- When the bite gets tuff! You can always count on livebait! In this case I will be fishing with my Bfs setup...Soloking Acura Pro paired with the Ace Hawk Cu Double...all I can say that every Jumbo Bluegills caught felt big! Especially with this Ultralight setup!

I’m on my third phenix bfs classic now ! I upgraded to the 7’”4 this time . This makes me want to get after some bluegill now !! Hahah
The 7ft 4 should be perfect for the Jumbo Bluegills can get distance with the lighter lures or live bait...remember when the Jumbo Bluegills bite they fight harder than a 3lb or 4lb bass have fun! GOOD LUCK!

So weird my phenix classic bfs 7 1 just broke as well right after yours. Broke it at the Barrett opener on a 4 pounder. East county bait and tackle swapped mine out the other day, clutch!🔥👊🏼

I remember catching bunch of jumbo blue gills at lake Hodges back in the days not so many now a days there😤😤😤
Back in the days...there were plentiful...so now a days especially here to get a Jumbo is rare...might try out Lake Hodges and see how big they are but first...going to have to put time into the Lake to know exactly where they are at...then again thanks for watching! Come catch a Big Jumbo here at Murray you will be surprised once you find them.
