Coverts are actually better muslims
As a designer, this was so relatable. I had to turn down a lot of high-paying projects and jobs because they had a haram element. But alhamdulillah in the end Allah provides you from places you don't expect.
Alhamdulillah, same and relatable.. Leaving Haram for Allah (SWT) will lead to Allah to give You more and Put more baraka to it on what you're doing Currently halal
Subhan Allah it really is. As a designer I've also had to turn down job opportunities because of the haram elements. Allah is the best of providers. The more haram we turn down, the more the Almighty provides.

Alhamdulillah Allah has guided my classmate to the straight path. He took his shahada yesterday he's only 13 years old and his family are atheist. I feel bad because it will be hard for him may Allah have Mercy. Alhamdulillah tho I will take him to Jummah and help him pray and seek knowledge.

Allah helped him to convert to Islam so you should always be grateful to Allah. He guides the ones who he wills
keep up the good work...no rush learning and practicing should be step by step ..its better for him to keep his islam secret till he decide to a announce it, by then his behavior improvement will be his best support in confronting the world or his family if they didnt support him

As a designer, I can TOTALLY relate to this. I didn't have the luxury of freelance projects, but looking for a job. A self taught designer, I knew I would struggle to get my foot in the door without any experience, but I persisted in designing my portfolio and 20 years later (part of me being lazy) I managed to get a job in the design field for a very big company in a certain industry. The pay is ok, but I knew wouldn't be designing anything that goes against me religion. The interview process was soooooooo easy, I woundnt even call it an interview, as it was an informal talk.
Alhamdulillah, been here a few years, they've given me my own prayer room (which I didn't ask for), allowed me to work for more days from home and they won't book any team dinners, unless it's 100% halal restuarnt/no alcohol. Alhamdulillah.
With such a firm foundation in pleasing Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, look how HE opens doors 😢😊

I have been looking for a job till now for the past 3 years in the design industry and because I was getting rejected from every possible chance I just gave up and said maybe it's not for me but after reading your story I will just trust Allah work hard and hope for the best, thank you ❤

I am an interior architecture student. In my mind, I was always questioning between my religion and my job, just like this brother. Why did I choose this job? Couldn't I have chosen a job that would allow me to practice Islam better? These kinds of questions were always in my mind. Don't get me wrong, I am in love with Islam. I just wasn't sure about the job I chose. While I was thinking about these, Alhamdulillah this video inspired me. After graduating from university, I want to make beautiful works for Islam. I was so afraid of many things but wasn't expecting that Allah swt would have their hearts open to me and they said don't worry about it. You have every right to choose what you want to work on. The timing of this could not be more profound for me. I am leaving a life of banking and finance after nearly 20 years because it hasn't sat well with me for a while. I'm heading into unknown territory but I believe that Allah provides for all, and your rizk is yours only. As daunting as it is, we need to put trust in Allah SWT.

The first time I read about Peter Gould was years ago when I was a journalist in a children's magazine in Indonesia. Amazed by his story as a muslim designer, I wrote an article about him in the magazine. Until now, I am still amazed by his achievement and his strong faith. Masya Allah, Tabarakallah.
