by serving those in our household, that religious marry Jesus and focus on caring for those outside of their household and they don’t have kids. I agreed with every word you said! These things should be common sense. We can know things are good by their fruit. Leaning into the vocation to which we have been called will bear great fruit, as it is the will of God. Thank you for sharing!!
You are the first Catholic individual, who has explained this well, thank you! I would love to hear you talk about NFP, and “Catholic contraception “. I worked as well for a time while married and raising children….I always wanted to be a trad wife. I received my wish 9 years into motherhood, and was happy to raise 6 children! I am aware that economically for some it doesn’t work without 2 working. I had to make sacrifices in order to be able to stay home. I was so grateful for this privilege!!!
I’m an unmarried woman craving marriage and kids and homesteading. I love your videos. In my core I know you’re right but I have to work and it’s so hard. I’m a private chef and I use a lot of your recipes for my guest. I also hand out my sourdough (Beatrice) and send them links to your recipes. You’re inspiring. And so correct. Thank you
This has never been preached at my Catholic Church, ever. The Bible that I’m learning to spend more time reading, yes of course I see it. I was so absolutely blessed that I was a traditional wife but I’m old enough to be your mom. I agree with it all but, without the enormous contribution YOU MADE DURING COVID, would you have been able to have your property? I’m conflicted because if we are not in a homeschool situation, do we inspire our daughters to go to college and spend that amount of money on an education they won’t use? I value education, you used yours, you still are basically using it in a way teaching us though alternative but important things. Like I said I AM CONFLICTED.
A wise man once said; if you have two children a boy and a girl but can only afford to educate one of them. Educate the girl! for it is the women who teach the next generation!!
Great video! Love how you brought up the catechism of the council of Trent. Amazing stuff that everyone should read. As a new catholic, you should reach out to other catholic Podcasters and talk on their podcast about all this amazing stuff . Would love to hear and see more of you in the catholic world+
I absolutely loved this vid. Your opinions and facts about submission are just so in line with our reality. I love being a stay at home mom, especially as I learn to care best for my family. Clean healthier life. Amazing and rewarding. Thank you for your honesty in regards to your own marriage experiences..I found myself being that feminist as well. I am also Catholic and find myself questioning religion yet the points you have touched on today, align me with some of those religious beliefs. Ironic I know but I appreciate your video regardless of my opinions and beliefs. Thank you for sharing and being unafraid of other's opinions. By the way..I love the way your glasses look on you. I wish my pair would have looked as good. You rock them!!!❤
So beautiful. Thanks for sharing the Catholic faith- especially in light of the Council of Trent! I'd love a video on how to find or create Catholic communities. I'm really craving it!
Fellow “Rad Trad” wife, homeschool mom of 8. I completely agree! I’m so happy you came back to the one true Church and are being such a great voice for us wives and mothers. Please share where you get your great dresses. They look great for daily tasks plus nursing and still looking put together.
thank you for sharing this discussion. I am not Catholic but I have been married for 47 years and we have lived these truths out in our home. My kids are married with loving wives and families and my husband and I have a wonderful marriage that we work together make it successful and happy.....
For any of us who are struggling with deciding whether we can stay home with our kids or not, we need to go to God in prayer. We can’t base our decision on what anybody else says. Everyone’s going to have a different Opinion, the only one opinion that matters, though is God. So we need to look at our situation find the answers in the Bible for ourselves, and pray to God to lead us in the right direction that’s right for us. At the end the day, we are expected by God to provide and take care of our family, and that looks different for everyone.
This is the first video of yours I’ve seen and I just wanted to thank you for it. I struggle a lot with doubting myself as a wife and mother. My first marriage was a failure. I’ll save you the story but from that experience I came to doubt I could even be a good wife or make anyone happy at all. I found my current husband and he is a much, much better husband than my first one ever was but I carry a lot of negativity from my past that’s been compromising our relationship. I’ve been looking for a more objective definition of what a good wife is that I can refer to as kind of a roadmap for navigating through the negativity and self doubt and also hopefully use to repair my current marriage as well. Watching these trad wife videos has been part of my searching for that roadmap. A lot of them have been helpful to a point but like you touch on in this video, there’s a lot of aesthetics and focus on looking good for your husband. There’s nothing wrong with that per se, but I’m a 34 year old woman who hasn’t worn a full face of makeup since I was about 14 (and I don’t even know really how to do it!) with 2 children under 2. So you showing things like how it took you 3 days to film something that you planned on getting done in only a couple hours, or just wearing your pajamas all day, it’s very reassuring and relatable for me. I am also someone who is pretty strong willed and independent and the idea of giving up the reins to my husband is a challenge for me, but hearing that you went through rough times and were able to smooth them out by submitting gives me hope that we’ll be able to do the same. So thank you.
Definitely needing help in this area. How do you fit in your cleaning? Could you show us a cleaning schedule that you tend to do? I find it hard to clean and to cook and to be able to spend quality time!
I fluff a lot of feathers when I say I don't spend a dime without talking to my husband no matter how cheap and yes I always ask him before I go anywhere! And it's not controlling or anything he's always trying to get me out of the house socializing more!😂
I dont wait for his permission necessarily, we respectfully are very open with where we are going and what we are doing. Our relationship is very close we are eachothers best friends even while he is at work he calls me numerous times a day telling me what he's up to and where he is going as well..I pray you both have great marriages one day ❤
I'm not locked in my house beaten and told I can't leave until I talk to him first, I can do whatever I want whenever I want..but respectfully I communicate with my husband about it first. Also he works far away from the home so for safety reasons as well, it's a good idea he knows our general location..I think some people just assume it's the man forcing this to happen and it's certainly not😊
@trishanderson1505 it depends where I am going, if I want to take the kids to the park, I tell him. Foe safety where we will be. If I'm going to a store to spend money, I ask, he is in charge of the financial aspect of the relationship. I choose not to be. So I ask if I can go, because he will not say no I can't leave the house, he will just be like okay well we have this and this bill to pay and we have this much until pay day so don't spend over this much. It's all balanced and respectful.. Regardless how I worded it, saying someone needs a grip on life, maybe wasn't the best response anyway?
Loved this video and chat and seeing you look after your family. I am wondering if you could talk about the fulfillment of helping others through work outside the home. I understand by looking after the home and family there is a great sense of fulfillment and being involved in the community can bring that as well. What about the difference you could make to other people's lives in a job that you love and where you get to help them? I'm not pushing back at all, just genuinely interested in people's take on that. Hope the question makes sense
I love your way of thinking, yes we do get to pick out husbands and I submit to my husband as I chose him for my lifelong partner. He has his responsibilities and I have my own. 💕🌺
Always love your videos! I hope you will do a "2024 Homeschool plan" video, I just watched your 2022 and 2023 videos and loved them so I'm hoping and watching for another for this coming school year! :)
Hi, Steph I am watching this on my 14 year wedding anniversary. My husband and I were 29 when we got married in our beautiful yard surrounded by a grove of Aspen trees and joy and hope filling our hearts. Marriage takes a lot of hard work, forgiveness, and sacrifice, the road was not always easy but it was worth it. We never gave up on each other no matter how hard things got, and we had some really bad fights and said things that were really hurtful to each other! Jesus is the only reason we got through all of our problems since He is the one who brought us together. God told me to marry my husband after knowing him for less than a week, I lived in Washington state and my husband lived in Indiana, we talked on the phone for about 8-10 hours a day for 9 months and Skyped a lot as well. We were totally honest about everything we talked about , I moved over 2,000 miles to be with him than a few days later we got married! We have three kids together 12, 10, and 8 years old. We own our house, land, and car and live in a beautiful mountain area now! To God be the glory! I agree with the things you said that were biblical such as a married woman being submissive to her husband and the biblical reasons why and the point you made about women willingly submitting their bosses who don't love them but not submitting to their own husbands who love them! These beliefs of being a stay at home wife who submits to her husband and tries to follow the bible accurately have caused so many problems for me I literally have no female friends. They think I am weird, many of them say they are Christian's but as soon as you quote the bible and try your best to live by what it says they get mad and stop talking to me. I am a Christian and believe the bible is the word of God. I was born and raised for 30 years of my life at an R.L.D.S Church which is the second largest denomination of Mormonism. God rescued me from this cult and it was the hardest thing I ever went through. I had to leave the state I was raised in my whole life, my family, my friends, but it was worth it to follow the biblical Jesus. When I left the Mormon church I studied theology and other religions and denominations that claimed to be Christian at a college level for 8 hours or more most days of the week for over 5 years. ( I continue to study theology today, I just don't spend as many hours as I did since I have three kids, I home school etc.) I wanted to know how to follow Jesus correctly and I never wanted to be deceived again! I study the bible everyday and read it from the beginning to the end and start over when I am done. If I read something that is different from what I believe or what I am doing I try to change my beliefs to go by what the bible says and not lean on my own understanding, biases, personal experiences, feelings, or what theologians, bible teachers say if its different from what the bible actually says in context. Being a submissive stay at home wife and mother that loves Jesus is not popular but it's so worth it!
I appreciate all you do and share your family and your household tips, recipes, etc with us. Can you drop some links to your dresses and they are beautiful. I you love to be able to order some. Thank you!!
There is nothing more special for a wife (moms) to stay home to nurture the children. I think kids grow up more happy and are more content. I agree with you about the stress being very unhealthy. I enjoy your content. ❤ Regards from Saskatchewan Canada
Having worked outside of the home and feeling trapped in it, I totally agree with you. As a young woman I thought I wanted a career. After having my first baby , we had made some financial mistakes and I felt like I had to continue working. After a very long time I was able to come home. I praise God for it. I wish I knew then what I know now and I would have never planned on working outside the home.

YES! The only Happy and Content one was Charlotte, and she gave her career up to be at home for her husband and daughters.
@user-dv8bs7tb5c I had the whole a series too, plus the movies. I recently got rid of them. Can’t believe I used to be obsessed with that show, knew most of it word for word too. Now I'm appalled at it, don't even understand why there was that fascination.

I also made your detergent THANK YOU SO MUCH, Im loving your style in your homestead! I will hopefully one day have a garden! PS. Absolutely, loved your chat during the video :) Looking up to you mamma!
You're in such a beautiful stage of life. You're a great mom, and your babies will have so many beautiful memories to look back on and cherish.
It is so sweet, having them all under my roof and I know I’m going to miss it when they start flying the coop!
I was judged big time by my sister and her friend for being a stay at home mom, I loved staying home and being there for my children.
I am currently having the same problem with my sister.
I love to focus on my family, it doesen't matter what they're saying and it also doesen't hurt me anymore.
I know, that I am doing the right thing for my family and myself! 😊
I was judged by my own mother, who wanted me to be a career woman...but I just wanted to be an housewife and a mother!
Homemaker here too!!!! ❤
Can't buy those windows of time and opportunity back. We're choosing investments that will pay back in eternal dividends. ❤
Amen! God always comes 1st.
Where is that written ?
@@ka6148 check out the TEN COMMANDMENTS, that's a good start. (Exodus 20:2-17) or (Deut 5:6-21). God comes first. The only way to have the spirit of discernment is to study Gods word and get to know His character, to help with those type of questions (on whether a husband is not making a biblical decision and whether you're supposed to agree).
Catechism of Trent
@@ka6148 the correct order is for the husband to revere and obey God and consequently for the wife to submit to her husband. If the husband truly loves God and his wife, he will submit to God's authority.
This all falls apart the moment the husband fails to do his duty before God and his wife. That leaves with the wife still having to submit to God though for He is ultimately our husband.

Such a blessing!
Yes, feminists want women to have their own strong opinions....unless it's about being a traditional wife and mother😅
I seriously love your videos. It is so nice to find someone who is not afraid to speak out and change the "norm" so to speak. Women have a role in their families not to other ppl. Also, your daughter holding the baby like a little pro is stinking adorable.
It was nice seeing your kids in this video... they're such sweethearts and look like good kids as well as good helpers!
They are great helpers!! Reluctant at times but you’ll have that! 🤣
@@HopewellHeights Haha, I can imagine they'd be reluctant at times. It's a lot of work to live on a homestead!! That's my dream one day...but I'd still like to work. I love working...just not for other people. 🤣
I love this. Thank you so much for posting your content. I love that your showing it's possible with new babies as well.
My goodness your baby has the prettiest
eyes. He is gorgeous.
🙏 LUCRETIA
I love the list and love your discussion about the Church teachings. So needed.
I love love love your channel and the fact that your views on life are catholic and you reference the catechism of the Council of Trent is the icing on the cake ;) God bless you and your beautiful family! May Our Lady is always with you 🙏🏻
Thank you for your content, I appreciate it so much.
Amen, beautiful testimony. God bless you and your family
I love you. I could go on about what I’m going through, my own life as full time SAHM to five and my mown Christian faith. But I don’t need to right now - I just love you and thank you xx your babies and home are beautiful, and so are you
I can always count on you to reassure me and remind me of the most important things in life. Thank you ❤
you are such a joy to listen to! please turn these into podcast episodes 💛🥰
I need to! I love to chat and could talk forever lol!
I would 1000% listen to her all day!!!! I'd love a podcast.
I am loving to stay at home, and I agree with the 7 points , and teaching my girls the same.❤️
I love it! My marriage took a turn for the worse when I worked outside of the home. Unfortunately it was lost.....
You need a podcast! I absolutely love listening to your chatty videos while cleaning on in the kitchen!! 😊❤
LOVE this! You say things a lot more gracefully than I would ever be able to! I love being a “trad” wife
Spot on! Thank you for sharing the church's beautiful teaching ❤
How lovely Steff, seeing your beautiful happy children as well. Your raised garden beds look fab. Grear video ❤❤
Thank you! ❤️
I just love your videos so much its so calming
Your pop pie looks wonderful! I have been married 43 yrs I worked half of those years and stayed home half of them. I always loved been home more! ❤❤❤
However, definitely something worthy of working towards.😊
Sorry for the super long comment.
Loved hearing this from a catholic perspective 💗
Great topic. ❤ I chose to stay home for my family and I can see what a difference it made to us all. They are all becoming parents themselves now.
I didn't know you were Catholic! That's awesome!
I love this video. After 2.5 years working FT, I'm quitting my job next week to come back home. We are wanting to grow our family and it wasn't happening while I was working.
THANK YOU!!! ❤❤❤
As a traditional Catholic wife who was raised by a traditional Catholic mother, it hurts my heart to hear the backlash we get. You explained it so well (thank you catechism of the Catholic Church for making it easier for us to cite scripture!)
Your kids are beautiful! You are a true inspiration! God bless! I don’t think the subject was controversial, it is just the truth!
This was wonderful
I love hearing from women who saw it through and raised a happy healthy family!! Well done!! 👏🏽
Thank you for your kind heart and for being brave and sharing your Catholic faith. Our faith can be so misunderstood at times.
Thank you so much ,for this video greetings from the Netherlands.
Outstanding video - Love all your Videos ♥️
We aren’t Catholic we are Christian Baptist but I agree with many of your points. I have been pretty much a Traditional Wife all my Life (76) and very happy 🙏🙏
Patricia
I work in the school system, so I have summers off and this so resonates with me. I stayed home with my babies ,then started working part time when they got older. Now they are grown and I'm so glad I chose to stay home.❤
Great conversation!
Wise words. Beautiful baby.
A Country Life and The Sacred Heart Homestead are also Catholic women. I am a Christian, but like both of these channels.
Love this. Your opinion is SO valuable as somehow who HAS worked outside the home.
Well said! Great to hear the truths of the faith! God’s plan and the church’s teachings just offer the best way to live and thrive❤
I love that catechism list!
Hi watching from Kenya in africa i just love your content started watching yesterday
Great video!
Love how you brought up the catechism of the council of Trent. Amazing stuff that everyone should read.
As a new catholic, you should reach out to other catholic Podcasters and talk on their podcast about all this amazing stuff . Would love to hear and see more of you in the catholic world+
Well put and spot on! Thank you for talking about this, especially in a world that detest righteous living through the Word of God
You rock them!!!❤
Love your dress! Please share where you find your beautiful dresses!
That is the most well stocked fridge i have ever seen @27:35
So beautiful. Thanks for sharing the Catholic faith- especially in light of the Council of Trent! I'd love a video on how to find or create Catholic communities. I'm really craving it!
Fellow “Rad Trad” wife, homeschool mom of 8. I completely agree! I’m so happy you came back to the one true Church and are being such a great voice for us wives and mothers.
Please share where you get your great dresses. They look great for daily tasks plus nursing and still looking put together.
They're Neu Flora I believe
thank you for sharing this discussion.
Have you done a video explaining what made you want to convert to catholicism? If not, I'd be interested in hearing your opinion
Definitely needing help in this area. How do you fit in your cleaning? Could you show us a cleaning schedule that you tend to do? I find it hard to clean and to cook and to be able to spend quality time!
You're a light to the world! 🕯️
Please make some videos on preparing for pregnancy and also some videos on caring for a newborn/infant! You are so knowledgeable
Love that you share the Catholic Faith in your videos 😍 Thr Council of Trent Cathecism is such a good resource!
excellent talk🌷God bless all mothers🌷
Loved this so much ❤
I fluff a lot of feathers when I say I don't spend a dime without talking to my husband no matter how cheap and yes I always ask him before I go anywhere! And it's not controlling or anything he's always trying to get me out of the house socializing more!😂
You lost me at “I ask before I go anywhere” - that’s not trad wife, that’s you need to get a grip.
Also he works far away from the home so for safety reasons as well, it's a good idea he knows our general location..I think some people just assume it's the man forcing this to happen and it's certainly not😊
@@PaigeMadH that all sounds perfectly balanced and healthy. That is not what you initially typed. You said “ask”.
Two years ago I started submitting to my husband and it changed our marriage for the better. We never fight unfair anymore and we make up faster.
Always love your videos! I hope you will do a "2024 Homeschool plan" video, I just watched your 2022 and 2023 videos and loved them so I'm hoping and watching for another for this coming school year! :)
I was judged from my in laws for being a stay at home Mama. My kids today are greatful I did.
Hi, Steph
I am watching this on my 14 year wedding anniversary.
I love Javy coffee you don’t need no sweetener & just water hot or cold.
Excellent video! My life has followed a similar pattern as yours and I completely agree 🎉❤
I appreciate all you do and share your family and your household tips, recipes, etc with us. Can you drop some links to your dresses and they are beautiful. I you love to be able to order some. Thank you!!
I have so many videos to catch up on❤
There is nothing more special for a wife (moms) to stay home to nurture the children. I think kids grow up more happy and are more content. I agree with you about the stress being very unhealthy. I enjoy your content. ❤

Another great video, baby is beautiful, God bless. Love how your channel has grown.
