The best thing that happened at that tournament it was Hermantown vs St Thomas and Hermantowns student section started chanting “We’ve got girls”
Awesome montage. This is why I watch the Minnesota HS hockey tournament every year, regardless of which teams play. This was one of the best tournaments I've seen yet. Congrats to all who got a chance to play.

This tournament is truly something special. I played in the state tourney and lost to Totino Grace in the championship game (Those recruiting bastards), but even football is compared to the hockey tournament. Such a great atmosphere.

Gawd, I love the guy who is the Maple Leaf @ 1:00 .. Such a legend. Besides BSM winning it that yr with the whole Jabs thing. The Maple Leaf... will never forget lol
this is why we are know as the State Of Hockey.
not to mention the games get broadcasted all over the US. I talked to kids in alaska who said they got fox sports north regular season games on tv up there.

Because Minnesota is sometimes called the state of hockey i am a Minnesotan and trust me we love our hockey here u should see how packed the arena is during a NHL game
haha i sat in the suite next to jabby...kinda exciting sitting by them for the whole entire turny...also BSM had the greatest student section ive ever seen. BSM FTW
not at all u have NO idea how crazy hockey is in mn I went to every state tourney game and we sold out every class AA game for sure
division 1 comes from all over the world not just the states plus the bulldogs and gophers are sick at hockey anyways

BTW We have 10 titles from those two, check all the other Div 1 colleges in MA. NCAA #1 State
in MN we have two classes A and AA... AA is for bigger schools and usually is the "best" class

Because it's community. A high school team in Minnesota doesn't rep just the school, they rep their entire city.

this is highschool hockey buddy. college and highschool have no relation at all. but if you wanna look at college hockey, MN produces more D1 hockey players than any other state.

Tick-tac-toe. Its usually how we roll. Besides the games you're talking about are the STA and Hermantown games. Little Falls and Rochester Lourdes are not the greatest teams and some of the sections down South are sometimes dominated by one team. Class AA have some of the best hockey programs among the best in the nation. We have people from hundreds of schools miss school sometimes just to watch these hockey games. MA is just an infant when it comes to hockey. We have history. Tradition.

college hockey players come from around the nation. and Minnesota still produces the most pro players in the nation, and 80% of the U of M hockey team is from Minnesota. how many players at BC and BU are hometown kids? Minnesota is and always will be the State of Hockey

the NHL does draft high schoolers out of Mass, but not nearly as often as they do from MN simply because, like you said, the talent is better in Minnesota #stateofhockey

You cannot argue Minnesota hockey is the best, I went to everygame, even losers bracket( my team unfortunately dd not make it) and every game was insanely intense.

What does that have anything to do with it? Division 1 hockey has players come from all over the world to play, it has nothing to do with the state's natural talent.

alright, heres the thing. minnesota produces more NHL, D1 and D3 hockey players then any other state. Our better players leave hs before they're 15-16 years old to go play juniors, NTDP, etc. Even with that being said our state tournament ranks the best in the nation for any sport. With your horrible question about NCAA championships, which doesnt go with this video whatsoever, we have 6(UofM & UMD) to your 9 (BC & BU). but with ND basically being MN cause MN players go there, its 13. Questions?

How can you say "didn't think so bud" when I havnt replied. You don't wait 4 hrs in line use your brain nobody ever waits in line 4 hrs. I myself have waited 2 1/2 hrs to get into a fenway game and 2 hrs for the beanpot tournament. Others may have waited longer in line but thats the most I have ever waited.

Yeah bro these games are sold out. These games are play at the Xcel. There are 18,000 in attendance. There is no way MA can beat that. I'm pretty sure Highland Park would still kick all MA high school hockey teams lol. MN is clearly the State of Hockey.
