When I walk out the door, my BG 2.0 has quickly become the firearm I take. It is just so easy to carry. It may be the smaller caliber, but it is truly capable for its intended use.
Nick, much appreciate the comparison. I’ve not shot the bodyguard 2.0, but I have shot the G43X extensively. I would like to shoot the bodyguard 2.0 at some point, but I have the Shield Plus and for me it or my SIG P365XL would be my choice every time. Preferably the Shield Plus, but I’m somewhat biased towards all of the M&P 2.0’s. Glad you’re feeling better, thanks for all you do!
The BG2.0 was really a homerun! Pocket carry may not be ideal but for quick jaunt or a more professional setting it has a place and so good for carry. The fact that it shoots so good is a massive bonus. Thanks for the videos sir!
Just ordered my BG 2.0, Can't wait to get it . Did you have to drift your sights. Everything ive seen said it's hitting to the left right out of the box. Thanks. New sub
Out of the box (one of the first videos we made of it) I didn’t think it was very accurate. I think it’s how I was holding the gun though. Now I just point and pull the trigger. It shoots great!
I have both, but carry the 2.0 in an Alabama Holster pocket holster. To me, the smoothness of the 2.0, especially the trigger, more than make up for the smaller caliber.
The BG 2.0 is easy to rack? You are the first person I have seen who thinks so. Mine certainly wasn't/isn't (though with time it isn't as difficult as it was at first). Still, it is far-and-away the best pocket-sized .380 on the market today.
Another great video. I'm thinking of a bodyguard for my lady. If you wanna get something a little different, I carry a sar9c socom. It's Turkish just like the Canik. It's the best gun ive shot imo. I think you'd fall in love too and would love to see your opinion.
Picking up a Sar is on the to list. I’m currently dragging my feet to release some content on a new pistol. I think it’s going to go over extremely well.
I suspect there will be some hefty Christmas bonuses for the 2.0 crew at S&W this year. They have solved many problems....small, easy to shoot, good capacity, and affordable.
@@averagemarksman Indeed, and it's up to design and QC to resolve them. I bought mine 6 months after release, yet it presented all issues people have been reporting. It's a great shooter, but QC deserves a zero 0️⃣ 👌🏽
I had the Max a couple of years ago. I sold it because of the build quality and got the G42. I’ve had the BG2.0 for a couple of months and yes, it’s more expensive than the Ruger, but it feels and looks more expensive. It shoots better as well being slightly bigger. These are not range guns where a bunch of rounds can go down range, but shooting enough for quality practice and function tests are okay.
My BG2.0 has gotten easier to rack and to load the mags. I kept it the slide locked back for the first few weeks and the mags loaded as well which helped.
The Glock 42 is a good choice. The 43 is a bit chunkier. Gasp 😯 they don't hold enough rounds. The bodyguard,,,, man is my lcp2 gonna get replaced. Geez.

@@FoHoCo I agree! It’s so easy to carry.
Your voice sounds much better, I would choose the 2.0 easier to conceal and 380 will get the job done if needed. Thanks
@@r.b.5618 on the road to recovery! Agreed. 2.0 is a great choice.
For carry yes...but the firearm itself Glock all day.
Over the holidays my small aunt tried both and couldn't manipulate either one..she argued to my uncle she wanted her revolver back..😅
Revolvers make the situation easy.

I’m pretty biased towards the 2.0’s myself. At the end of the day they would all work in a bad situation.
Nick, Thank you very much. You and your family have a beautiful and blessed weekend. LORD GOD Bless and stay vigilant.
Thank you, sir. You too.
Gotta go with 9MM if its a pick em, but for me they are really two different applications, pocket on the S&W or holster for the Glock.

You might want to look into the Vedder Pocket Locker. Get one with the tab and you'll see.

When I made this video the gun had 500+ rounds through it and the magazines were broken in pretty good. At first, it was not easy to rack.
Can you make a plug for the bottom of the bodyguard handle like the make for glock
@@dougmottert2258 I’ll look into it. Should be able to make it happen.
Once I get my 2.0 I'll have to compare it to my Father in law's OG Shield.

I’m considering getting the Bodyguard 2.0 for its conceal ability. Which holster do you use or recommend?

How does it compare to the LCP Max? I can get the Max for under 300.
I don’t have enough experience with the LCP Max to make a comparison.
I paid $299 for my Bodyguard 2.0

Which one are you choosing?
my bodyguard 2.0 is a lot harder to rack than my 43x. the bodyguard has a much stronger spring in it.
How many rounds are through your BG 2.0?
@averagemarksman that may be it. The 43x has about 1500 rounds through it and the bg 2 has maybe 300 rounds through it
