I'm so sorry to hear that you had to go through this. Although I come from a Muslim family by birth, our mother was a very narcissistic person and made everyone's life a living hell. Though not related to religion (we are all Muslim), she was a very arrogant and manipulative individual. Friction between parents and children is always horrible and leaves lifelong scars. I'm 65 now and still feel a terrible loss.
Same.. Though she was Orthodox Christian. I just find it funny that she has the nerve to call herself a good / noble person & a person of God! People are wicked.. No matter the religion & how strong the basis is, somehow they never lead a righteous lifestyle.. Oh yeah, she never ACTUALLY fully-read the Bible either lol. It's maybe thanks to HER I thought religion was all so wicked, I at one point even hated religious people & I called myself an "atheist", even though I always believed in God's existence but I am ashamed to admit if I spoke to God it was mostly negative.. I still catch myself committing this sin to this day when things are really-bad in life, I hope he forgives my ignorance because of my pain. It's amazing how much damage a parent can do to your mental health but I found peace in no-longer hating her, I don't want to say I forgive her because she's evil and there is no repenting of any sort, she genuinely believes her ways are fine but I guess I just don't hold any feelings towards her at all, her existence just means nothing to me and that's how I save myself from her doing any more harm to me ever again, our abusers LIVE through us, whether it's fear of them or hatred of them.. That's why s*xual abusers are devils-in-flesh, what they did to their victim is extremely hard to just forget, forgive or ignore how I just described.. Let's pray for the mental well-being & freedom of mind & soul of victims of these truly despicable crimes.

@ God Almighty forbade the consumption of pork in the Old Testament. The question is why. Why would God Almighty forbid it? Does He the one who created all the creation including humans and pigs/hogs not know what is best for us to consume? We can’t really rely on the opinions of people nor society without Divine guidance because we know that societies such as china eat human fetuses, etc. So, we need Divine Revelation as a basis of morality and guidance for our lives. The Quran is Divine Revelation confirming what was sent before in previous scriptures and clarifying that which was/is unclear. Scientists and doctors confirm that pork is likely the cause of cancers, tapeworms, heart disease, high blood pressure, neurological diseases, seizures, and other parasites. Some studies suggest a potential association between high pork consumption and an increased risk of certain chronic diseases like multiple sclerosis. Here in the U.S. pork was promoted bc it was cheaper than other meats. However, God Almighty forbade pork consumption thousands and thousands of years prior to these experts conclusions which brings us back to the point of what do is the basis of our morality?

For this reason, pork meat is not healthy to eat, even from a medical point of view, because it can cause various types of serious diseases, such as skin cancer. We all have brains and the ability to think in understandings, so everyone should be allowed to have the religion they want and which they think and feel is correct, without judgment. All religious books are available to all of us. Religion is not what you inherited from your parents at birth, because religion is usually traditionally inherited from your parents, and that does not necessarily mean that it is correct. You need to read, study and understand the truth. Religion is not tradition.

God is not DEAF, neither likes people to show Him their backs when they pray or reciting a terrorist MANUAL as th Quran, this is why NOBODY is saved through ISLAM because ISLAM never existed and never will, And here is the reason: The true God favored the Jews as His chosen people in Exodus 3:14, when God spoke to MOSES at Mount Sinai, He said "I AM WHO I AM, tell this to the CHILDREN of ISRAEL, I AM sent you" Note that God never said that I am ALLAH or my children are Arabs, Gentiles, Hindus and Buddhists. Etc.. But now with Jesus we all can become God's new children by getting baptism, as Jesus was in Matthew 3:16 by Elijah, and our names will be written in the book of life, Revelation 20:15 and in HEAVEN Luke 10:20, Otherwise, we all will be CONDEMNED Mark 16:16. Jesus as God came down from HEAVEN .( John 6:37-40) to defeat Satan, which NOBODY else could have done this voluntarily for us to die and be RAISED again from the dead, He is the Lord and never lies, He is THE author of Life, Acts 3:15. Jesus and the Father are ONE, John 10:30. The rest are The ANTICHRIST and are competing with the TRUE God.

I'm so sorry to hear that you had to go through this. Although I come from a Muslim family by birth, our mother was a very narcissistic person and made everyone's life a living hell. Though not related to religion (we are all Muslim), she was a very arrogant and manipulative individual. Friction between parents and children is always horrible and leaves lifelong scars. I'm 65 now and still feel a terrible loss.

I still catch myself committing this sin to this day when things are really-bad in life, I hope he forgives my ignorance because of my pain. It's amazing how much damage a parent can do to your mental health but I found peace in no-longer hating her, I don't want to say I forgive her because she's evil and there is no repenting of any sort, she genuinely believes her ways are fine but I guess I just don't hold any feelings towards her at all, her existence just means nothing to me and that's how I save myself from her doing any more harm to me ever again, our abusers LIVE through us, whether it's fear of them or hatred of them.. That's why s*xual abusers are devils-in-flesh, what they did to their victim is extremely hard to just forget, forgive or ignore how I just described.. Let's pray for the mental well-being & freedom of mind & soul of victims of these truly despicable crimes.

@ God Almighty forbade the consumption of pork in the Old Testament. The question is why. Why would God Almighty forbid it? Does He the one who created all the creation including humans and pigs/hogs not know what is best for us to consume? We can’t really rely on the opinions of people nor society without Divine guidance because we know that societies such as china eat human fetuses, etc. So, we need Divine Revelation as a basis of morality and guidance for our lives. The Quran is Divine Revelation confirming what was sent before in previous scriptures and clarifying that which was/is unclear. Scientists and doctors confirm that pork is likely the cause of cancers, tapeworms, heart disease, high blood pressure, neurological diseases, seizures, and other parasites. Some studies suggest a potential association between high pork consumption and an increased risk of certain chronic diseases like multiple sclerosis. Here in the U.S. pork was promoted bc it was cheaper than other meats. However, God Almighty forbade pork consumption thousands and thousands of years prior to these experts conclusions which brings us back to the point of what do is the basis of our morality?

Someone needs to explain to this girl's mother as well as to Christians and Orthodox Christians who have not read in the Bible that pork is forbidden to them as well and not only to Muslims. A pig is an omnivorous animal, it eats its own excrement, carrion... everything it finds, it even eats its young if it is weak or dies. For this reason, pork meat is not healthy to eat, even from a medical point of view, because it can cause various types of serious diseases, such as skin cancer. We all have brains and the ability to think in understandings, so everyone should be allowed to have the religion they want and which they think and feel is correct, without judgment. All religious books are available to all of us. Religion is not what you inherited from your parents at birth, because religion is usually traditionally inherited from your parents, and that does not necessarily mean that it is correct. You need to read, study and understand the truth. Religion is not tradition.
