As a Christian , I think what her family did to her was horrible , a religion is something you should choose to believe in , even though I still believe in Christianity over islam , I totally understand this girl’s situation , she didn’t deserve that , if you want to be a Christian you have to have a heartfelt conversation with God in your prayer and you need to accept him yourself and believe in him so he can enter your heart , her parents were too hard on her to the point where they drove her thoughts away from the reality that God cares for all of us and that he gave us the free will to pick him and not to be forced to let him lead our path , may the Lord be with this girl and her struggles , may the Lord also be with whoever is reading this , amen 🙏🏼

Masha Allah tabarak your faith is strong ❤
I too I was hiding from my father when i prayed first times in my life ! even I was raised in Muslim country but my father was not praying and he don't like the "strict Islam" like he called it (which was normal Islam) and he was more a traditional Islam or what you can call more cultural than real worship : for exemple he fast because all people are fasting but never prayed ! so I was afraid if he discovers that I pray so I prayed in secret until i became an adult ! so I feel what is it to don't able to assume our believe freely ! :/ but now I am good :)
May I ask. What country? I lived in a cultural Islam family too but then we started to take it more seriously lol
So happy to hear that, Alhomdulileh
