To be honest...Lake Murray is a Tuff Lake...I would suggest Lake Jennings...Check they are stocking and go that Friday or Weekend...Hermit Cove is usually crowded but chances of landing a Trout or limit of Trout is good there. Ultralight set up spinning set up should be fine mini Jig Atomic Tube in Grasshopper color works great there and Rainbow powerbait carolina rig with 6lb main line to 2 to 4lbs mono leader! As for the Chi X Rod I also use for Bass fishing...great all around rod feel every bite especially when you hook onto a Big Bass! The wooden rod is the Yumingbu Chi-XI Rod...it's a great rod even caught some decent size Bass on it...the lure rating is 1.5 - 8gram...hope this helps!

TBH all my CDM...can't cast one Gram at a fishable distance no problem with the right rod, line and other factor as for my JDM set up none of them can throw 1 gram with even switching to lighter rod..been looking online a Spool upgrade may be needed for them maybe later in the future I will do a spool upgrade and see If it helps out but for now those are my set up for Bass fishing! As for Panther Martin, Kastmaster, or any type of Spoon it can cast far out...usually until the end of the Spool...usually if I cast that far out Bass will start to hit it! As of right now Bfs fishing is just a whole lot of fun...here's I sneak peek for this Upcoming Bass fishing season! My first Daiwa Bfs reel - Daiwa Salamandura bfs paired with Daiwa Salamandura light action Rod! Plus the Daiwa Salamandura 70 paired with the Daiwa Blazon Rod! Be on the lookout for these videos going to test them Combos out and see how I like them!

Those Phenix Classic are no Joke! I have all 3 model love them all...can't wait for Bass fishing to heat up a little and Bring them Back out! So far last year a 5lber hopefully bigger this year! As for those Panther Martin they are Deadly...plus landed some Jumbo Bluegills on them also...as for the Ultralight set up its crazy the Best fighting fish I have on them so far are Jumbo Bluegills feels like my rods are about to Break letting some drag out helps alot...they even fight harder than the 5lber Bass I caught last year! Second would be a Redear them 3rd a Channel Catfish caught here at Lake Murray...The CDM are cheap in price but works absolutely great! Hope you and early B-Day and hopefully you get an Ultralight Set up!

@enriquetorres1014 Usually I just head out to the Lake and ask the Ranger they will let you know or the Bait Store Clerk...but in the Colder months they do get Stock by the DFG! If they don't Stock that day...I usually just do Bass fishing!

First off Happy New Year! It's tuff here but if you find them...it's back to back action...but Bluegills is still fun especially here when the Jumbos bite...then thanks for watching be safe and get them the next time you fish there!

Great questions...as for me over the years of fishing! I use all 3 The tube, paddle tail, and Straight tail...but the Tube are more consistent for me...Best color for them is the Grasshopper also the Atomic Teaser tube with mice tail is also my go to.For paddle tail I've only Landed 1 on them while fishing at Lake Cuyamaca years ago probably won't be my go to for Trout fishing it was on a Creme lure paddle...might give that a go again next year! As for Straight tail power worms in Orange or Pink either on a jig head or Drop Shot works great! Throwing all these bait mentioned on bfs is absolute fun...and great on Ultralight Spinning set up! Not only these 3 lures mentioned catch Trout they also catch other Freshwater Species which makes it even more fun! Then great questions...hope this help...thanks for watching! Bro chill, up here in the PNW we bonk em and rip gills and toss em in a cooler bag. 😂 he's ripping hatchery, they ain't wilds. Lol. And I'm from SD so I do know what's in the waters. Id put more effort into reporting poachers instead of putting down another brother taking food home to smoke on the grill.

@MrEastside619Fishing, 1lb bass and a catfish, I went there 3 consecutive days, no one else really fishes there, only people there are just people walking on the trail. I used a spinner bait and chicken. Theirs a little stream that connects Morrison pond to Sweetwater reservoir.

To be honest...it's winter time! Fishing real slow is the key...sometimes dead sticking...in most cases going finesse is Best! Watch my tip video on the Neko Rig/Ned Rig follow that process and you should get bit if going for Bass! If your going for other species, Bluegills, Redear, Trout or Catfish! This video should help alot! Then again baits I use is the 3 inch Senkos neko Rig and the Z Man finesse Trd ned rig! Also the good old Kastmaster works great here 1/8 oz to a 1/4 oz working mid depth and the occasional twitch! Hope this help! Early morning to noon.

Thanks been fishing this Lake for years...last time I was there...I heard the campground area was on fire 🔥...but if you want to catch a Trout almost Guranteed go to Hermit Cove all the way at the end both side of the parking! Usually it will be Jam pack but if you can get a spot you most likely will catch a Trout! Hope this help and thanks for watching!

It can be tough out there but keep trying! Not going to lie but been getting SKUNK a couple fishing before and after that...but it's good that you get to fish with your young one...my tip for this type of situation is check each lake your planning to go to...when they are stocking and then go a day after or the weekend after the release! Nice...wish I would've waited...I bought mine with only the Shallow spool at that time the 2 spool option was all sold out but I'm happy with this purchase! Might opt for another just for the extra spool...then again thanks for watching!

Lol...I do occasionally get those snag alot but they do catch Trout and also Bass at certain lake here...about those Panther Martin I bought the 6 pack including these 3 pack of Kastmaster and was deciding on should I shoot a video on the Kastmaster or the Panther Martin...Kastmaster it was...but can't wait to Try the 6 pack of Panther Martin and see if I can land my first Trout on them until then thanks for watching!
